I came in with my family on a Saturday. They were pretty busy, per usual. We asked to sit with our favorite server (Charlotte) but her section was full. No big deal, we thought, until we were greeted by a very aggressive, and obviously stressed out Lilly. We all felt uncomfortable with her level of stress. She snapped at us several times during our visit, and made some interesting comments. She made a joke about her casual drug use, right next to our table. I was mortified to explain to my grandma that people use Ketamine to get high. Not the family vibe I was hoping for. We'll miss this place. read more

Definitely a go-to brunch place. Great Amount. Good food. The servers are very nice and helpful in choosing dishes. The amount of food was great. the outdoor sitting arrangement is very picturesque. read more

Zero stars for sure!!!! First off, the girls working there NEED a manager; they set a table, placed menus and then came over to "seat" us by pointing to the table across the restaurant and said "go sit over there and someone will be with you soon". 10+ minutes in a girl came and put waters on our table and said she would "get to us when she can" (I mean, WTF). We sat for another 15+ mins. In the meantime, 3 other tables were sat and they were immediately asked if they wanted coffee or anything else... I had to get up to find our server and ask for her to bring my mom a cup of coffee. When I said we were ready to order she said she was so busy and would get to us when she could. So unprofessional!!! Being from Atherton, I honestly understand why the Redwood City location ended up going under. I promise that I will do everything I can to make sure no one goes to a Squeeze In again and risk having the same experience we did. The girl ended up moving us to a different table, and we still weren't served. We ended up walking out. I will make it a point that the owners find out about this and I will update this review on how they handled it... however, with the way they allow their restaurants to be run, I don't expect much. read more

Great service and great food! Love the environment too! He outdoor eating is also very nice.

Squeeze has actually improved a bit. The food was always good but there was always a lack of coordination in the service because there were too many people (customers) waiting. They always felt rushed and the place always felt crowded. Yet there was always a wait to be served. They seem to have straightened those problems out with the help of some technology and seem to have streamlined their service so that there are not the congested lines there used to be and the good food (which it usually is) gets to the customer more quickly. They have expanded their breakfast cocktails options, too, and while those offerings are quite limited they are also very appropriate. The menu remains extremely varied but the quality now always seems good. The place is eclectic and fun. read more

I'm giving the squeeze in 1 point. Since they put a "squeeze " on our sitting time! Soon as we set down they were asking us to order!!! Had no time to look at the menu. It's Easter 2021 and my first time eating there. The waiter was SUPER RUDE BEGINNING TO THE END! After we call him out on it. Just to let you know I'm "blk and he was Latino" I will recommend this place and they used the word "Usually " this does not happen! Well Usually this happens to minorities!!!FU read more

June 19, 2011 Sunday - breakfast 10:45 AM 2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 child Atmosphere - 5 stars Food - 5 stars Service - 5 stars Atmosphere - Walls are just covered in comments and remarks from other dinners, and now from us too. Our waitress provided us with some colorful Sharpies when there was a delay with our order, which I did not notice. Food Appetizer - none. Main Course - I went with The Spanish Flay, an omelet the Bobby Flay cooked during for the show Throwdown with Bobby Flay. I loved it. I went with the cheese sauce for the potatoes, added a nice taste to them. I can not wait to wait to go back try some more omelets and other breakfast items. Dessert - none ordered. Service - I have to say they exceeded at this, every employee we dealt with was friendly, polite and typically funny. read more

