this coffee stand is right at the entrance of the hospital. their prices has gone up since the last time i was here, last year. i always get their panini's on my way out after my appts... the chicken turkey pesto is delicious! unfortunately, it is now $8.95. to me, that's expensive for JUST a sandwich! i would expect a bag of chips or a drink with it at that price. i was craving it, so i just went for it. know that there is a wait time for them to make it, about 8-10 min, depending how busy it is. i've never gotten any drinks from there, so i can't make a review on it. however, while i wait for my panini, i do see a lot of employees ordering them... so it must be good.

During this past month, I've been either "chaufeurring" my sister to Tripler Army Medical Center OR taking my brother-in-law to visit my sister at Kaiser Permanente Hosptial, Moanalua. So, shortly after my brother-in-law was discharged from TAMC, my sister went in for surgery at Kaiser while I "camped" at their home to assist them with marketing, cooking and housecleaning. I admit that I'm really not a "morning person". I do need a good brew, um, make that coffee, to get me going. Strategically placed at the main entrance of this hospital is Paradise Isle Espresso. Through bleary eyes, I'd escort my recovering brother-in-law to visit my, then, hospitalized sister. After bidding my sister good morning, I would quickly get downstairs to grab that brew! The fragrant coffee/espresso aromas were like a "head slap" to me as I'd pass by or while standing in line behind others. The taste of their fresh brewed coffee was sublime, rich and smooth. I didn't get their special or flavored coffees. Service was always friendly and quick. Of course, once I had downed some coffee, I'd return to sit and visit with my sister! #319

Good coffee & nice staff! Busy place located in front of Kaiser Moanalua Hospital. I had a large iced mocha with soy, snd my sister had a complicated mocha concoction that the staff cheerfully made.

A nice little stand in a pretty good location. It's located at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Building near the Pensacola street parking entry. They have been here for little over a year. There used to be another vendor here a few years ago. They have alot of different type of sandwiches, drinks, coffee, etc. I ordered a Tuna Melt and it was ono. The young lady that works here is cool and friendly. If you're ever in the area, I suggest you give this place a try. ps. They accept credit cards too

Conveniently located at Kaiser Permanente Moanalua front circle. Come here for a great "pick me up" coffee fix or for quick snack/lunch. The Delicious menu features choices of both hot & cold coffee (see menu photo) granita's are also on their menu (I've noticed these are pretty popular) they're cups of amazing coffee slush, yum! My absolute favorite thing is the Hawaiian iced tea, (it's sweetened) a large size is ~2 dollars & it's delicious! Their lunch menu regulars include the Turkey panini and tuna melt (both delicious). Once in a while a Reuben will appear on the menu and it's a MUST TRY, you know...if you're into that kinda thing. Give the sandwiches 5-10 mins to reach their ultimate level of deliciousness. If you're feelin that a sandwich is too heavy, there's also Musubis, chips, bars and muffins available for purchase. The staff is always friendly, quick and personable. Prices are reasonable. Stop by if you're at kaiser!

Location: There coffee cart is located next to the front entrance. You can't miss it! Food/Drinks: I'm on an iced white chocolate latte kick so I ordered their iced white chocolate. I was not disappointed. There regular coffee drinks have a shot of expresso in it. Win! I like my coffee iced and strong. I spend around $4 for my cup of joe which is the average priced for coffee drinks. I also ordered their turkey pesto panini. It was delicious. I paid around $6 for it which is roughly how much I paid in the past for something similar. I would definitely recommend trying their ice coffee and paninis. It's a good alternative to the hospital's cafeteria.

Coffee cart breakfast. Looking forward to the major renovations underway at the hospital!

Breakfast of champions at Kaiser Moanalua! The coffee cart in front is a family business that's been around for over two decades, its current owners just renewing their deal with Kaiser for another three years. The spam musubi came highly recommended by my friend @toddk968, and runs out fast. It's got a dash of barbecue sauce, which is a nice twist... and it definitely beats the brown rice tainted spam musubi available at Sunrise Cafe inside the hospital. And the coffee drinks, both hot and cold, are a welcome treat on an early morning.

Mocha Granita with Whip....hell yeah! Bold coffee flavor but smooth and creamy!

