Well I'm trying to get my brew badge so of course I'm going to help correct this. Starbucks was actually open a few weeks ago after a short renovation and the renovations look nice. If you read my Waipahu Starbucks review (which I know you did) then the pics should look familiar because this place looks like a mirror image. Yep the Moanalua Starbucks now offers cold nitro brew. I swear Starbucks must only hire friendly people. You always get a welcome and a smile and a thank you. Drinks are always custom ordered and like they say "If you don't like it, we'll correct it." Overall four stars. The people are friendly and gracious. No five stars because they're so busy that they run out of supplies really quick. I had mobiles ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and a shot of espresso. It was ready upon arrival. I was greeted by staff upon entering and even before leaving which I was a little surprised about. Not all locations thank you for leaving. It was nice. The staff here was upbeat and their positive attitude was contagious. I really appreciate that they were super nice even though I accidentally came in through the exit door. They not only offered to help me carry my orders outside which is so thoughtful inspite of the times, but they put so much love into what they do. This is the worse most dirty Starbucks I have ever been too! It's not like they were short of employees nor was the line long to not maintain the cleanness of the place. Especially when food and drinks are involved. I am always judging a food/drink establishment on their restroom surely it doesn't have to be state of the art but at the very lease clean. Pictures tell no lies.... to think employees use the restroom too- yuck!! Makes you wonder what behind the counter may look like....thing that make you go hmmmm We arrived at before 8 and they already cleaned out the case of goodies! We was told that tell them what we want and they can get it for us.... whatever signs were out was what they had..... hmmm what happen to wanting to see the yummy for your tummy!! 11/2/18 Buy a holiday drink and get a free red cup to reuse throughout the holidays. This Starbucks has a good location it's on the way to work and open at 4 am for the early am workers. My favorite Starbucks near the airport. It is always busy when I come here but I am thankful that one they open early and two they get your order out rather quickly. I ordered on the app and it took them 20 minutes to make my order. I ordered before others, but they recieved there drinks before me. Workers saw me waiting by the counter for my order but didn't acknowledge nor ask me if I needed anything. The only way I got my order was to ask them for it. I ordered a Venti pink drink, but was given a grande of some other drink. I know they could've ran out of ingredients , but they could've told me instead of making me wait. Okay, to be fair this used to be my go to Starbucks location. With so many things going on at this location - jet fuel, water main break, Covid19 - I stopped going. So I went back a couple of times. Once mobile ordering wasn't available- had to walk in. "Oops, someone pressed the button too soon." 11/10 I was able to mobile order. Usually each location lets you know an item is unavailable. I wanted the pumpkin cream cheese muffin - yum. It was available . The drinks were ready, but no muffin . The guy tells hubby- who went back 3x, we don't have it, but we do have the pumpkin loaf. Hubby takes the loaf not knowing it's less in price. I check the app and the pumpkin loaf is unavailable . did we press the wrong button AGAIN? This location is very spacious!!! Probably the most I've seen yet! The customer service was great. He was polite and thorough with my order. I like my teas with no sweetners and he asked if I wanted and double checked my order. I greatly appreciate it. Four people were working. I thought they worked well together. 1 register, 1 pastries, 1 barista, 1 floater. The barista was working very hard and it showed... The wait was about 10 minutes when I got my tea and blueberry scone. I can imagine the morning rush going out the door so plan your trip wisely. One of the few places that's open at 7:55 AM in the plaza and it's only 8 minutes from the HNL airport. The cashier was very friendly. The cashier warned me that they had ran out of regular dried fruit oatmeal and only had blueberry oatmeal left. I know it's gross but the fresh blueberry oatmeal usually comes with mold on the blueberries. It happens every time at every Starbucks I've ever been to. So either ask to check the fresh blueberries beforehand or avoid the fresh blueberries altogether. They got my order right. Good service. Not much else I could ask for. read more

