Came in after work to fix my broken iPhone screen because they advertised a less expensive option than some other places I checked. I spoke on the phone to the GM Luci and she explained the process and made some recommendations. I definitely made the right choice going with them! Melanie was able to fix it while I shopped and did a perfect job. She even patiently waited while I double checked her work to make sure I didn't have any issues with the Touch ID. Terribly rude, what a joke. Would not help copy 4 sheets of paper from usb because they were "backed up." AND would not take on any more jobs. There were 2 other employees male/female standing talking/ joking with each other, did not seem to be doing any thing productive... I suggested she ask for their assistance of course she refused. It should be said, I called the store prior to driving there inquiring about copy center busines hours AND that I would be coming to have copies made! Unbelievable! read more

I lost my USB device after making printed copies there and was in a frenzy. I call staples and was told "We have it!". I verified folders on it and got a "Yep!". The store on YL Blvd is the best I have had the pleasure to shop at. The people there are the best at customer service. I will continue to be customer for life. read more

The worst customer service. They sold me a used ink cartridge and I didn't realize it until we got home. Drive straight back to the store and they wouldn't help me because they just closed (everyone was still there even the cashier that rang up the transaction). Now I have to go back again! read more

Great experience this morning. Wanted to print a baby picture of my grandson but I didn't know how to even begin. Brian was working in the copy center and patiently showed me how to email photo to the store and then get code/scan code from my email. Voila! Easy peezy. (He was kind and calm even though an alarm was beeping-apparently before I arrived the fire truck had been there checking a gas leak and the alarm was sounding in the background as the gas company worked). Came in to purchase an item... I wanted to take advantage of their price match policy and I got a bit annoyed when they gave me attitude and tried to tell me it does not work. Even after I showed them the policy on the Staples website, they weren't convinced. Seriously, screw this Staples. The prices are never as advertised (I just bought a pack of sharpies that were advertised on sale for $4, they rung up as $7 and yes, I checked the sku numbers). Just yesterday I bought some pencil sharpeners on sale...come in today, they are full price now. Why change the deals on a Tuesday? Good grief. Only giving 1 star because I had to rate them. Carolyn at the Copy/Print center deserves a promotion and a raise. She helped several people, while requesting help from managers to fix her POS system (no response). It took 4p minutes for me to be able to drop off my documents to shred. After 20 minutes I requested to talk to a manager. FINALLY had someone come over to help, basically told me that the 1 customer he was helping had a procedure of doing things. I don't care if it is the President, respond to your employee and don't leave her hanging. read more

Can I just share about a horrible experience I had at the Staples in Brea which is poorly managed by Joana. The start of my visit was not great and only went down hill. I requested help finding something and instead of the sales associate assisting me, he simply pointed to an aisle and stated "it's on the end". Ok, not too awful, but not the type of service I typically expect when I am problem solving. Upon returning home I realized I left something behind either at the check out counter or in the cart. After being on hold for nearly 5 minutes Joana answers the phone and was pleasant enough. I explained my situation and asked that she check both the counter and the cart, which I had left at the front door. After a couple of minutes she returned and told me nothing was found. Did you check the cart I asked. Yep, all carts have been brought in, nothing was found. Not believing her I decided to drive back to the store. Not only were the carts not rounded up (there were about 15 in the parking lot) I see my item that I left behind in the cart parked right by the front door! Why would Joana lie about checking for my item? It was clearly visible, I believe she simply put me on hold and never checked for my lost item. Why would someone ignore such a simple request from a loyal customer? I had to ask her. Of course she lied to my face and said she checked, that the carts were checked, blah, blah, blah. What is bothersome is the blatant lies. This explains the lackadaisical attitude of the sales associates. Why would I give my hard earned money to a company who does not care about its customers? I plan to NEVER step in that store again and will be making all my purchases at an establishment that cares about its customers. Shame on you Joana! If I had believed you and not come back to look for myself I would have been out a $100 item! read more

This is one of the Staples where most of their staff are nice and helpful. It is a smaller store compared to the one on Beach and Imperial, but they have most of the items in store. read more

Literally wasted an hour and a half trying to get the prints I ordered. Once I finally got them it was apparent my toaster could do a better job. Also, got scolded for not having a penny at checkout. Go somewhere else. read more

The store is like shopping outside. They never have the air conditioning on. The boys don't offer help to take items to your car. So hot in here. When we go shopping it's nice to feel comfortable not all sweaty shopping. read more

Come here for all the office needs. Always get what I'm looking for only con is the pricing , target or Walmart are cheaper but it's quicker to get things at staples. Always get a chuckle when they try to say hi when u enter from where ever they are and think its service. read more

I ordered a service at the print counter and was charged $2.39 for "Express Guarantee" without telling me. When I got home and saw the charge, I called Staples Customer Service number to ask what it is and the Rep who answered was so rude that I just decided to forget about the $2.39 charge because it is not worth it. I guess the employees were not well trained or pressured into shady practice to make extra profit. So sad. read more

I love the employees at this staples! They are always upbeat and super helpful. The young lady with brown long curly hair has always been very friendly and super nice! I'm in medical school so I have so many items that I have to buy and always choose to come here. It's less of a head ache than going to many other places. read more

Absolute worst advice/service, won't step foot in that store again! Went in for ink for a brother printer that i bought a year ago. I find out that Brother wants you to order online so Staples doesn't stock even half, so employee sais "Your printer must be old" and all of that ink is online. However he sais if you order it today it will be delivered tomorrow at your home, oh and btw you will need to be there to SIGN FOR IT!!! O.k i say to myself i'll work from home...ink doesn't arrive. Call the next day and they tell me that it will for sure be delivered that day? Well nobody will be home that day i told them? Customer service replies with, "why didnt you have it delivered to the store and pick it up a couple hours later"? This wasn't a choice that i was aware of until now....needless to say that the help at the store are clueless and useless...won't be going back to a staples any time soon!!!!! read more

I come here often to buy my supplies. One day my computer broke and I decided to take it there to get it fixed. The service department was outstanding, helpful, and sincere. I couldn't have been happier with them. I almost tried the Geek Squad but had heard not so favorable things about them so I choose Staples instead. It was the right choice. read more
