After dinner before heading to the airport dropping off my friend decided to have dessert . What a better place for dessert Baskin-Robbins ice cream yum . This particular location is in the Moanalua shopping center right next door to Ruby Tuesday . Very small location compared to other Baskin Robbins. Ice cream selection only 18 flavors in the front showcase . Behind another ice cream showcase. Normally they have all 31 flavors upfront to show customers what kind of flavors or seeing how the ice cream looks . Service was normal could have been a little faster only 4 customers in line . Located in Moanalua shopping center On the side that has Starbucks and Ruby Tuesdays- pretty much in the middle of them both. Cute little Shoppe.. I don't think there are chairs. You walk in the double doors and they have one freezer in front of you and then one freezer behind the counter. They also have premade cake cakes in the freezer on the right. You can also pre-order cakes here they do a great job with taking orders and making the cakes. You can choose your flavor and writing and decoration. Sometimes there's a line, but it goes really quick and they are very friendly read more

I called Monday afternoon and ordered a Mud Pie for my mom's birthday. It's honestly our every year birthday tradition. But I was told that they might discontinue it bc it's hard to get the ingredients for the crust (or something like that) Anywhoo, they do say that you should order 48 hours before the day you're wanting to pick it up to give them enough notice. Went in at 1:30 pm on Wednesday which was the time I requested to pick up my order and it was empty so I got helped right away. I kindly asked the lady if I could put Happy Birthday Mama on it and she asked what color and then made it within seconds. Came out perfectly!! I love the time and effort they put into delivering a special pie for a special occasion. The ladies were super nice and did such an amazing job helping us! I love when you walk in you get hit with the amazing smell of dessert. There's a few tables and chairs outside to enjoy your dessert. You should definitely go get your craving satisfied at Moanalua Shopping Center! 31 flavors just hits differently for me! read more

Baskin-Robbins - Old mud pie pic from a year or two ago. But still the best as always! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Dessert in Honolulu, Hawaii... We were nearby (at the NEX) when we thought about where to go after dinner... LOL! I remembered that there was a T-Mobile Tuesdays BOGO (buy one, get one) free offer at Baskin-Robbins and suggested that we go there! Located at Moanalua Shopping Center, Baskin-Robbins is towards the back of the line of restaurants... near to Ruby Tuesdays... past Starbucks... There were a few people before us - which gave us time to decide what to order. We agreed to get the same as we had on Tuesday: double kiddie scoops on a sugar cone! I selected the non-dairy Cookies 'n Crème and Rainbow Sherbet on top! It was delicious! Gosh... that crunchy sugar cone is satisfying! I appreciated the free shared parking, clean environment, cool air conditioning, and efficient service! Thank you! read more

The service here was good. I inquired about one of the flavors and the guy behind the counter offered me a sample. He was really nice. We got two of the 2 Scoop Sundaes $6.69 each. The two flavors I got in mine were Jamaica Almond Fudge and Triple Mango. They're two of my favorite flavors. Mine came with hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts and a cherry. It was yummy. The only downside is that they give small scoops in their sundaes. Each scoop is 2.5 oz. read more

Honestly I have never had a bad experience at any Baskin Robbin's. I love their flavors (pralines and cream) and their treats (brownie hot fudge sundae). This one has some seating outside and is in a convenient location. The employees greet with a smile and provide great service. All in all, you really cannot go wrong if you're looking for a treat to help you cool off on a warm island day! TIPS & TRICKS: * Hit this up after eating at one of the many food spots nearby, you've got plenty to choose from and this is a better dessert option than what the restaurants offer! read more