Paradise Isle Espresso is conveniently located in front of Kaiser Moanalua Medical Center and Hospital. They offer a full coffee menu, but my fave is their coffee granita. Yes...it's poured from a slurpee like machine but it has a great coffee concentrate for a smooth bold flavor, offers a big caffeine boost and is creamy and smooth unlike Starbucks Frapps. They also serve musubis, cookies, croissants and paninis. The staff is always friendly and service is fast, even in the mornings when staff are just clocking in. Hospitals suck, but good coffee always makes the trip better!

My go to place when I'm working at Moanalua! I usually mobile order the iced Thai, but my usual favorite is white mocha (iced or hot).

Half and half granita was perfect. Robust coffee flavor and not too sweet. Definitely will be my regular order from now on!

Great iced coffee menu, but buyer beware: the medium is the same volume as the large, you just pay more for the large.

Its location was a mystery and the way the food disappeared off our plates was the magic. We were met with love and we were served love in our to go containers. We ordered house fried noodles, orange chicken, house fried gyoza, vegetarian spring rolls with sides of white rice and various, delicious tea drinks. I have never had bacon in my fried noodles before and I know bacon makes most things taste better but this was truly the cherry on top. I loved the noodles. I love thin noodles like angel hair pasta and finally I've found a place that serves a thin fried noodle. It was delicious. The orange chicken was hot and tasty and we didn't get any fatty pieces which made it perfect!! That's huge to my family. Speaking of which, I have a big family we're talking 8 people and the portions at this place were delightfully generous. You might be buying dinner today but you'll likely have lunch for tomorrow too! I don't know what they put in the drinks but I am hooked. My goodness! Iced-Cool Liquid happiness for my tongue, throat, stomach and soul. I was upset when it was gone. I'm still upset. This place is truly off the beaten path but worth the effort to find and dine. Drive directly down the alley when you see the Sweet Corner Cafe sign on the corner(keep your eyes peeled). Go all the way down, you'll be able to turn around and there's parking along a building.

I really enjoy their glazed doughnuts, they taste like Krispy Kreme to me! I have cruised through the other choices and liked several of them! They do a good job with their fruit flavors. My inner fat kid was already side-eyeing me like "we both know that's not enough." That glazed donut though? Unreal. Soft, moist, and that glaze is straight disrespectful. Halfway through the box I was already mad at myself. Who buys 6?? That's not a quantity, that's a warm-up. Should've got 12 and saved myself the emotional damage. I felt kind of bad because it was a one person show and the owner guy had to accommodate a lot of customers by himself! It was a hot day and a cold drink sounded great. I heard someone mention there was a coffee vendor but the person made it sound like they were only selling cups of hot or iced coffee. Then someone walked by with a matcha drink and I knew I needed to check out Panday's booth. There was a small line of customers and the guy was working hard to chat with people, collect payments and make drinks. When it was my turn, I ordered the "Biko" coffee which is their special Filipino rice/coconut/condensed milk coffee. He said he probably didn't have enough and I should look over the menu to see if I had a second choice. I chose the banana matcha and he said he didn't have any banana syrup. I mean maybe the event was so popular that he ran out of drinks quicker than expected. I guess he was the only food/drink vendor at the event and it was a hot day.... In the end, he had enough Biko for my drink and everything was fine. It was a good latte and flavorful, but idk if I'd go out of my way to find it in the future. I do want to try the banana matcha still though. For a one man operation, this guys is killing it. He makes the espresso shots to order, so drinks may take a little while to get made. He was good at chatting up people in line while we waited though. Hopefully I'll see panday coffee at another event soon!

That's exactly what I did as soon as I saw the sidewalk sign right outside of Fishcake in Kaka'ako and I'm so glad I did ;) checking out their menu you can find the usual espresso, latte and americano and now for the fun stuff...their "Specialty Drinks" from Monkey Coffy which has house made banana syrup, Biko which is a Filipino rice milk coffee and even the newest The Panday Pandan Latte! I really was intrigued by their Monkey Coffy but really wanted to try their Matcha when they said that I could combine it for "Monkey Matcha" whaaaaaaat!!!! Their only concern is that the banana syrup could overpower the matcha so they weren't confident to put it on the menu but I tell you it was yummy and yes the syrup was very flavorful as I was told it is made with real bananas and has the equivalent of two bananas in each cup...incredible. The staff is amazing and informed me of the wait with several orders already in the works but I do love the creativity as they bring in the culture crafted in each cup is unique and "sip"ly delicious. Thank you!