3.5 stars. Would be 4 stars if our orders weren't mixed up. I've got a lot of say about my first (and only) experience at Squeeze In, so bear with me! Four of us arrived for breakfast around noon on a Sunday. There was about a 25 minute wait, but the time went by fast since I was reading up on the menu. Squeeze In has a lot to offer and so many of the dishes sounded so good. I was entertained reading all the quirkey names of the breakfast items and figuring out what I wanted to order. Since I am not a huge fan of omelettes, I settled on the GARTH BREAKFAST SANDWICH - Scrambled eggs with melted cheddar and choice of ham, bacon, sausage or fat-free turkey breast on grilled sourdough, served with spudz. I ordered my sandwich with ham and when the server asked if i wanted my "spudz" to be "OTIS style" (with melted cheese and grilled onions), i declined at the effort to keep my New Year's resolution of eating healthier. Me and my friend Michael Paul C. got our food well before our other two breakfast buddies. Fifteen minutes later, everyone at the table had a plate in front of them. At first sight, i noticed that my spudz were Otis style when i clearly said i did not want them that way. That mistake didn't really bug me since the potatoes looked so darn good, i decided to just chow down. Right as i sunk my teeth into my sandwich, i noticed that it was bacon i was eating and not ham. I'm a fan of bacon, so i wasn't too irked by mistake #2. A couple minutes pass by and our server comes by to double check if i ordered ham or bacon w/ my breakfast sandwich, at which point i replied "ham." She apologized profusely for the mix-up (our orders were switched with an adjacent table's). Despite the confusion, I was actually enjoying my food so no worries there. Now down to the part where someone actually got ticked off. One of my breakfast buddies is a vegetarian. He ordered the SPANISH FLAY omelette (yes, named after Bobby Flay's omelette in the Throwdown challenge that beat Squeeze In's Racy Tracy omelette) and my other friend ordered the same dish, EXCEPT with sausage added. When they finally got their food, i had a strange feeling maybe they would suffer the same fate as i did, so i told my veggie-tarian friend to check if his omelette had meat in it. He kinda poked around at it and decided it was safe to eat. WRONG. He started chewing and noticed he had sausage in his mouth. He was PO'ed. His omelette got switched with my other friend's sausage spanish flay omelette. At this point, the manager came over and was going to give us 2 vouchers for free food (see photo) for our next visit. These vouchers were for MY mix-up, not the spanish flay omelette mix up. But because of the royal screw up on their part, our whole meal was comp'ed on top of the 2 free vouchers we got. We really APPRECIATED their effort to compensate us for their mistakes. We ordered a ton of food too: 3 OJs, one diet pepsi, 2 spanish flay omlettes, one racy tracy omelette, a garth breakfast sandwich, and since we're super fatties the Queen Victwa (cream cheese stuffed french toast) to share. I think our check would have come out to be around $70, but the whole entire meal was F-R-E-E, FREEEEEE! The cheap Asian inside me was rejoicing. Overall, the food is pretty good! I really enjoyed my breakfast sandwich and the Otis style potatoes were delicious! Yea, the prices are a little high, but you get A LOT of food. I ended up making 2 meals out of what i ordered - not bad for a $9.79 dish. I will return here to give this place another try because the food was quite good and they really did go above and beyond to apologize for their mistakes - now that's service! read more

not forgotten : Although shorthanded cuz life just happens, the staff at this location made every effort to accommodate my party of 7 (three out of towners included). Went with a group of four and had to wait about 40 minutes for a table. But hey, it was a Sunday morning and it was to be expected. Prices are a little high for your average breakfast joint. However, if you love omelets you will love this place! A quirky little thing about them is that they have unlimited toast. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food and it came out to about $70 for the four of us. Food was good enough that I will return, but I can't say that I LOVE it. I had french toast with eggs potatoes and fruit while the other three people at my table enjoyed omelets. With each omelet it came with your choice of sauce, I know there was a mushroom cream one of some sort but I don't recall the other options. I'm not an omelet person so it really didn't matter all that much to me ;) read more

Outstanding service. Every time we go we enjoy every part about the people the place the food!

A fun and eclectic place for breakfast. Seems Food Network's "Throwdown" has been here. Curious how that went. Breakfast was very good. The Sarge is their pastrami omelette. The world needs more pastrami omelettes. I prefer traditional style omelettes, folded over, bursting with filling. Here the omelettes are a blanket over the filling. Definitely could have used more pastrami. The homemade biscuits are amazing, light, and delicious. The country gravy is standard fare, floury gravy..if you are a fan of great country gravy..pass on that one. I can't wait to return and try their other unique/odd offerings. I didn't make it thru the menu and after ordering found a dozen other promising options. read more

This is an amazing place for breakfast/brunch. The menu is extensive and unique, and it will take me many more visits to try everything that looks good. The Racy Tracy omelette I had this morning was delicious, stuffed with bacon, mushrooms, and jack cheese. It was topped with a prodigious amount of avocado, with a huge side of well-browned home fries/potatoes, and your choice of sauces on the side. Toast comes with, but I subbed a buttermilk pancake for no upcharge, and it was just as good as it looked. The glass of OJ was huge--I easily shared with my kiddo rather than ordering two. A perfect breakfast, and enough leftovers for a quick take to work breakfast tomorrow. I'm so full I can barely type this review. This place is also extremely kid-friendly, with buckets of toys for the table and plenty of high chairs. The kids' menu has more choices than most places, and adult portions are so huge that I could easily feed a child from my plate also. My toddler had the teddy bear-shaped pancake (complete with fruit face) and loved it. Finally, the service is friendly, efficient, and charming. read more