T-Mobile Tuesday is enough reason to get a cool treat.. With a single button click it's a $2 credit towards a purchase something cool so you know I'm all over that! Thankfully I was in the area so it was this Moanalua Shopping Center location which is filled with so much to choose from I was already on a mission and headed staring to my 31 flavors. Located more towards the back area right beside Ruby Tuesday parking is not an issue here though it can get filled it a matter of getting a few extra steps is worth making this stop guilt free lol! This location is super super small so small that they don't have all the flavors in their display case and have a menu listing the other flavors they have which didn't do much more me as I'm more a visual decision maker and it doesn't help that they window blast of their Oreo Mega Stuff. Already with a couple that can't decided they allowed me to go ahead of them and not wanting to get my head cluttered with choices I just went for and besides you really can't go wrong...right!?! Ordered a two scoop sundae and it was "Oreo Cookies 'n Cream"...no wait "Oreo 'n Cold Brew"...staff then asked..."would you like to try the cold brew"? Okay it was just amazing so yes! thinking two scoops of that...nope she scooped one of each and "shrug" why not lol!!! I was then asked for hot fudge topping...nah let me tell you they have a hella bunch of other that I won't go over but decided on marshmallow which isn't thick more a thin syrup kinda consistency but it did pair perfect like the center of the Oreo lol!! omg topped with chopped almonds and a cherry it really didn't last very long. Not too sweet and just the right amount to keep me cool it was the scoop of the day! Thank you! read more

Bought a new Cake in a Box item. Tried to order online for 34.99 but needed it same day. Went to grab one from the store. Rang me up and there was a price of the cake at $34.99 and a $5 "Local Item" charge. Asked what the $5 was for. Girl told me the register was not working correctly. Went to get her manager who never came out. She came back and said the online price is different...which I understand that can be the case. But then your price in the register needs to reflect the correct price. You can't just tack on an extra charge without an explanation. Another lady comes out and I ask if she's the manager. She says no and that it's a "store charge". What?! She then said the register had not been updated to reflect the correct price. I told her they needed to fix it and not just charge people a random $5 line item. I completed a survey and asked for a callback. A lady named Jane called me to apologize but stated she was "pretty sure the box stated the $39.99 price" putting it back on me. Honestly, I had not even looked at the box and have since thrown the cover away. It wasn't even about the cake cost. I just didn't want some added fee without explanation like some restaurants are doing these days until after you have already eaten. Jane offered me a scoop of ice cream...no thank you. A sincere apology and I'm so sorry we should have fixed the register would have been fine. read more

Enjoyed ice cream scoops and cakes from this BR for many years. The service is good considering there are only teens working and I've had no problems w/ scoop sizes here. This BR is great to grab dessert after your meal or just because. It's a small shop that does not offer 31 flavors but the flavors change according to what's available. It's 2023 and prices have gone up..$9 gets you 2 single scoops. This shop is conveniently located at Moanalua Shopping Ctr and has lots of free parking. read more

Inconsistent ice cream flavors. Disappointing to come in expecting flavors they don't carry from one week to the next.

Summer is here! Stopped by for some ice cream and milk shake for the family. I have to tell you, it's so refreshing to walk in an feel welcomed by the staff. All the other times we've been here, customer service was pretty sad. Today though, the three young ladies were on point! If I could time how long we were in BR, it would have probably been under 5 minutes. The girls were so fast, helpful, and it looked like they enjoyed working with each other. The ice cream.. countless times I've been disappointed leaving to find out there were no almonds in my Jamoca almond fudge. The staff helping me actually asked if I wanted to regular jamoca or the one with almonds!! Wow! It's too bad I didn't get their names to give them a shout out on Yelp! But they are definitely doing awesome! read more

Despite the 1 time we had bad service, I'll still always come back. Can't go wrong with the selection, quality and price, especially with the app. I don't come here for the service, just the ice cream. Be on the look out for that grouchy worker that you bother when enter. Be clear and loud on what you want, simple. The other workers are patient and cheerful. This 1out of 4 experience is still worth it to me. I'll be back. read more

Horrible staff! Lack of customer service. I don't need a 5 star service, but I expect some one that at least know how to be nice to people. These kids have attitude. No smile, just looks like they hate their job. Also, false advertising on those special is real they have posted. They should at least put sign that they don't have those characters because of Hawai'i law with biodegradable etc. no Dino or unicorn cups, then don't charge the full amount! If no sign, then atleast they should say something about it! But then again, like I said, they those staff serving tonight has no voice. No customer service at all. Pathetic! read more

Server shorted the ice cream scoops by skimming the top of the ice cream and hollowing out the middle of the scoop. I asked if that was a full scoop and she said yeah then proceeded to cover it up with a lot of whipped cream. When I got my ice cream I checked it and it was weak. I used to go there but considering the service, attitude and price of the ice cream for what they actually serve, I wouldn't waste my time or money at this location. read more

