I'm OBSESSED. This is my occasional sweet treat splurge spot! I love their variety throughout the seasons, and their strawberries are always SO fresh. My mouth is literally watering as I think about them. Staff is always friendly! The store is compact, just means a little crowded when stopping by with other people. Not bad! My personal favorite is the cookie butter cup of strawberries! You really get the most for your money with the cups, BUT there is appeal to the trays as well. Someone gifted me some goodies from here for Halloween. I got the chocolate caramel apple along with a mix boxed of treats. In the box were 2 cheesecake tarts, two chocolate dipped strawberries and a white chocolate covered Oreo. They were all so good. Some items were sweeter than others. My favorites were the chocolate dipped strawberries, especially the purple ube one. If you get a chance you should try that. Chocolate (and other flavors) covered strawberries and apples in Aiea, O'ahu, Hawaii... I had a generous gift card for Dipped by Dee - and I wanted to use it before I lost it or forgot about it. Luckily, Irene knew where the new location was - and she knew how the shop operated before this store. She told me that only premium produce is used... wow! I did see a location in Las Vegas, Nevada... maybe I'll go there because there was no line. Here, in Aiea, the line was long! I was discouraged, but Irene said that the line is usually longer and wrapped around the building! Yikes! This is a popular place! I decided on a mini box of Oreo strawberries and a mini box of Cookie butter strawberries. Gosh - they were quite good! I just didn't like standing in the sun and heat. Only 3 parties are allowed in the shop at a time. I snuck into the air-conditioning before it was my turn. I just didn't like standing up for so long in the humidity and finally sat on the bench while in line, but it faced the sun. With my back towards the sun, standing up actually was a better option. I was really craving chocolate covered strawberries and knew that Dipped by Dee could satisfy my craving. I came here a little after opening on Sunday, and there was parking available in the lot. There are signs to pay for parking, but we didn't pay since we were in and out of the shop. The inside of the shop is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. They have a variety of dipped apples and covered strawberries/cheesecakes on display and a swinging strawberry chair. I got a five pack of the chocolate covered strawberries, as well as a cookie butter cheesecake. Both items satisfied my sweet tooth. They were a little on the pricier side, so this is a place to come to on occasion. They were having a special if you use your American Savings Bank card, so we took advantage of that. Okay so this place is located in Aiea in a tiny plaza. The parking sucks but it's what it is. So this place is super tiny and they only let three parties at a time which is convenient so it's not super crowded. The service is fast and convenient. I ordered a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup and it is pretty cool watching the guy make it in front of you. So to me this place is overpriced but at the same time everything seems like it's made with love. This is one of those places where you come once and don't come back. That's my personal opinion. The Dubai strawberry cup is a diabetes overload, it is good but too sweet in my opinion. It's very filling too. I give this overall a 3.9/5. It's good if you love things super sweet and rich. Cutest little sweet shop! Loved the strawberry hanging chair and the merch they had for sale. So happy we found this shop. The drip cups are yummy sweet and fresh. I received a Caramel Apple as a little birthday treat from my sister and the decorations were cute and funny. The apple itself tasted off with a bad sour taste, almost like it was a bad apple. I know it was a green apple, but it didn't give me that good sour apple taste. The chocolate coating (I'm pretty sure it was this over the actual caramel) gave me a weird chemical after taste along with the caramel. I always had bad luck and never had a chance to go to their previous location which was at Sand Island since I always seemed to have gone on a day they were closed or just bad timing in general. Love their drip cups which is their strawberries cup drizzled with milk chocolate or your choice of drizzle. Also I chose fruity pebbles topping. Great combo. For milk chocolate drizzle you should eat it right away because chocolate hardens. read more