Squeeze In - On the outdoor patio, with canopy and umbrellas. Perfect breakfast spot. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Reno, Nevada

This was my first visit, which I'm embarrassed to admit since this place has been here for a while. My first impressions of this place is that it's bright, cheery and has a creative atmosphere. I typically find myself at traditional breakfast houses (places where you can't write on the walls) but I felt like my inner child was connecting here and I liked it. I ordered the "chadillac" omelette which was mushrooms, spinach and cheese. I adored the spinach and mushroom combo in this omelette, the portions were rather large. The only thing I didn't like was the amount of cheese in it. I really like cheese and I eat it everyday, but every bite of this omelette required me to wrestle the cheese stringing from the plate to my fork or mouth. I didn't enjoy that part so much. The potatoes while cooked, were oddly firm still. They weren't crunchy, but they were close. I will mention that I thought the service was perfect. Everyone seemed cheerful and was quick to get the coffee (and provide refills). Overall the service was on point. Although I appreciated the service and atmosphere, I won't be back for the breakfast. It's not that the food was bad, it's just that it's not for me. I will come back to try the lunch, so repeat business is still in the future. read more

PHOTOS UPLOADED We went there on Valentine's Day weekend and waited for about 35 minutes. I am still in shock how busy they were. The place was not very big so it took longer than it really should. They owners are marketing geniuses. They are equipped with website, loyalty program, and active on Yelp! PROS: ~ Holy Crab $21.99 Loads of Alaskan crab. Very tasty. ~ Racy Tracy $12.99 Bacon, avocado, mushrooms and jack cheese. Fluffy and flavorful. Just melts in your mouth. ~ Sauces. I love the mushroom sauce $1.49 ~ Friendly people. They were efficient in making sure our cups were filled and articulate about explaining the menu. ~ Fun place for our toddler. They placed a small bin of toys on our table to keep our toddler occupied. CONS: ~ The OCD in me wants to organize and redecorate the place. It's like a garage sale gone bad. ~ EXPENSIVE for a breakfast joint! Seriously! Why charge $1.49 for mushroom sauce if I am already paying $21.99 for Holy Crab and $12.99 for Racy Tracy?! ~ It took forever to get our bill. I decided to go up to the cashier and paid there. ~ Waited 35 minutes to be seated, and then another 20 minutes to get our food. If you do not like waiting, this is not the place to be. If you love omelet, this is the place to be. Prepare to wait and pay a bit more for extra ordinary omelets. I am giving it four stars because the food is good. read more

Very disappointed. The omlette I ordered was not even really an omlette, it was an egg patty folded around some ingredients. The food was only lukewarm which made me think it had sat under a heatlamp for some time. And if this place prides theirselves on ingredients they should make sure they get it right. Mine was missing one that was listed in the menu for what I ordered. Additionally, the place was really busy and took a while to get a seat. This was on a weekday, no less. I found out the hard way, its not worth the wait. I won't go back, there are many other places in town that come to mind that are better for breakfast than this. read more

To start, the good: Omelets are amazing and innovative, side of fruit rather than potatoes is generous, kids meal portions also are generous, the employees are always prompt, intelligent, and friendly. Coffee and juice can be spiked in numerous ways. What I'm not liking so much: The random charges for small things like an extra plate or fruit substitution. I've had to wait for a table for 20+ minutes on random weekdays. People who come here with me often feel the need to order something that's not an omelet. If they want french toast, a benedict, or sandwich, they should've gone to pegs. This place generally has good food, but not much "change your life amazingly delicious" food. Most of the omelets are very good. I've had a few that look good on the menu, but are ultimately disappointing. I would suggest getting anything with cream cheese if you're at all undecided. I've started to come only when I get a $10 coupon from Costco or in the mail. Helps cushion that heavy bill, especially on days when people are a little disappointed with their food selection. read more

