Still as good as the very first time I tried it. Their coffee shakes are just so delicious. The ice cream is a hit with the kids. They are so creamy and flavorful. The line outside can be intimidating but the staff does a great job getting it to move along despite the many times they have to stop serving due to flavor test requests. The location is walkable from other nearby hotels as well not just the Hilton. Grab and go ice cream or drinks then enjoy them while walking around the village or the beach. I cannot visit this area without stopping by at least once.

The infamous Lappert's! I was told by at least 3 people who knew we were going to Hawaii and staying at the Hilton that we needed to check out Lappert's for ice cream! Lappert's is located at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu across the main lobby. My family and I visited Lappert's 3 out of the 4 nights we were there and it definitely lived up to the hype! On the first night, I ordered a scoop of Macadamia Nut ice cream which was so good. I shared the Uncle's Hot Fudge Sundae with my husband on the other 2 nights. My daughter tried the Ooey Gooey Pineapple Cake, Pineapple Sorbet and Banana Fudge and loved all 3 flavors. Not only do they offer some great flavors of ice cream, they also offer in house made waffle cones and bowls, cookies and large pieces of coffee cake and carrot cake. I believe I also saw Affogatos, different espresso drinks, milkshakes and Root Beer Floats on the menu - Chillers and smoothies too! I don't recall seeing seating inside of Lappert's, but being in Hawaii, my family loved grabbing ice cream to go and walking along the beach. The line was always out the door when we visited, but it moved quickly and staff is friendly! Check them out!

Create your own ice cream sundae: chocolate chip cookie dough, waffle cone, caramel, sprinkles, whip cream, and a cherry on top!

Fun Fact: Did you know that you can order an Ice Cream Party from Lapperts?? That's right! I'm talkin'... 30 freshly made waffle cones A commercial-size tub of ice cream (your choice of flavor- I highly recommend chocolate chip cookie dough) A pint of sprinkles Your choice of two toppings: nuts, hot fudge, caramel, strawberry sauce All for $160. Think kids' birthday party, holiday party, work event... I did a full mash up and hosted a holiday karaoke event for both of my sons' 1st and 2nd grade class. Oh my gosh... everyone LOVED it!! Even the parents came back for seconds! The ice cream is delicious all by itself. The toppings and waffle cones are a bonus. Remember Lapperts if you are an event planner. Parking is expensive in Waikiki so call ahead and run in to pick up the goods during the grace period. Enjoy!!

Are you in the mood for some ice cream? Well I was and Lappert's is a 6 min walk from the hotel I was staying at. At 8:15pm there was a line, but it moved quickly with 5 ladies scooping and serving ice cream. There's a variety of flavors to choose from. I went for the Pineapple Sorbet. One scoop of ice cream is $6.99. Add a waffle cone at $1.99. Next time I want to try the ooey gooey pineapple cake ice cream. YUMMY

Premium ice cream at its best. We decided to get the Can't decide option because that's an appropriate option when there's so many goid flavors, and its the best deal. 5 half scoops of ice cream in a waffle cone. There was not a line whenever we've stopped by, but there is usually one after dinner hours. Not sure about earlier because I don't pass by earlier in the day. There's a few seats to eat at, but I think its overlooked because you pay on the other side, and most customers are sitting on the bench or wall outside. They also serve do.e. asked goods, being that they open so early in the morning, and sell coffee as well. It's definitely the best ice cream around.

Creamy ice cream but might be too creamy as I found the milky cream flavor overwhelmed the original flavor of the ice cream. But the bits of Gooey Pineapple Cake that I do get were great. I sampled the passion fruit as well and found it ultra concentrated, similar to juice concentrate which was a bit much.

Soooo good! Their version of rocky road

Love stopping by LAPPERTS when we are at the Hilton. The ice cream is certainly the best. They also have sorbets. They even have Bakery items. Service is usually friendly. There are two tables in the parlor. One bench outside. Other than that, it would be through throughout the Hilton properties that you can find a place to sit.