Either way it was maybe 6:50pm-7pm he placed the order & it made it to my door step before 8pm. Convenient! A complete surprise! He is the sweetest. I was stoked. Specifically the cheesecake one. 8/10 However, the apple I was deeply craving or maybe having nostalgia for; for so long.. ruined my entire experience. Not only was the apple questionably sour (I love green apples I thought nothing of it so I (my dumbass) kept pulling & eating it without checking the stick until I already ate half the apple. I checked the stick and compared it to other chocolate dipped apple to make sure I wasn't tripping. Purely disappointed and disgusted I ingested this. I had no words. I'd been holding back sharing this review but I feel like I have to warn everyone who has food sensitivity or weak stomachs. Please quality check what's on your shelves or existing on the shelves for some time? Maybe find a way to label the day it was made & shelved for sale so you can track your batches shelf life. She also suggested the strawberry shortcake cheesecake and the cookie butter cheesecake. Everything was absolutely delicious. I've never had strawberries like this before! My family and I finished the tray in no time and immediately went back to grab two more for later. They're definitely on the pricier side, but for good reason. It's been a while since I've had dipped by dee, was at foodie con the other day and the line was too long so I jumped in my car and drove to aiea and there was still a long line @4pm. I do have to say that despite waiting in line for 45 minutes to an hour, it was worth the wait! We ordered 2 dubai drip cups, 1 cookie butter cheesecake, 1 pack of dipped strawberries and 1 milk chocolate drip cup with oreo crumbs. Literally everything was delicious and despite waiting in line for a very long time... the workers came out to inform us they were going to wash and cut more strawberries for those still waiting in line. The dedication to finish the line outside is why I'm giving 5 stars! Now, the 6-pack of chocolate-dipped strawberries were at a discounted price, as they were from Saturday. This is a plus! However, today while my son was eating the remaining strawberries, he mentioned that he poked the inside of his mouth on what appeared to be the end of a skewer. Having worked in the food service industry for many years, I understand that occasional oversights can occur. That said, had he accidentally swallowed the object, the outcome could have been far more serious. I simply wish to bring attention to the possibility that, if skewers were used during the dipping process, one may have been inadvertently left with a sharp or exposed tip. read more

TOO OVERPRICED. We got the Dubai dip cups that they serve only on Friday-Sundays, as such the wait time into the store was roughly an hour. They only let 3 parties in at a time which may be the reason for this wait time. The Dubai Cups were $15 EACH. This consists of the price of a regular chocolate cup ~$9 and $3 for the pistachio cream and $3 for the Knafeh. Far too overpriced for a small cup if you ask me. The desserts tasted very good, strawberries were extremely juicy and they didn't hold back on the toppings so you got a crunch in every bite. However personally I cannot justify $15 for it. Inside the store there is no seating but the ambiance was cute with pink and strawberry decor. The desserts were also displayed nice. read more

We decided to try the cotton candy one. Everyone enjoyed the apple and ate the whole thing. I would definitely like to try another one soon. ***The price for the apple alone was $13. What really made me disappointed was that they CHARGE YOU TO CUT THE APPLE. I was charged $1.25 to simply cut the apple I just paid for. I was very taken aback by this. They don't charge to cut a sandwich in half, why would you charge customers to cut an apple? Either way I ended up paying the fee. Please reconsider this charge. Their location is very easy to find and it's in Aiea in a complex across the street from Times. I ordered what I wanted online. The online ordering process was very easy. It was nice to see the pictures and description of the items. All of it looked so good, it was hard to decide what to get. Pickup was fast but the parking is very scarce. I had to park in the adjacent lot with other businesses. It was okay because I just ran in and ran back out to my car. I got the Happy Halloween chocolate covered strawberries. There were six in a container and I ordered four sets. I made sure I got one for my family. We ate it for dessert just to give it a try. It was really good, super good. read more

I was so excited to go here because there are only 2 locations and I just so happen to be in Hawaii. When I walked into the store all I can smell is Fabuloso cleaning solution. I didn't think my apple would taste like it but I was wrong. I ordered the Dubai dipped apple and the s'mores apple. Both apples tasted like Fabuloso. They must've cleaned the chopping board with that and didn't rinse it good enough. I wasted almost $30 for 2 apples I couldn't eat without poisoning myself with cleaning solution.