Yum. Good food, large portions. Reasonably priced. I had the quintana roo, sausage, eggs, and French toast.the eggs were perfectly cooked over easy, sausage was 5 pieces and awesome. The French toast was yummy, with cinnamon butter and powdered sugar. No complaints here. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. Even though it was really busy (Sunday morning) they turned over tables fast. We were only waiting for a table for about 5 minutes. The decor is really cool. Just like the other locations in sparks and truckee, very unique. read more

We came here for breakfast on a Thursday morning - the restaurant only had maybe 3 other tables of customers so we were told we could sit wherever we wanted. Someone bought us coffee and menus but nobody returned to take our order. The waitress who sat us came by with some more coffee and we told her that we were ready to order and she said someone would be right back but we ended up waiting another 10 minutes before getting someone else's attention who was able to take our order. I had the "Rednecker" breakfast which consisted of eggs, sausage, home fries, and toast. Not sure why it was named that way -in my book at true"red neck" breakfast would be a fried egg sandwich, beer, and a cigarette. The food was good and the atmosphere is fun but the disappointing lack of attention by the wait staff means that we probably wont be back read more

We came here for brunch and it was a cute homey place with awesome food. There's a lot of choices and we went with the chorizo Benedict and the pancake combo with eggs and sausage. I was able to switch the regular pancakes for the special pumpkin pancakes. It was SO good. Made with pumpkin pie with their pumpkin batter. If you love pumpkin, definitely order this. The Benedict's were also very good. Our waitress was also very friendly. We came a little late but they didn't make us feel rushed at all. read more

This place was recommended to me by a coworker and omg, this place does not disappoint. I do have to admit... the menu is somewhat overwhelming only because you have a TON of GOOD options! I ordered the Greek Scramble, amaze! I love feta cheese, actually I just love cheese in general. Make sure to ask for the red pesto sauce, bomb.com. I wish I was with a larger crowd so I could share/try the strawberry cream cheese filled french toast but the portions at this place are very generous so there was no way I could stomach another dish. Second time at a squeeze in, first time at this location. My husband and I went in for lunch today and just wanted to say how awesome this place is! Customer service was on point, we were not just helped by one person but everyone in the restaurant. Our waitress Erin was super sweet (I apologize to the other hostess/waitress and 2 guys who had helped us too) but as she took our order told us her name and that they all work together. My husband and I will definitely be back to this location for sure! *bloody Mary's are awesome too! Thank you for being friendly and nice!! We will see y'all soon. read more

Wow this was disappointing. Went in early for breakfast, was one of two guests and they still got my order wrong. Not only that but they did not even give me the correct change upon leaving shorting me about 50 cents which is not really a big deal just not professional and that should have been there tip. The biscuits and gravy were so bland it was like eating wet cardboard and even the sausage on the side (not sure there was even any in the gravy) was bland. Way too expensive for bad greasy spoon food and will not be going back any time soon. read more

Apparently one should ALWAYS ask how much a glass of OJ is gonna be before ordering it. I've paid less in the past for juice with booze in it So my almost $5 meal turned into a $15 meal because I got coffee and OJ. And the photo of the potatoes is what I didn't eat because they were so undercooked they were still crunchy. Like raw crunchy. Everything needed salt desperately. Salt is flavor, y'all. Plus side and why I still gave some starts is the environment is great and the staff is super friendly and professional. My waitress was awesome and very nice. read more

The server girl with a mullet looking cut and shorts, wasn't very pleasant to be around. We told her we were ready to order and she took about 13mins to get back to us. I saw her make 1 drink for another table & the rest of the time she was talking to her coworkers and an older man sitting at a table by the fridge where she had made the drink. She didn't check on us not even once after getting our food served by other workers. Didn't leave a tip because I've worked tip jobs before and i earn my tips by being friendly and doing the basic role of working in food/customer service. Very displeased with her. read more

My husband and I have some friends who live near here and we like to go to events and activities at Rancho San Rafael park sometimes and that puts us in the vicinity to stop by our favorite place for breakfast. We've eaten at a couple other Squeeze In locations and they're nice, but the consistent quality of the food and service puts this location at the top for us. The twice baked scramble, Quintana Foo and Jack Johnson pancakes are so entrenched in my rotation that I rarely try anything else. My husband gets all different assortments of omelettes and is usually raving about the quality of the ingredients. Timing is everything and the wait can be a bummer sometimes, but it's almost always worth it! The staff is extremely pleasant and very helpful on the rare occasions of an issue.
