Someone gifted me some goodies from here for Halloween. I got the chocolate caramel apple along with a mix boxed of treats. In the box were 2 cheesecake tarts, two chocolate dipped strawberries and a white chocolate covered Oreo. They were all so good. Some items were sweeter than others. My favorites were the chocolate dipped strawberries, especially the purple ube one. If you get a chance you should try that. I'm not sure if that is a regular item or if it was just for Halloween. read more

Fresh strawberries in a variety pack were fun. IMHO I don't find it worth the cost; the ingredients taste artificial. I'm not a huge fan of candy melts (or similar) as the coating. The caramel apples though!!! Sooooo ono!!! read more

Chocolate (and other flavors) covered strawberries and apples in Aiea, O'ahu, Hawaii... I had a generous gift card for Dipped by Dee - and I wanted to use it before I lost it or forgot about it. Luckily, Irene knew where the new location was - and she knew how the shop operated before this store. She told me that only premium produce is used... wow! I did see a location in Las Vegas, Nevada... maybe I'll go there because there was no line. Here, in Aiea, the line was long! I was discouraged, but Irene said that the line is usually longer and wrapped around the building! Yikes! This is a popular place! I decided on a mini box of Oreo strawberries and a mini box of Cookie butter strawberries. Gosh - they were quite good! I just didn't like standing in the sun and heat. Only 3 parties are allowed in the shop at a time. I snuck into the air-conditioning before it was my turn. I just didn't like standing up for so long in the humidity and finally sat on the bench while in line, but it faced the sun. With my back towards the sun, standing up actually was a better option. Inside, service was really pleasant and the decor was very cute! read more

I was really craving chocolate covered strawberries and knew that Dipped by Dee could satisfy my craving. I came here a little after opening on Sunday, and there was parking available in the lot. There are signs to pay for parking, but we didn't pay since we were in and out of the shop. The inside of the shop is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. They have a variety of dipped apples and covered strawberries/cheesecakes on display and a swinging strawberry chair. I got a five pack of the chocolate covered strawberries, as well as a cookie butter cheesecake. Both items satisfied my sweet tooth. They were a little on the pricier side, so this is a place to come to on occasion. They were having a special if you use your American Savings Bank card, so we took advantage of that. The worker was super friendly and helpful as we decided what to order. Would definitely recommend here if you need gifts for a special occasion or want to treat yourself! read more

Okay so this place is located in Aiea in a tiny plaza. The parking sucks but it's what it is. So this place is super tiny and they only let three parties at a time which is convenient so it's not super crowded. The service is fast and convenient. I ordered a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup and it is pretty cool watching the guy make it in front of you. So to me this place is overpriced but at the same time everything seems like it's made with love. This is one of those places where you come once and don't come back. That's my personal opinion. The Dubai strawberry cup is a diabetes overload, it is good but too sweet in my opinion. It's very filling too. I give this overall a 3.9/5. It's good if you love things super sweet and rich. I might come back and bring my kids. Who knows. read more

Cutest little sweet shop! Loved the strawberry hanging chair and the merch they had for sale. So happy we found this shop. The drip cups are yummy sweet and fresh. For sure eat them right away as the chocolate hardens. The strawberries were fresh and sweet. Love the options to personalize your sweet dip cups. I will have to go back on a Friday/Saturday/ Sunday so I can get the Dubai chocolate dip cups. Took 3 candy apples home and enjoyed them with the family. The apple was fresh and crisp! Fun toppings and they will even cut them for you for easy eating! The team members that served you are so helpful in picking out flavors and options. Come support and check this place out! read more

I received a Caramel Apple as a little birthday treat from my sister and the decorations were cute and funny. The apple itself tasted off with a bad sour taste, almost like it was a bad apple. I know it was a green apple, but it didn't give me that good sour apple taste. The chocolate coating (I'm pretty sure it was this over the actual caramel) gave me a weird chemical after taste along with the caramel. This was given to me within 15 minutes of my sister purchasing it and I also took my bite when it was given to me. read more

This was my very first time going to Dipped by Dee and honestly I was blown away. I always had bad luck and never had a chance to go to their previous location which was at Sand Island since I always seemed to have gone on a day they were closed or just bad timing in general. But I'm glad I finally got to try their berries and see what the hype was all about. Berries were made to perfection idk what they do to ittttt but it's AMAZZZINGGGGG. I've had my fair share of covered berries but nobody not even edible arrangements could compare to their establishment! It hit the spot and I'll definitely be back again!! It was a sweet treat and well deserved since I've been putting in work at the gym lol! read more

They are always giving free samples of their candy apples and there is so many flavors. I got the strawberry cups and it was really good. It's kind if pricey, but worth it once you taste it. Used to be located in Sand Island, now in Aiea. Love coming here for those sweet cravings. I'm basic, so my go to is always the chocolate covered strawberries. I love how every strawberry is huge to proportion & the chocolate covered is sweetened to perfection. My niece ordered the Dubai cup, and she loved it. She shared that every bite had some crunch in it and the size of it was just right to satisfy her cravings. Will def come by again! read more

I'm OBSESSED. This is my occasional sweet treat splurge spot! I love their variety throughout the seasons, and their strawberries are always SO fresh. My mouth is literally watering as I think about them. Staff is always friendly! The store is compact, just means a little crowded when stopping by with other people. Not bad! My personal favorite is the cookie butter cup of strawberries! You really get the most for your money with the cups, BUT there is appeal to the trays as well. You ARE looking at a bit of an expensive treat when shopping here, but honestly, the quality and quantity are worth it. Especially if you join the rewards program! read more

Tried the Dubai drip cup this weekend as it is only available to order on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and well... while it is good however, it was overwhelmingly too sweet. Everything here is so good! All items are pretty and great quality treats! Definitely a must try!! You won't be disappointed!!