Lappert's is located in the Rainbow Bazaar which is also located right across from the general check in area. They have a variety of ice cream flavors ranging from your usuals to more unique island flavors. They also have several pastries and coffee drinks. The staff was patient with us being first timers and was nice enough to recommend some popular flavors. This place usually stays busy but you might be lucky to catch them without a line periodically. I tried a dragon fruit one that was so good but opted for the Kauia pie. It had a Kona coffee base with count flakes, mac nuts, and I think fudge. Very nice to have this ice cream cafe spot on the property.

Google Maps recommended the macadamia nut ice cream, but I thought the caramel macadamia nut was much better! We actually ended up getting a cone with a scoop each of Auntie's (passion fruit) and pineapple coconut cake after sampling several other flavors. We'd go back again if we were in the area, this was so much better than many other ice cream shops!

Lots of flavor options. You're able to taste samples in order to pick the ones you like best. Line is long but moves pretty quickly.

A small, store front, with plenty of flavors. This place was packed when we arrived at 4:00pm. I got a double scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough and mini peanut butter cup, and fudge. It was tasty. My wife got the Kona coffee and the Kona lava Java double scoop waffle cone. Prices were about the same as other ice cream places, $25. Overall, a well deserved treat for the afternoon of rain.

We stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village and were looking to get our morning coffee fix. Instead of canned coffee at ABC stores or Starbucks, we stumbled upon Lappert's Hawaii which sells a variety of desserts but also coffee. I ordered their Caramel Macadamia Nut hu'i hu'I chillers and my other half got their matcha. We also got a regular croissant to go with the drinks. Their ice cream looks inviting, but it was a bit early for that. They have multiple flavors that sounds appetizing, Waimea Canyon, Ooey Gooey Pineapple Cake, and Oreo cookie crunch to name a few. The lines started to pick up after we ordered. Everyone coming down to get their morning coffee. Staff was quick to get orders in and out in a timely manner. The matcha was more on the sweeter side. Enjoyable if you like it sweet. If you prefer to have it more bitter, this may not be for you. The caramel mac nut chiller was pretty good. You can taste both after very sip. Caramel first then the mac nut afterwards. Croissant was warmed up for us. Flakey on the outside and soft on the inside. Nothing spectacular but a good snack to go with the drinks. With that, drinks were good. Staff are friendly and quick to make your orders. I'll have to come back to try out the ice cream that many other yelpers have raved about.

Highly recommended ice cream, dessert, and coffee shop in Waikīkī located within the Grand Hilton Hawaiian shops. We stayed at this hotel and I wish I got to at least try their coffee. I went one evening upon closing to finally try their ice cream. There was a long line that went by very quickly, they have both indoor and outdoor seating and the smell of the fresh waffle cones is quite attracting. I asked what the most popular flavors were and there were a ton. I got a split single scoop in a waffle cone. It was Oreo cookie crunch and caramel coconut macademia nut. I devoured my ice cream while walking back to my hotel room. It's right next to the parking garage so if you are coming or going to the beach, an event, or the luau here then you have somewhere to get a sweet treat!

It's the kind of spot you're most likely to discover while wandering in or out of Ginza Bairin, following a luxurious tonkatsu meal craving something cold and refreshing. The setup is refreshingly no-frills: medium styrofoam cups, flavors handwritten in Sharpie, and two separate freezers dividing ice cream and sorbet. The texture runs on the firmer side, which actually works in its favor -- your scoop holds up beautifully in the island heat and doesn't melt into a puddle five minutes later. Given the generous portions, you probably won't be refreezing leftovers anyway. The tropical fruit sorbets are the clear stars, made with fresh fruit and bursting with natural flavor. Mango, lychee, and guava taste vibrant and authentic -- bright, fragrant, and not overly sweet due to the natural acidity from using real fruit. Beyond the classics, there are some fun and unexpected options like corn cheese, durian, and avocado for the more adventurous palate. The standout for me, though, was the Kona coffee ice cream. It avoids the common trap of being cloyingly sweet and instead leans into a rich, dark, nutty undertone with an intense coffee essence that lingers in the best way. It feels grown-up and balanced -- deeply satisfying without overpowering. Whether you're looking for the perfect palate cleanser after tonkatsu or just want a cold treat while strolling through Waikiki, Henry's Place delivers simple, memorable scoops that taste like they're made with care.