Baskin-Robbins can do no wrong in my book! Although the scoops are pricier here on Oahu, but everything costs more in Hawaii! We love the variety of flavors. The only reason I give this place a 3 is because I have ordered an ice cream which was amazing! If you are going to get a cake or pie get it here BUT if you want ice cream or small dessert... go somewhere else like daves ice cream. The portions were ridiculously small!! I didn't even take pictures because it was hot and my kids were eating theres up. Learned my lesson not paying that much for one scoop that was like a diet scoop. Lol. I want a cheating on my diet, worth the calories scoop!!! Service was ok. The shop is small so it gets crowded. read more

**UPDATED REVIEW** 8/13/2019-like WOW 5 stars because the two females working were amazing! They were friendly, helpful, and greeted us when we walked in!!! WOW!! They are keepers for employees!! The banana split was yummy and they had some great popular flavors!!! Just no daiquiri ice which is my all time flavor it takes me back to the days- up about 40+years back!!! thank you for the awesome customer service and great big smiles!!! We will definitely be back!!! Soon even though we live 30+miles away!!! ******************************* I would have selected no stars however this Place should call themselves 32 flavors, additional flavor workers - hair or body fluids take a choice, the female named Dolly in there uses the ice cream chest to cool herself off by leaning over into as well as fans herself. Even after I mentioned it to her that is not very sanitary she just continued to do. Maybe the owner named Jane, should by her workers a fan. So the product being sold can be free of someone's body juice... Or hair.... Never to go here again, just go next door to Ruby Tuesday, were at lease you can see if someone is doing that. read more

Ten minutes before close. My cousin and I got to this Baskin- Robbins before it shut the doors. We both ordered a two scoop sundae. My sundae consisted of mint chip with almond pistachio. The topping: a caramel, And whip cream with a cherry on top. There is ample seating outside and it seemed that everyone who came sat quickly and was done before I finished mine. The portion to price is a little down. At first, It almost appeared that the girl who served me might have forgotten my second scoop, not the case at all it was just small in a very large cup. Is that how it's suppose to look? For $5.50-$6 shouldn't it be nearly over the top of the bowl? Not hidden. I took the picture looking down on my sundae cause that's how it literally looked better than from the side - there wouldn't be anything to see... So perhaps the two scoop sundae could have been better. Factors: time of day? Possibly the crowd that was there ten minutes before closing? And supply? And they couldn't make the whip topping much bigger so they wouldn't open another one? So my four stars is cause the production of my cousins sundae and my sundae could have been done better (more for the price we paid) or at least prettier considering it might potentially get photographed. But.... I'm going back cause I love the mint chip! It has always been my favorite flavor as a kid till now. read more

I brought my son here after he received his orthodontic check-up next door. I hadn't had ice cream in awhile given the high summer temps so I figured this was optimal. It's a small store with a typical cooler of ice cream to view and choose, but then we were told another existed behind the counter. The negative was that we had to read a sign for those ice cream flavors when the Baskin Robbins experience is all about seeing the ice cream flavors galore. They offer two tables for seating inside and we were able to sit at one of them to eat our ice cream. $3.59 for a single scoop is really getting up there for ice cream. I had no idea that they had a 1.50 per scoop thing going on on the 31st of every month. And of course, we checked it out. The line wasn't too bad at this location. There was a girl at the door managing the amount of people that could go in and then 2 girls at the counter. We waited about 10-15 minutes and their service was awesome. Because it was 1.50, there wasn't much flavors left. But ice cream never disappoints. I got a double scoop (gold/chocolate and the peanut butter and banana chocolate). My bf has the gold chocolate and the green one with pop rocks). I'm not a fan of chocolate, but when it's with peanut butter.....ohhh myyy gooodddddd. Yummmm! Customer service here is horrible. Unfortunately my son wanted ice cream and this was the only ice cream shop in the area. Not quite sure what the employees problem was but she was rude to me as well as the woman before me. Why did you have to respond so rudely when the woman before was being assisted by your coworker? She thens coops my sons ice cream then scoops mine, why is my 2 scoops for my royale smaller than the one scoop for my son? Why am i being charged extra for a topping that is included with my order? If you were upset for working a holiday wouldnt it be your responsibility to request the time off rather than be so rude to the people walking in and enjoying their time together? What a way to ruin a nice family outing. Thank you but you obviously shouldn't work in customer service. read more