Great customer service and cute looking shop! The lady was super friendly . But unfortunately the Dubai apples were not a hit . I hardly can taste the chocolate , pistachio sauce or the kaneffi . It may look like a Dubai chocolate apple but no taste of it . The Apple flavor outshine the taste. $16 price tag , not worth it . I also had the shortcake cheesecake. Unfortunately, I didn't like it either. Overpowering taste of graham cracker crust , lack of cheesecake and strawberry flavor. Presentation of the dessert is nice & social media pretty but not the taste. read more

Wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived, but I was pleasantly surprised! From what I remember, they offer apples, strawberries, and cheesecakes. Since it was my first time, the girl at the counter recommended the OG Sampler. Six different flavors for $18, which is perfect if you want to try a little bit of everything. She also suggested the strawberry shortcake cheesecake and the cookie butter cheesecake. Everything was absolutely delicious. I've never had strawberries like this before! My family and I finished the tray in no time and immediately went back to grab two more for later. They're definitely on the pricier side, but for good reason. If you're looking to treat yourself to something truly special, this is the place! My favorite strawberry flavors? Strawberry shortcake, cookie butter, and fruity pebbles. read more

My first time trying them at the foodiecon this past weekend. Everything looked very delicious and aesthetically pleasing. My kids and I were excited to try the candy apple. We decided to try the cotton candy one. Everyone enjoyed the apple and ate the whole thing. I would definitely like to try another one soon. ***The price for the apple alone was $13. What really made me disappointed was that they CHARGE YOU TO CUT THE APPLE. I was charged $1.25 to simply cut the apple I just paid for. I was very taken aback by this. They don't charge to cut a sandwich in half, why would you charge customers to cut an apple? Either way I ended up paying the fee. Please reconsider this charge. Overall they have quality products and taste very good. Would love to try another flavor next time. read more

It's been a while since I've had dipped by dee, was at foodie con the other day and the line was too long so I jumped in my car and drove to aiea and there was still a long line @4pm. I do have to say that despite waiting in line for 45 minutes to an hour, it was worth the wait! We ordered 2 dubai drip cups, 1 cookie butter cheesecake, 1 pack of dipped strawberries and 1 milk chocolate drip cup with oreo crumbs. Literally everything was delicious and despite waiting in line for a very long time... the workers came out to inform us they were going to wash and cut more strawberries for those still waiting in line. The dedication to finish the line outside is why I'm giving 5 stars! Now, the 6-pack of chocolate-dipped strawberries were at a discounted price, as they were from Saturday. This is a plus! However, today while my son was eating the remaining strawberries, he mentioned that he poked the inside of his mouth on what appeared to be the end of a skewer. Having worked in the food service industry for many years, I understand that occasional oversights can occur. That said, had he accidentally swallowed the object, the outcome could have been far more serious. I simply wish to bring attention to the possibility that, if skewers were used during the dipping process, one may have been inadvertently left with a sharp or exposed tip. read more

TOO OVERPRICED. We got the Dubai dip cups that they serve only on Friday-Sundays, as such the wait time into the store was roughly an hour. They only let 3 parties in at a time which may be the reason for this wait time. The Dubai Cups were $15 EACH. This consists of the price of a regular chocolate cup ~$9 and $3 for the pistachio cream and $3 for the Knafeh. Far too overpriced for a small cup if you ask me. The desserts tasted very good, strawberries were extremely juicy and they didn't hold back on the toppings so you got a crunch in every bite. However personally I cannot justify $15 for it. Inside the store there is no seating but the ambiance was cute with pink and strawberry decor. The desserts were also displayed nice. read more

I came to Dipped by Dee to pick up some Halloween goodies for some friends. I've never been there but I've heard such great things about them. Their location is very easy to find and it's in Aiea in a complex across the street from Times. I ordered what I wanted online. The online ordering process was very easy. It was nice to see the pictures and description of the items. All of it looked so good, it was hard to decide what to get. Pickup was fast but the parking is very scarce. I had to park in the adjacent lot with other businesses. It was okay because I just ran in and ran back out to my car. I got the Happy Halloween chocolate covered strawberries. There were six in a container and I ordered four sets. I made sure I got one for my family. We ate it for dessert just to give it a try. It was really good, super good. read more

I was so excited to go here because there are only 2 locations and I just so happen to be in Hawaii. When I walked into the store all I can smell is Fabuloso cleaning solution. I didn't think my apple would taste like it but I was wrong. I ordered the Dubai dipped apple and the s'mores apple. Both apples tasted like Fabuloso. They must've cleaned the chopping board with that and didn't rinse it good enough. I wasted almost $30 for 2 apples I couldn't eat without poisoning myself with cleaning solution.