After a historic day, we needed a refresher quick. Walked in, and waited a couple minutes for the few people ahead. Our orders were taken efficiently and friendly. As we waited for our order to be made, I noticed how this location felt more spacious than some of the other ones I've frequented. One big table where you can spread your things out. A few chairs around the front for good lighting and visibility. Then, scattered tables with 2 chairs. Very cozy, chill and comfortable. Too bad it's a bit out of the way for me. Anyways, our drinks came, wonderfully colored. I ordered the Passion Tango and my partner in crime had the Lime Cooler Refresher. Totally refreshing and definitely hit the spot. Like many Starbucks, there is the plethora of coffee brand products and accessories. Very interesting to look through searching for the deals that come every so often. This Starbucks won't get my business again. I strongly dislike when a Starbucks location doesn't follow how a drink is to be made per Starbucks training. That or maybe they aren't taking the time to train their staff here. *When paying almost $7 for a BEVERAGES I expect quality.* So Saturday 10:30am take the Fam in and order 5 drinks. I order the same drink every time so it's routine to tell the Barista my order. "Venti soy iced green tea latte STIRRED a with light ice." Now the proper method to stirred is the original mix BEFORE a ice you stir very well. You DO NOT put it together, add ice and and lid and shake around and give it to the customer. The ingredients don't distribute properly. Heck of I wouldn't asked for you to stir it because I can shake around my own cup or mix my straw a little. So when the barista hands me my drink which is looking like soy milk and the powder all at the bottom, I asked nicely for stirred. What does he do? Asks oh, more? ...and then shakes around my cup! Ack! I was like, ummmm no stirred. He asked how is it supposed to be done. Yikes! He passes it back to the Barista behind him and she proceeds to make my drink. She had a stinky attitude about it too. I see her about to poor regular milk and call out to him that it's soy. So he lets her know soy and she tosses the cup, again with a BAD attitude and said well the cup didn't say so. Well, honey, it's not my fault he didn't write it correctly on the cup. This go around it didn't have light ice and isn't even filled, see photo. Looks like I took a big chug out of it already, but no that's how it was given to me. *shaking my head* Now my sons caramel frap with caramel walls. Caramel walls is a drizzle around the cups edges. This was brown with caramel all over, can't even see the actual drink! There was even about a quarter of an inch of caramel on the bottom, yuck! That's "overkill." My husband's iced vanilla coffee with milk and "simple syrup." Holy smokes this was like a cup of sugar! We both couldn't handle it! This was like diabetes in a cup! It went straight in the trash. Like I said we order our drinks the same all the time and this location just couldn't make it! Won't be wasting money like that on a drink. Between the stinky attitude of the female barista and the terrible drinks, skip this spot. Head to the Stadium location or even the target a block or so away. read more

This location is located in such a busy plaza. I was surprised the lunch rush had just finished! So when I went it there were only two people in line. I was able to order and think of what I wanted. The lady was super nice. She also had such a genuine smile and look to her face. She was very sweet and friendly. Stay like that please. I thought this Starbucks was pretty decent size. I thought the center table was awkward. It's so long and right in the center of the store. It's nice and spacious to do some work and group projects at though. This Starbucks was really chill. I casually stopped into this Starbucks to try the pink drink. I've been hearing about this pink drink for weeks amongst my nieces. Piqued with curiosity, I had to order one to see what was the hype for this drink. Well, the pink drink is very sweet. It has strawberries as garnish and sets you back $5 for a small. I believe it's made from non-caffeinated items (though I could be wrong). For the hype, it's good. Would I buy it again, probably not. As for this Starbucks, it's the same block box as the others. I always come here a couple times a week before work, majority of the time they're awesome, friendly & fast even when they are super busy. They will always greet you without fail every time you come in, love that. I only had a couples times where they were kinda off. My drink is always made on point, I've never received a bad drink from here, & if there's ever a mistake they will fix it right away no problem. Always a good atmosphere when we come here. The place is pretty big and there's sitting outside as well. The drinks are made well to my liking and pretty quick. The staff are always pleasant and friendly. I gave this location 4 stars because the drinks aren't consistent, like many Starbucks locations. Some people may say that it depends on the barista. But Starbucks does have a measuring system with everything they make, so that it should be the same every time or almost always is great too. However, today the barista while making my cold brew left it under the tap while multi tasking other drinks, which is normally completely acceptable, until she forgot that she left it there and proceeded to make five other drinks, clean up, then start more orders. I attempted to make contact with one of the three baristas but none were paying attention to me. Thankfully, one of the other two finally saw my drink because they had to pour cold brew for someone else and he finished mine even though I had to wait for him to finish the three others he was already working on. End of day, I stood around waiting 8 minutes beyond the time I should have had one persons not been forgetful and three people had not failed to pay attention to customers. I know it's busy, lots of customers, but please pay attention and stay focused, it's infuriating to see your merchandise sitting an inch from your grasp with no one giving it 10 seconds to put cream and ice into it. read more

