Generally, a Starbucks is a Starbucks regardless of where in the world you visit them. The service is usually good, the product is familiar and of fairly good quality, and the prices are typically a little higher than local coffee shops. This location was no different. We stopped in for a quick drink and snack while we were in the area and received excellent service and quality products. We LOVE Starbucks, even to the point of buying their products at Sam's Club to use at home. read more

I started to use this Starbucks more frequently instead of the one by the airport to meet up with my friends, because they have started validation parking and I can only park there only for an hour even with a purchase. I can always appreciate plenty of free parking space. I like their outdoor seating with a good scenery . Good drinks and good customer service as always. Line could be long here and the trash bins outside get really really full. read more

Probably one of the slower Starbucks on average but I'd attribute that to staffing as the two ladies working here when I came were working hard, especially with one at the register for a long line. It doesn't help that rheir mobile ordering is down, but maybe it rakes a village to also handle mobiles? Otherwise the store is generally spacious with lots of natural light and plenty of outdoor seating. read more

Due to covid, this location closes earlier than usual, at 6:30pm on Sundays. Came here to order an ice caramel macchiato and there was little to no line but the barista somehow took awhile to get my drink together. read more

This is a nice little haven for getting away from the burdens of the day - so long as you can find a seat. Usually you can. The staff are nice and courteous, though sometimes during a rush you can see they're rushing, too. Of course you don't want to dillydally, but grace under pressure goes a long way. That being said, I'm a regular and most of them greet me by name, which is nice. There have been a handful of incidents in which my order doesn't get from the cashier to the barista and I have to remind them of my drink, but the ration of how often i go there and that happens is only about 10:1 - for every ten visits that might happen. I go a lot. The food's pretty good, the drinks are fantastic, and the atmosphere is conducive for coffee-drinking. read more

Worst SERVICE ever....I placed my order at 12:25 & NEVER got my items till 12:45!!!Most irritating about it is 2 customer's came after me & was waiting after me got there beverages & food before me & all I ordered was a refresher & iced matcha latte & pumpkin loaf. The barista wasn't even friendly they all looked Grumpy tbh.TBH the store wasn't even Busy so why did they take long with my drinks & food. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!! read more

I love me some Starbucks but I need to get this off my chest. Mobile order is suppose to eliminate wait time for the customer, help with line control for the baristas (paying via app cuts down transaction time), & avoids miscommunication...order is in black&white printed out. 4 out of 5 times I've used mobile ordering the barista gets it wrong. It's not a specific location it's many locations. I understand your jobs are fast pace on the go but take the time to read the order to get it correct obviously I am in a rush I don't have time waiting around hence why I'm using mobile order feature. My ticket clearly says 1 of 2 so when I asked for my 2nd item the barista asks another barista if there was another item. Hello look at my damn ticket. Didn't you make my drink. Who knows if she got the change from 7 pumps to 3 pumps of sugar correct apparently they don't read orders throughly! read more

I infrequently come to this starbucks; usually only when I am waiting to pick up someone from the airport. When I do come, I am surprised at how friendly the baristas are. On my last visit, the cashier was memorably friendly and my hot latte was served with the little stopper in it already! I always forget to ask for one, and coffee spills all over my car. Because this location is located right in the middle of a large area of military housing, I don't usually see very many locals, but there is almost always a line. I like that there are a variety of seating options: comfy chairs, a large communal table and outside tables. I usually get iced drinks, but since it's been so cold lately, I've been ordering lattes. Starbucks also came out with their new "flat white" recently, so I might have to try that in this chilly weather:) read more

Just a short review. Excellent service. First starbucks in a while where EACH batista who helped me told me to have a great day. Usually those who call the drinks out just say thanks and go back to what they were doing but the girl today said that to each and every customer and had a smile on her face the whole time. Wish I saw her name to shout her out for excellent service! read more

Just like every other Starbucks, this place is heaven! I'm semi-obsessed! The location is convenient but it does get pretty busy as it is a shopping center. Parking is usually a drag but I can deal with that! The staff is friendly and they're super quick. I'm usually the type of person who orders and leave. But if you want to sit and relax, it's kinda difficult to find a free table during the week...however...other tables are located outside as well. Lots of variety in stock...from cups to coffee blends to pastries to sandwiches...you will always leave a Starbucks with more than you initially came to purchase...at least that's how I am! read more

The closing crew on April 24th, 2023 were very helpful and made my day. They were very polite and were working very hard to make sure everyone felt welcomed in the store. Staff is friendly and drinks are made correctly. If you order mobile, there is a different door to go in.

