Love that it is literally on a corner in the Pearlridge downtown mall. They also have one on a corner at uptown. Cookies are baked at the uptown location. Not sure about downtown. Casual in the mall. It's a hit and miss with service. It's cookie corner and possibly 1st jobs for some. I'm sure the longer that they are there the more comfortable with helping customers. We all need to remember to be kind. I noticed a lady before me being sassy to the staff. read more

Out with a couple of friends for Nabe dinner at Ichiriki one said she wanted something sweet. So being the designated driver for this non drinking event I drove to the mall in search of whatever treat was needed to scratch that sweet itch for my friend. The great thing about a food court is everyone can get what they want....one for ice cream cone, one for a slice of pie, one for the Starbuck's half quart coffee drink but for me I'm the Cookie Corner Queen every time. Yes please, break out the box because I'm taking home a selection of cookies to make everyone happy. I got chocolate chip walnut cookies, plain chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies and the prize of the day and limited edition...Brownie cookie. Oh my that is an excellent cookie. Got home with the box and a half gallon of ice cold milk I stopped for on the way and was literally met at the door by four adults offer to help carry up the warm cookies and cold milk. What a fun ending to a fun outing with friends to sit around your table with family enjoying warm cookies and a glass of ice cold milk. Needed to buy a get well gift so why not buy it from my favorite go-to cookie place, right?! When I do, the people I buy this for loves it! The bad thing about coming here is that we love it too so I always buy cookies for my husband and myself which is a good thing for Cookie Corner because I spend double of what I would've spent if I only bought the gift...lol! Guess I haven't been here for a while because I don't remember the cookies being $18 a pound plus $1 more if you want it in a box. It's still worth it because it's so good! They also have new selections to choose from I haven't seen before which was a plus!! read more

I've been to many bakeries and cookie shops, but The Cookie Corner has always had a special place in my heart. I'm used to going to the Uptown location in Pearlridge, but if I'm ever on this side to go to a movie, I can't leave the complex without making a cookie run. Even though I have my tried-and-true favorites, I always check to see if there are seasonal flavors during the time of my visit. One of my favorite seasonal flavors is the peanut butter cookie with the Reese's candy in the middle - I always keep an eye out for that. I've ordered single cookies, as well as small boxes from The Cookie Corner, and the business never seems to disappoint. Even though the cookies seem to have shrunk over the years (and the price has gone up), their taste, texture and consistency have remained the same. And that's what keeps me coming back. Here are some of my favorite flavors: "M&M Cookie": This one is the largest of all the cookies, but I'm willing to pay the extra price. I love the buttery, chewy consistency, and this cookie comes loaded with plain chocolate M&Ms. I've always liked the plain M&Ms more than the peanut version, so I usually get at least one of these during a Cookie Corner run. "Peanut Butter and Chocolate": If I know I'm not going someplace hot where this cookie will melt, I'll get this flavor. I love how the cookie is fully peanut butter, but I thoroughly enjoy the part where half of it is dunked in chocolate. Again, though, I just am sure to eat this cookie in a cool place - I hate it when I have a melted, sticky, chocolate mess on my hands. "Brownie with Powdered Sugar": Once in a while, I'll deviate from my cookie order and get a brownie instead. I love soft, chewy and fudgy brownies ... and these definitely don't disappoint. They're rich and fudgy; definitely more brownie-like than cake like. I like the one with powdered sugar on top, or the brownie with chocolate chips. They don't skimp on the chocolate chips, which add some extra crunch and texture. "Chocolate Chip": Sometimes, all you need is a good, ol' chocolate chip cookie to make the day better. This cookie never fails me. It's loaded with chocolate chips, and I love how the texture is chewy yet crumbly once I bite into the cookie. I seriously can eat this smaller cookie in a few bites, but I relish every one. "Double Chocolate with Walnuts": Loving this flavor was somewhat of a recent thing for me, as I don't really like nuts. I do like the chocolatier flavor of this cookie, and the walnuts just come with the territory. Yet, I do like the added crunch and textures that the nuts bring to the table. read more

As a child whenever I came to Pearlridge and walked around, I smelled their wonderful chocolate chip cookie wafting in the air. Then I would ask my mom if I could have a cookie. Fast forward more than 20 years or so later, and that sweet cookie smell still gets me every time when I'm at the mall. They had me as soon as inhaled that chocolate chip smell. This location is on the ground floor of Uptown next to the pretzel place, near the center area of the mall where the escalators are. They also have some other things besides cookies, like bite size cookies in cups, cookie tins and fruit bars. Of course their main item is cookies. They have a bunch of different cookie flavors to choose from and you pay based on their weight. I bought two cookies and spent about $3 the last time I went. Some of my favorites are their Chinese almond and m&m cookies. This is the best Chinese almond cookies I've ever had! What I like the most is their cookie's consistency, not too hard or soft. Chocolate chip of course, is my favorite since they're not super crispy or soft. They have a nice homemade taste to that can't be replicated. I'm hoping I got the right Cookie Corner, the one next to Starbucks not the other one above longs. The Cookie Corner on the Macy's wing Pearlridge has the best service, smiles, professional, friendly, all around go t people. And you know what happens when staff provides excellent service, you just gotta buy way more cookies! Love dis store, can't walk past, gotta buy cause of the great people working here. I'm always disappointed when I get cookies here, but yet I keep trying. Compared to their other locations, their cookies are always hard. Like chips ahoy hard and crumbly. I suppose if thats the kind of thing you like, then this place is good for you. But for me, if I'm going to pay you close to $2 for a single cookie, I want it to give me that fresh homebaked feeling.... not baked 3 days ago and left out on the counter. read more

Because...cookies! What else is there to say?! The mall just opened and all the varieties of deliciousness are out in the showcases calling my name!! Fresh out of the oven, ready to be eaten, calling my name... Ok enough drama, Cookie Corner has been around for so long, you know that their cookies are nostalgic especially when you have your favorites. My fave is the Oatmeal Chocolate chip with walnuts. It's a mouthful to say, but so worth it! I meant to ask her name, but the employee that helped me with my purchase, asked if I follow CC on Insta, which I do of course, and reminded me of a Black Friday deal they had going on to last the weekend. I asked for a small cup of Choco chip bites, but any large cup of cookie bites were only $5! I opted for the big cup! I enjoyed their breads and I will definitely return. They probably have been in business for a long time, however this is my first time going and I will return for sure!

