I think the biggest problem that I had here was that they asked my friends if they wanted ranch but didn't tell them it cost extra. So everyone got sides of ranch and were promptly charged. The omelette I ate was the Greek one with olives and feta, and the surrounding egg was tough and thick. I did not enjoy the flavor combinations and the egg was not good. They were able to get a spot soon after arriving and we sat at a booth by a window, allowing us to look our at the patio without sitting in the heat. The interior is bright and fun, with vibrant colors all around. The staff was extremely friendly and the menu had so many options that it was hard to pick just one item. I had the Traditional Eggs Benedict with Spuds (house potatoes). The total bill for this plate was $15.09. While I loved the eggs Benedict, the potatoes were pretty plain and I had to season them heavily in salt and pepper (& ketchup). I did notice a mimosa was less than $7 so that's something I want to come back for! read more

I get it, we've all worked in restaurants, I know this you know that. It doesn't matter. I came here this morning with my parents, we were greeted by someone immediately. She sat us down and then a gentlemen came up and took our coffee order. As "we" (my parents) spent time deciding want we wanted, nobody bothered us. Within seconds of menus closed a third employee came up and asked us what we wanted to order. We ordered, food was very quick(Wed at 10amish) and we ate. Food was delicious, servings were huge, my mom just had eggs with a side, my dad and I order bigger portions, we each at half and took it to go. I just ate the leftovers for dinner, probably the best ever leftovers dinner in my life. Grew up in Motown, had this place existed when I lived there would have gone all the time. Makes me want to try the Bloody Mary. Also, the sunglasses chain by the host stand, which appears to be sunglasses people have left there, is amazing and helped me to remember mine. A small little breakfast spot. If it was a good day, it would have been nice to sit outside at their patio. Inside is a little small, but the food portions are definitely big. Because the place was small, I felt like all the servers at one point came to check on our table to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. I have to mention that every time I pass by there are always crowds waiting. So it was nice that we got there on a good day with no crowds and got seated right away. I don't like the cheese version either. They don't have sweeteners (like packets of sweet n' low and Splenda). That's kind of inconvenient but I also usually have my own because I may be 30 but I'm always prepared for the zombie apocalypse. It is kind of spendy for high grade diner food but I'm here for it. Yuck. Menu looked great so I was excited to try it. We did a work lunch and we all ordered something. I ordered the Chilaquiles. I was so dissapointed. It was $16... $15 with an extra $1 for a few jalapeño slices... lame. The food was bad. The "chips" were completely soaked and mushy. So much so my fork wouldn't even pick some of them up. Just kinda mushed. The tofu was hard as a rock. My coworkers were laughing because I literally threw a piece on the table and it sounded like a rock. They were gross. I was starving so I scraped all the black beans and tomato and avocado off into a corner and piled the "chips" and tofu into the lid so I could eat SOMETHING. Even that wasn't good. Completely bland. I had maybe 3/4 cup worth of beans and avocado for lunch after spending $16. My coworkers were also very disappointed. They said the food was bland, cold, tasteless, etc. We will not be going again.