This starbucks is so lax and never busy. Hopefully, this review will not make it popular and busy in the future, lol. It is located near the Navy Exchange area and surrounded by a number of fast food joints, such as McDonalds, Taco Bell, Jack in the box, etc. For all the students, there are many tables with nearby electric outlets and plenty of padded chairs In addition, there is a patio area located between the jamba juice and starbucks to study with plenty of chairs and wifi. Finally, the baristas mix and serve the drinks well. read more

Just got a mouthful of COFFEE GROUNDS. Don't you just HATE when that happens? Ruins the whole SBUX EXPERIENCE. Trying this location for the first time. Crew SEEMS friendly and efficient but their so-called main purpose is to just serve good coffee. This they failed miserably in doing. Minus 5 stars really. Okay, I went back for a refill and KARA gave me a $4 comp card for my next purchase with a new cup and sincere apologies so IT'S ALL GOOD NOW, Starbucks Moanalua Shopping Center. Almost constantly crowded with a line, hardly a good meeting place, scant on parking, and never a quick option. This Starbucks is probably the most convenient location in regards to my house and workplace. You might be wondering "Why 3 stars with all the negative comments?" Honestly, this location is consistent and still provides good customer service, and while I might have given it 2 stars a week or two ago, I opted for 3 in light of learning about Starbucks mobile ordering. This eliminates two of my first complaints, and I'm realistic enough to know Starbucks themselves can't do anything about the bad parking situation, plus there are plenty of tables to meet outside provided the weather is fair. As long as this location continues to have my food and drinks ready when I get there and everything continues to taste how I expect Starbucks should taste, this location is "A-OK" to me. read more

The person who took my order looked very stressed, since it was busy I guess. I repeated my order at least three times, and he still said "Huh?" rudely. Lol. Don't hate me but I'm not really a coffee person. When I drink coffee it affects me like 100x more than the average person. I could drink a Tall and be up all day feeling like the Flash. Anyway I like this Starbucks. Mainly because it's the only one I'm familiar with in Salt Lake. I just moved into this area and I'm well aware that there's a Starbucks at least 1 mile in any direction. I was happy to find this one. I love going to Starbucks when I'm feeling a sweet tooth cause I love their cake pops and their Caramel Macchiatos make me feel some type of way. The last time I visited this location I had a ... Caramel Macchiato and a breakfast sandwich. I was so in a rush that I left without grabbing my sandwich. When I walked back into the Starbucks shamefully the barista smiled at me and said "Is this yours?" While holding my sandwich. I was so embarrassed because here was like sea of people staring at me. She was so cute and nice. I thanked her then swallowed the sandwich on my way to my car. Starbucks is the best!!! read more

I got my caramel machiato this early evening. It's perfect it's just the way I want it, it's the way it should be every time. . You know if u paying more than $3 on a coffee it better worth it of the price. I mean come on, if I'm paying $6 over on my coffee it'd better be damn good right. I just don't know the man or his name. They should keep him for real. He knows how to make coffee read more

So I called this morning looking to see if they had whole bean packages I could purchase to make coffee at home and I needed a recommendation on a medium roast because the dark roast isn't getting this momma up n going how it needs to. Olivia was more than accommodating! She took her time on the phone and went through their inventory and helped me pick out a seasonal roast she personally loved! And also let me know that if you ever want to purchase whole bean they can grind it up for you right in store, I never knew that was an option! Just overall wonderful customer service. read more

Strike two for Starbucks. Again, asked for light ice....it was marked but the girl who made my drink ignored or disregarded the lite ice. When I pointed it out to her and asked, she said it was light ice......no it wasn't she offered to make my drink over, I was so disappointed that it happened to me last night AGAIN, that I left. I can't drink really cold things so that's why I ask for light ice....and FYI when I emptied the ice out I only little less than HALF of my venti matcha pineapple drink..... read more

Did not have a good experience here. I was ordering my drink and the cashier (Aysha) was texting while I was ordering! We also let her know there was a fly in the display case and she brushed us off with a smart ass comment saying "oh the case isn't refrigerated" we know it's probably not going to be served but we were just trying to let them know. The employees were distracted and didn't look like they were doing their jobs except for the girl making all the drinks by herself. Like where are the manager to manage the store? read more

Super quick! Went here the other day while my daughter was at pigtails and crewcuts and I literally was gone for about 5 minutes. This is our usual Starbucks we go to and we love it, but today the lady working the register with black hair at 8:15 am on Sunday the 28th had horrible customer service. She wouldn't let us finish the order because every 5 seconds she said "anything else" I would start to say my next item and before I can finish she said anything else again, during our 45 seconds transaction she said "anything else" 7 times. Not to mention there was nobody else in the store so I'm confused as to why she was trying to rush us through, then on top of it she didn't get our order correct. It was just surprising rude considering every time we come here they are usually all very nice. read more