I ended up getting a slice of custard pie for my 2nd choice. The gal did show me the sign by the register of what pies are available for slice for that day, which wasn't a lot. Both pies tasted ok, nothing special. The banana cream had a few slices of real banana, which was nice. The pie crust was on the thick side and tasted pretty dry. It wasn't the best banana cream pie I've had .The custard pie was meh, didn't have a real good custardy taste and the crust was the same as the banana cream. Overall, the customer service was good and I probably will go elsewhere for pies.

Have a lot of pre-set items on the menu or you can build your own. My go-to is their #7 bc I like to have both mochi balls n' flan, while keeping the shave ice simple. Best eaten when you have a bit of flan + the shave ice to have the perfect balance of sweetness. If you eat the top part of the shave ice alone, you won't get the full sweetness. The flan, mochi, n' shave ice give all the textures. Definitely a great treat on a hot day!

If you order ala carte (not their set shave ices) the base shave ice is still $7, which is way too much in my opinion for the quality. Ice is not fine and syrups were nothing special. The other downside to this place is that there's no seating except for under the parking garage, which you have to walk a decent ways to. For the price, I would want tables / benches and maybe some shade.

My mouth is literally watering as I think about them. Staff is always friendly! The store is compact, just means a little crowded when stopping by with other people. Not bad! My personal favorite is the cookie butter cup of strawberries! You really get the most for your money with the cups, BUT there is appeal to the trays as well. You ARE looking at a bit of an expensive treat when shopping here, but honestly, the quality and quantity are worth it. Especially if you join the rewards program!

They also have delicious variety of cocktails and mocktails. Server was very nice and let us know to use our phones to scan the QR on table. You order from here and pay too. The server won't come to take your order. Not sure how this is handled if you have no phone. They may have menus and drinks written on chalkboard at bar or maybe request a paper menu. She brought us waters with a bottle to refill on our own, plates, cutlery and napkins. Drinks didn't take long and were deliciously concocted. We ordered chips with ahi dip- lots of dip and not enough chips but I'm sure if you asked for more they would acquiesce. Yummy and right flavor not too salty. Also onion rings which were large and plenty in the basket! You had choice of ranch dressing or brown mustard and we wanted to mix so she said no problem and brought them! Then we had to try the dessert flight which were three cute little prepared sweets of crème Brûlée, strawberry shortcake and a brownie with some type of custard on top. Yum! Place was clean, not too loud, and a restroom inside their place which was nice. All the servers were friendly, pleasant and made sure we had what we needed, clearing plates and glasses, keeping table clean. We really enjoyed powering up before power shopping so will return!

The Smash Burger was a thin miniscule piece of meat. The Smash comes with Sautéed Mushrooms and Carmelized Onoions. I had to send it back. There was two small slivers of onion and no apparent mushrooms. Server returned to let me know there was mushroom paste, but it says sautéed. Even after sending back my meal there was little change. Slightly more cooked - not caramelized - onions and a smear more mushroom paste. Over all food quality and presentation is poor at best. Descriptions are lacking information or out right deceptive. Prices are high, yet the quality and value are not reflected in the product. Overall the experience was disappointing. Over priced menu items. I would not recommend this establishment unless you are wanting craft beer. The selection of beers are limited.

Domo Cafe Pearl Kai was great, and the service really stood out…read more I came in kind of rushed before work and had ordered ahead, but I accidentally sent my order to the wrong location. I did not realize until I got there, so I thought I would probably have to buy the whole meal again. Instead, they were immediately understanding and told me it was okay. They just remade my order at this location and did not charge me again, even though the mistake was completely mine. I don't know what happened to the order at the other location. Since it was a common order maybe they waited to see if someone else ordered that? That kind of service really stands out. They definitely did not need to do that, and it made a big difference, especially since I was trying to eat quickly before going into work. Since they were already helping me out, I added a fried fish side, and it was really good. It was very crispy and came with a sweet and sour sauce that worked well with it. I also liked that the fish was local to Hawaii, which made the place feel even more worth supporting.

The roasted chicken - requires 20 minutes to prepare - gyoza (chicken or beef) and the orange chicken are deliciously delectable, and are my favorites. The fried noodles (no bacon is available) are the perfect accompaniment to the aforementioned entrees. Rice is also available. Chelsea is extraordinary at providing consistent superior customer service. She never fails to greet customers promptly and kindly. Chelsea wears many hats as the greeter, server, barista and overall front of house manager. It can be extremely busy, but Chelsea hustles and does her absolute best. So bring your appetite and a dose of patience. Online ordering is a great option. On your initial visit it may be difficult to find, but the discovery is well worth the hunt. It can be daunting to find the entrance, walk through a corridor and netting. But don't be deterred nor frustrated. I highly recommend trying the Sweet Corner Cafe. Say hello to Chelsea for me.
