Pink Drink Starbucks Refreshers Beverage~ Today's drink, it's not spring without one! What's your go-to Spring drink?

This morning hubby and I were hangry so we decided to grab a quick breakfast! To drink I ordered the Pink Drink Starbucks Refreshers Beverage. It's not spring without one! And this fruity drink is made with coconut milk if you have a dairy allergy! What are you sipping on this nice Spring day? For breakfast I ordered the Pumpkin & Pepita Loaf. This THICK sweet loaf is my go-to bakery item that's available year-round! What's your favorite bakery item? I would recommend this location, hubby enjoyed his drink as well so we'll definitely be making a return visit!

Today on October 17th, 2025 at 8:45 pm, a racist comment was written on my cup. I find this behavior incredibly disgusting and insensitive. English is my second language and while I do have an accent I try my best to communicate. There were only two female employees working here. I called the store and explained my concern over what was written but the worker I talked to refused to admit "English" was written and lied that they had written "Enjoy". Frankly, the lack of accountability is the most frustrating and I hope there will be consequences for this disrespect and such blatant lies.

Open 24hrs? No not really. Drive thru 24hrs inside till 8pm.. this needs to be somehow addressed in their description/hours I'm not the only one coming in thinking it's open later. This would be an awesome location if they at least were open inside to 9 or 10pm. Overall good service pretty friendly staff clean inside and the açaí strawberry black tea lemonade was pretty refreshing on this 105* weather day.

They don't follow their business operating hours. Not really sure when they open and close so I can't ever stop by here because of that.

Our drinks and food came out quickly. The Turkish pot was beautiful. The coffee itself was rich for me, as I'm usually not a caffeine drinker, but wasn't too strong that it was off putting. The pastries were good, we liked how light and not too sweet the mango pastry was. We sat around for a while enjoying our drinks and working. It was quiet enough the get work done and not feel bad about taking up a table. We really loved it here and are adding to our list of favorite coffee houses.

I bought 6 creamy pastries. There's a slection of about 12 to choose. No prices in the display case. So I was shocked that the 6 I selected came to $48! A couple of them were baklava that are the size of my thumb. There's some bagged coffee at the counter. I put them up to my nose to get a whiff of aroma. I squeezed the bag near to breather hole. Absolutely no coffee aroma at all. What this place uniquely offers is late hours of operation. Open to 11pm Monday - Thursday. Friday - Sunday open to midnight. I just sampled 3 of the desserts. Creamy pistachio bombe, coffee bombe, and a cannolo. All are satisfying sweet and luxurious. Will I return for more? At $8+ per piece that's debatable.

Best matcha is from Offbeat coffee in sac, but the double at Gu Ca Phe is just as good and has its own unique charm. Worth the price, worth the drive! Amazing. If I got it with normal sweetness, I don't think I'd love it as much. Long version: Cute little spot in an unsuspecting location. I don't live in Roseville but was here for an appointment so I stopped by since this place has been on my list. After trying dozens of matchas in Sacramento and surrounding areas, this one definitely rivals the top spot. It's a small location and the service was nice and pretty standard. They also have a kiosk so you can take extra time to scroll through the menu with photos. Not a fan of the AI artwork throughout if I'm being honest but I know it's a sign of the times. And I'm glad their drinks actually do look pretty damn close to the photos unlike other businesses. I got the regular size double matcha, less sweet. If it was regular sweetness, I don't think I'd like it as much. The matcha is good quality, seems like it was freshly handwhisked but not sure. It is strong without being astringent. The matcha cream is amazing and strong as well. You def have to love matcha to enjoy this one. It's going to be stronger than something you find at Starbucks of course. I love matcha to hit me in the face so this drink was perfect. They have the good ice, too ! A similar matcha I've tried, and is my personal #1 across dozens I've tried, is from Offbeat Coffee (x2 matcha). Gu Ca Phe has finessed something similar and I honestly feel like it would be worth the drive from West Sac to Roseville just for Gu Ca Phe's double matcha. I want to try their other drinks. The sugar croiffle was delicious, too!

The interior is small but clean and brightly lit. The coffee is good but weaker than I expect when getting Vietnamese coffee. It is phin dripped, and the classic flavor is there, but less creamy texture. Traditionally the brew is very strong and mixed with condensed milk only - the ice in this instance is necessary to balance the boldness. In this coffee, between the added milk and large amount of ice, it is watered down and not the full bodied experience you would expect. Overall still a good cup, and probably the best you can get in the immediate area, but not wholly satisfying if you are seeking the traditional Vietnamese coffee flavor.

So I called my middle daughter who is still enjoying her post college mini vacation and told her to meet me there-We headed to Cafe 86 in Roseville. They are located in a little strip mall on Foothills Blvd and they have ample parking as they share a lot with other businesses. Walking in,it was a cute little shop with many tables and spots to hang out.I was mesmerized more by the vast menu of coffee drinks to choose from. My daughter ended up going with an Iced Sea Salt Coffee($3.00) and I ended up ordering an Iced Caramel Latte($6.50) As far as pastries go we got the Ube Crack Cheesecake ($5.50) The friendly gentleman working the coffee shop was great. He was the only employee and watching him take the time to be so meticulous in his coffee making skills was great. Even after delivering the drinks to us, he still checked on us to make sure we liked the taste of the drinks and if they needed any modifications like more milk or more syrup. Got to admit that was a first for me-most coffee shops just deliver the coffee drinks and that's the last you ever hear from the employees. Now for the drinks-my daughter did not like her drink at all and I knew she wouldn't. She is a 22 year old who was raised on Dutch Bros-style drinks loaded with sugar and syrups. Her drink was basically just straight coffee with some Sea Salt. Now my drink, that's a whole different story. The Iced Caramel Latte was amazeballs-it was so well made-perfect balance of creaminess and sweetness. I really enjoyed my drink-it's actually in the running as one of my Top 3 coffee drinks currently in Sacramento area. I didn't get to try the Ube Cheesecake but my daughter really enjoyed it-she is a pretty big fan of UBE anything. As a topper as we were walking out the great gentleman working the store asked us if we wanted to try another pastry free of charge-he offered us the Turon Pop Tart. I jumped at the opportunity-it tasted like sweet caramelized banana and jackfruit delivered in a flaky pastry-I'm a fan, I really enjoyed it. In closing, this place was a really cute Filipino-inspired dessert shop that makes really great coffees- My daughter enjoyed my drink so much we ended up swapping drinks. I ended up with the Sea Salt Coffee which was very enjoyable for a mature palate. They have great customer service, great coffee drinks and solid pastries-I will be back.

They add the right amount of jelly, boba, Ube ice cream, flan, and the frosted flakes for that crunch. All that and we still didn't think it was too sugary. We've also tried most of their desserts - Ube tres leches, Ube leche flan cupcake, Ube butter bar and the Ube pop tart. I LOVE THEM ALL!!! Overall, this place is dangerous...dangerously good!!