Having had a very long and busy day at work yesterday I was really looking forward to a Starbucks pick me up. I don't usually come To this location but it is nearby my parent's home so I dropped in. I ordered a venti cafe mocha with cream. Well there was no cream which wasn't a big deal to me but there was no espresso in it either!??? It just tastes like the hot chocolate I would get my son sometimes. I had my dad taste it and he agreed that there was nothing in it except for milk and chocolate. Unfortunately I was already home when I tasted it and realized the mistake. read more

I visit this Starbucks for the first time as my kids were at gymnastics and the only thing which was going to keep me from falling asleep standing up was an iced coffee. First off, the cashier was very friendly and I always appreciate this because spreading the love to strangers is not the easiest thing for someone to do all day long. I decided to treat myself to a pumpkin bread and asked the cashier to have it warmed up. Here's where it starts to go downhill... as I waited for my items I realized that the drink & food pick-up are on opposite sides of the counter. Very, very, very, very awkward. Is this poor design or a worker not wanting to walk to the other side of the counter? Whatever it is, I just don't like it. Basically I picked up my coffee from one side and had to dash to the other side to get my pumpkin bread. I hope I've fully expressed how very weird this all felt. Oh, AND they forgot to warm up my pumpkin bread, which I of course didn't realize until I was a few miles away. If you are a Starbucks pumpkin bread fan, you know that this basically takes a pastry which ranks an 8 out of 10, down to a sad little 4. read more

Worst service that I've ever had at any Starbucks. There were 4 girls there and not one person acknowledged me. One girl was doing something under the counter by the register and not once acknowledged me. Come to find out she was the manager, Jewel was her name. Not even a "we'll be right with you". I was their last customer. I guess they were too busy trying to clean up so they could leave, I get it but at least acknowledge your customers! It's a good place to get grab-and-go coffee if you really need it. The atmosphere wasn't something that impressed me at all though. It was a bit messy with lots of boxes stacked up by the pick-up counter... and they weren't just 'clean' boxes but for lack of a better description, 'all buss up hamajang kine'. It felt weird to stand around by dirty old boxes while waiting for my coffee. Call me a snob, but I expect shops to keep their stores aesthetically appealing especially for a national brand. There are certain expectations that need to be met. It's not a mom-and-pop coffee shop in Chinatown! LOL. But why I really had to dock off a star is b/ they only had one cashier and one barista!?! WHY? There were at least 5 people waiting for coffee after I put in my order and it took 15 minutes to make a latte. Coffee and steamed milk. Just no. I'm laughing just thinking about it b/ that's a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a very simple drink. I'm usually never in this area, so it's not like I'll really be forced to return. Regardless, I don't recommend this Starbucks. read more

I spent many times walking into this Starbucks while waiting for my dad to get off work. Each time the lines are long, and it always feels short-handed. I frequented enough times to listen to the baristas talk about how long their shifts were or are. Not encouraging to listen to while waiting. I feel like the person making my drink is passing me down their negativity since theyre whipping it up. There was one instance that the very same barista on another day made our drink, forgot about the other and she literally did that talk-to- yourself-oh-yeah reminder. Thank goodness it was the iced tea she forgot or else i wouldve slumped over as the weight of my beard growing out takes its toll. Short-handed seems fitting as the insides have always been dirty. The area where the sugars and all that totally looked ransacked and the waiting time is much longer than one would spend waiting on their usual. Understandably, this area apparently is high traffic between the eateries around, the DoD's who also work in the vicinity, and is probably the closest starbucks to many in the surrounding area. Whenever we have been in its been around 330 so probably and because they're so busy they don't get the chance to clean up especially during the time.ive been in. With that said...I get it. I must say despite all that I've written, baristas are never rude. They're clearly working to the best they can. Perhaps they truly are or were understaffed and just burnt out. If so, it shows. My drinks have been made fine so at least it didn't make the wait anti-climatic. And....good thing I was in no hurry to be somewhere. Beauty of vacay. Enjoy! read more

I don't know if its all Starbucks locations or if its just this one because I am in here for longer than an hour, but it gets very cold. The service is same as any other location, place your order and a minute or two later you get your drink. The normality withh coffee shops is that you have to be a "regular" to receive OUTSTANDING service. On this visit, I had to wipe down my table because it was extremely dirty, although I didn't see anyone using it since I walked into the location throughout ordering my drinks.
