The food and drinks are also so obviously fresh and well presented it just sets the tone for a nice relaxing break. This charming little café has such a relaxed, local feel. It's tucked upstairs above what seems to be a coffee roasting area, which adds to its cozy, tucked-away vibe. The coffee was delicious- fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want before heading out on an adventure. What really makes this spot stand out, though, is the view. You get a beautiful oceanfront backdrop while you sip your drink, making it a perfect place to slow down for a bit. It's also super convenient, located right off the main road, so it's an easy and worthwhile stop. Overall, it's a cute and scenic coffee shop that's perfect for a quick break; highly recommend if you're in the area.

It does come as a single link, but it's perfectly portioned for an average breakfast and leaves you feeling full and satisfied without being overly heavy. My husband ordered the country fried chicken and really enjoyed it. The portion size on his plate was especially generous. Of course, we had to try the pancake flight--it was delicious and just the right amount. I love having a variety without feeling overwhelmed. One small note: I ordered a regular drip coffee and found the price a bit steep $5, especially since it only includes one refill--so definitely be sure to ask for it to get your money's worth. Overall, this is a spot we'll absolutely keep coming back to!

When I was handed a bag and asked if I could eat in, one employee looked to the other, who replied "I guess" -- as if my staying was an imposition. I've been sitting here and haven't been offered so much as a glass of water. To top it off, I ordered my eggs over medium and they came out with a fully hard yolk. A small detail, but it matters -- especially when the rest of the experience is already falling short. Hard to recommend when both the service and the food miss the mark.

There was parking behind the building and it's free but very limited. I got the strawberry glow smoothie which was inspired from Hailey Beiber's smoothie at Erewhon, and $18. It was very thick and it tasted a little like bananas, there was a lot of good ingredients that benefit you though.

High ceilings, amazing color palette, adequate seating. The menu is pretty simplistic which I loved! The staff were so so kind which always makes or breaks a coffee shop experience (in my option), so thank you for being so welcoming! I ordered their The Cloud Matcha. I believe they use Wai Koko as the base & coconut cream for the top. The drink was good, but it was small and I felt like there wasn't enough matcha in it for how much I paid (over $8). They also don't have Wi-Fi (which I believe may be by design) so if you're planning on doing work, be prepared to use your hotspot if you have one. Overall, this is a beautiful space to have that "coffee shop" experience with friends to talk story or if you're looking for a quieter shop to relax and rewind.

Plenty of parking, the Cafe is the bottom portion of the building that also houses Lanterns Tavern upstairs, which has a big sign (Countryside Cafe does not have signage). So, if you see Lanterns Tavern, you are in the right place. During my visit, outdoors was full, but inside was basic but quaint and gave off those country vibes one doesn't get that often. The menu has a full range, from eggs, pancakes, loco moco to poke, pork chops and seemingly everything in between. I went the breakfast route and the food was really good - at least that Kalua benedict. It consisted of this perfectly salty Kalua pork, spinach, tomato and perfectly poached eggs on an English muffin, topped with a mild hollandaise. And it was reasonably priced for Hawaii (read less than $20), if I recollect, it was closer to that $15 price point. It came with a heaping side of potatoes (or rice). Service was kind and quick. The Kim chee fried rice was tasty but the spice level was pretty mild. Service was fine. No major issues though we did feel a bit rushed. Overall, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but it's fine if I was in the area. Much rather go to Liliha bakery for the ambiance and service.

They have a variety of drinks, and snacks (some from local vendors). The scones and lemon cupcakes are bomb. They also serve lunch though I have yet to try bc I work in PC. They do shut down their oven a little earlier than closing and wont be able to warm up your baked goods but that didnt affect us bc who really cares. I am a black coffee girl but decided it was a waste of money when my hubs and I go on coffee dates to just get black coffee. I had been seeing their Lemon Bar Matcha online and it met the mark. So worth the buzz. My hubs got Cinnamon Crunch Cold Brew. It was good too. On our second visit my husband got the Chocolate Coconut Cold Brew (bc I suggested it bc I really wanted it) and it was way better than what I ended up ordering (what was it... Mango Matcha). Staff is hit or miss but that seems to be true where ever you go so whatevs. I will still return to get more.