Not my favorite Starbucks at all. The only thing great about here is the convenience for me. It's near my home and in a location I like to frequent to eat. The service is super slow. Not just sporadically, but all the time. No matter what time I come, they never fail to disappoint. They even have mobile orders that aren't ready, which sucks when you pay the premium price for it! Other than that, they have lots of merchandise to choose from , tons of seats, but also a lot of patrons who frequent here. For the most part, it is clean. There are options in the area which would be Stadium- one of my favorites with better service and speed. Airport Trade Center- I don't care for their parking situation but a lot faster also. Target Salt Lake - faster with less merchandise and selection of food. read more

Two days ago, I ordered a hot beverage for myself and cold danish for my coworker. Drink was ready 5 minutes before cold danish for the second time in a row. They heated the danish even though mobile order said not to heat. I asked for a new one and they handed me one in the plastic wrapper. No paper bag slip or anything. Yesterday I ordered a soy latte. I'm incredibly lactose intolerant. I do not order soy drinks because I enjoy paying more for already expensive coffee, or to be difficult. I get my drink and it has whipped cream on it. I ask for a new one because the drink isn't even supposed to have whipped cream on it. They remake my drink and I head to work. Get to work and realize they made my drink with regular milk. I have many military errands in the area and like to stop in during the hot summer for a cold drink and AC But the lines are very very long, especially bc it's mainly military patron and we have very similar schedules. So we all show up at the same time and there have been times I've gone to Jamba Juice because there is no place to sit or the line is huge. CONs: With 5 employees behind the counter,only 1 was working the register and 1 was making coffee while there was a long line of people waiting to order and waiting for their drinks. This is the closest Starbucks for me since I can literally walk to it. I check in quite often and have decided to finally write a review. The place is always clean and mostly organized. It is in a decent location but no drive thru. The staff is always friendly and I see new faces quite a bit. Recently, upon receiving my drink each time it has leaked on me. Now normally I wouldn't let it bother me. However, this is an ongoing occurrence and more than just a drip. I don't want to put my iced coffee in the cupholder of my car if it is leakimg from around the lid. Sometimes there are no napkins to grab or there are but the trash is overflowing. I haven't had any issues with my orders or my drinks. Sometimes I do have to mentiom the sandwhich on the counter goes to my mobile drink order which is a surprise since the sticker has the number of otems in the order. Sometimes it is busy and has a long wait of 15 minutes for an iced coffee. Sometimes it is hard to find parking too. Other than that Ihaven't had a problem. read more

Like if I ask for extra caramel I don't want a blob of caramel on top of the whipped cream. And I don't expect my Frap to look like its been sitting in the sun. I NEED Starbucks!!! I cannot function productively if I don't get my morning latte. With that being said this is where I go to get caffeine fix because I work nearby. I get my morning latte and from the cheerful, polite baristas. My drink (grande iced skinny vanilla latte) always tastes good. I've tried other drinks such as teas and frappuccinos that were made well too. I like that they offer samples here. Just today, it was like Costco up in here! I walked in and on the first counter there were samples. Then when I paid there were another row of samples. Then as I picked up my drinks more samples of their baked goodies.
