I tried all the solutions on the internet with do this, do that, turn your phone off and wait 10 minutes, all nonsense and none of that worked. I did read that these phones have hardware/microphone issues and decided to have the microphone replaced. I found Fix It Now in Placentia and brought the phone in. No problem, he diagnosed it and agreed with the microphone swap. Two hours later, I returned and made a phone call. The new microphone solved the issue. My friends and customers could hear me loud and clear. So happy I didn't need a new expensive phone. For under $80, my phone was like new. He also cleaned all the ports, internal speakers and parts while the phone was open. Pretty happy with the outcome and experience.

He took the time to explain my options, answered all of my questions, and never tried to upsell me on anything I didn't need. That kind of integrity is hard to find these days. The repair was completed quickly, professionally, and at a fair price. My device works perfectly, and I left feeling confident that I had been treated with honesty and respect. If you need any type of phone, tablet, computer, or electronics repair, I highly recommend checking with Gio first. Before you go anywhere else, take a look at the full list of services he offers--you may be surprised by everything he can repair. Back story: I was apprehensive after going to a bunch of other places for my own phone. Jeff is honest, he is the only repair place that had opened and tried things before a quick repair to my own phone. Current situation: Well, it was a no brainer to bring my kiddos phone to One Stop when it was stolen, returned, and extremely damaged. So badly damaged that the phone had poked holes in it. One Stop gave us a 5-star service. He walked us through other options. Held on to the phone for us while we made a decision of whether to repair or purchase a new phone. I'm so glad we went the repair route. It was a money saver, and the phone is in better condition then before the damage. Jeff, thank you for a great job. I will recommend you to all my friends and family. God bless you man.

Extremely poor communication and a complete waste of my time. (2 weeks for nothing)…read more I dropped off my water-damaged iPhone on a Monday. The employee at the front told me they would perform a free diagnostic, that it would take about one hour, and that they would call me with the results. Nobody called. I called the following day and spoke with another employee, whose name I believe was Xue. She told me the phone was a total loss and would cost more to repair than to replace. I asked whether they could at least recover my photos and files because they were not backed up to iCloud. She said yes, quoted me $150-$200, and told me it would take two to three days. Since this was Tuesday, I expected it to be completed by Friday. Again, nobody called. I called on Saturday, and the same guy who took my phone answered and told me the technician still needed to inspect the damage and that it would take another two to three days. This made no sense because I had already been told the phone had been diagnosed and that my data recovery would be completed by Friday. After receiving no updates the following week, I went to the store on Thursday to get my phone back and stop wasting my time. The guy then told me they were still performing diagnostics and that my phone's motherboard had been sent to their headquarters. He said I could take the phone without the motherboard if I did not want to wait. How was I supposed to recover my files without the motherboard when recovering my data was the entire reason I left the phone with them? I told him I wanted my phone returned complete and in the same condition in which I had given it to them. He promised it would be ready the following day before 3:00 p.m. I returned on Friday and finally picked it up. In the end, they kept my phone for two weeks, recovered none of my data, repeatedly failed to call me, and missed every deadline they gave me. Save yourself the frustration and take your device to another repair shop. This was a complete waste of two weeks.

I left this review on google review but I decided to share here as well:…read more We came to the mall and dropped off my 16-year-old cousin at this phone repair shop while we parked so he could get his phone fixed. This was nearly the 10th time we've had to come back for the same recurring issue. Almost every time, something as simple as turning in the car seems to cause the phone to stop working again. It's not even the glass that's the problem, but the quality of the repair itself. This time, the employee asked my 16-year-old cousin how much money he had. When my cousin said $60, the employee quoted him $100, then said he would do it for $60. Keep in mind, we have repeatedly paid only $20 for this same recurring issue in the past. That immediately raised red flags. The situation got even worse when the employee demanded receipts, despite the fact that we had paid cash during previous visits and were never given receipts. He then refused to return my cousin's phone until we paid. We had to get mall security involved before the situation was resolved. Honestly, this experience was extremely concerning. We have repeatedly returned because the repairs never seem to last, and now we've had to deal with questionable pricing and an employee refusing to return a teenager's phone. It makes us question the quality of their work and how they treat customers, especially younger ones. I would strongly caution anyone considering this shop. Based on our repeated experiences, I'm concerned that the repairs may not be addressing the underlying issue, leaving customers to come back again and again. Between the recurring problems, inconsistent pricing, lack of receipts, and the way my 16-year-old cousin was treated, we will not be trusting this shop again. Save yourself the frustration and consider taking your phone somewhere more reliable and transparent.

I eventually took my phone to the Apple Store, where the technician immediately pointed out that the screen had been improperly installed, including visible gaps around the display, and explained that the repair should not have passed quality standards.
