If you are staying at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani, please do yourself a favor and order some food from the Splash Bar! Splash Bar is the pool bar/restaurant inside the hotel. Frankly from the outside it might not look like much but their food is outstanding! I stayed at that hotel for almost three weeks and I can tell you that some of the favorite food I had during my trip was from this pool bar. If you are there for breakfast, please do yourself a favor and order the Special Breakfast Sandwich. This is a massive breakfast sandwich with bacon, fried egg, cheese, smoked ham and pesto mayo in a brioche bun. It is heaven on a plate and the most delicious breakfast sandwich I've ever had. However, if you want something lighter and to share with others, I highly recommend their Garlic Furikake Chicken Wings. They are crispy chicken wings tossed in a garlic sauce and furikake. They taste absolutely delicious and like nothing I've ever had before. They are sweet, savory and absolutely delicious. They have so many other amazing items on their menu and the staff is always outstanding! Please don't overlook this spot and check it out if you are staying at the Princess Kaiulani. read more

Splash Bar - Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Honolulu, Hawaii September 6, 2026 I stopped by Splash Bar at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani for breakfast and had the hot continental breakfast, which included bacon, a veggie omelette, potatoes, and a croissant. Overall, the food was okay but nothing particularly memorable. The bacon and veggie omelette were decent, and the croissant was fine, but the potatoes were overly salted, which took away from the meal. The service was friendly and pleasant, but unfortunately not quite attentive enough. We found ourselves waiting longer than we should have for basic service. Overall, it was an average breakfast experience. Nothing was terrible, but between the overly salted potatoes and the lack of attentiveness, I can't really rate it higher than 3 stars. read more

The bartenders were friendly, and Jade in particular was fantastic--she provided excellent service and was the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the overall beverage policy was disappointing. Guests are encouraged to purchase a souvenir cup, but it isn't eligible for refills. I also purchased a second drink that tipped over almost immediately after I set it down. When I asked about it, I was simply told I was welcome to buy another one. I understand accidents happen, but a little customer service or goodwill would have gone a long way. The manager, James, was not helpful in resolving the situation, which made the experience even more disappointing. Jade's outstanding service was the only bright spot. read more

The food was really delicious. The day we went was part of the Okinawa Feastival, so they had some unique dishes as well as the regular fare. Service was top notch, and the venue also features live music in the late afternoon and evening. A real plus is the 4 hour validated parking. So if you have an additional errand to run in Waikiki, stopping off at Splash Bar is a great option. read more

We stopped here before going to the room since it's located on the premises for a snack. Located near the pool and access to everyone. We ordered a combo appetizer on a 1/4 sheet pan. It came with Wings, a good helping of Nachos with all the fixings and Vinegar Chicharrones. It's a lot for two people but it's worth it. The next night we decided to have dinner and Got the Rib Eye steak with rice and vegetables and Water Crest tofu salad. We shared both and it was perfect serving. We enjoyed it by the pool while listening to live music. Good experience and good service. read more

This floor level place is the Marriott continental breakfast and also for dinner and cocktails. We liked the open air seating under umbrellas and got to enjoy the cute white pigeons and birds waddling around waiting for scraps. The complimentary breakfast was great! There were options on the menu to upgrade the entree to other items like ube princess pancakes and strawberry waffle. The service was phenomenal and super quick! The only thing I didn't like were the open air cream containers on the table for coffee, there should be lids. Spent several evenings here, first poolside, then inside by the lobby and right next to the entertainment ( all excellent. by the way). Probably what made this place so wonderful was the lovely Michelle, who was our server for the at least 4 times we were there. So personable, friendly, attentive, funny and smiling. Next, the chicken wings were probably the best I've had-- so delicious, especially with the furakake- will start putting some on at home. My husband loved his drinks, particularly the Old Fashioned and Smoky Tiki mule, whereas I loved the royal Ube colada. Thanks Michelle! read more

Conveniently located downstairs of our hotel next to pool and was quick to get a table to have a meal or snack before heading out to explore or back to our room for the day. One day when we had lunch we split the Waygu burger came with fries and Tofu watercress salad. I ordered the resting beach face to drink and it was good. Everything g was delicious and we both especially loved the tofu watercress salad. Another day we stopped by to grabbed the appetizer platter containing Kailua pork nachos, friend chicken and salt and vinegar chicharrones for the room after a long day of exploring. That was my favorite item as I loved everything about it. We enjoyed our time outside tables during the day and night. The workers are so kind, friendly and sweet. read more

Our server was a rockstar, she was so friendly and easy to get a conversation started with. She was also honest about the menu and let us know what she was recommending. The drinks were good, very sugary but I loved it, however the Hanabata days is advertised as serves 3-4 comfortably and in all honesty it was barely enough for 2 to share. It was about a drink and 1/2 in the fancy bowl it came in, it was my favorite thing we ordered but don't be scared to order it for just 1-2 people. The food was alright, I enjoyed my Teri beef plate very much and if you were swimming and took a little break this would be the best thing to chow down on, but the surf n turf was alright, I personally didn't love it but my husband said it was alright, nothing magical but good. For being a bar right next to the pool it was a nice time, they had live music and we got lucky with lovely weather. read more

We went to the splash bar for a late breakfast to use our complimentary breakfast coupons. It's located right next to the pool, in an open air seating. So if the weather is bad, the floors will be wet and you may or may not get wet. They have very large umbrellas covering the dining tables. The food was good. I upgraded from the complimentary continental breakfast plate to the princess plate for $12 extra dollars (using my coupon), and everything tasted great. The service was nice and our waiter checked in on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a nice and relaxing breakfast by the pool on a sunny Sunday morning! read more

My husband is traveling for work and staying at the Marriott where this restaurant is located. He stopped in for dinner yesterday. The restaurant is well appointed and very clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. He ordered the spicy ahi poke bowl. He said it was very good The portion was enough for a meal, but he didn't have any leftovers. However, I think that is OK considering he's in a hotel anyway. He said he will definitely be back again during his stay. The restaurant is convenient because it's located in the hotel, and the food is good. read more

A couple of nights ago, I had late dinner here. I have stayed in this hotel over the years and enjoyed the parking, prices, and proximity to the beach. The server was Kaila, if I recall. Lots of places to try, so I would return, but have to spread my dining experiences across the land. read more

The service was excellent and the waiter was so much fun. I had the Hawaiian take on Chicken and Waffles. I had Garlic FriedChicken and Butter Moci Waffles. An amazing combination. The Butter Moci Waffles were had a buttery chewy consistency that was distinct but lovely. It was like biting into what you expect to be a regular waffle in appearance but a different but welcoming experience in taste and consistency. I also had POG Mimosa. This was a truly tropical mimosa that was grand for a Sunday morning! read more

We stayed at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani where this place is located, so we ate there a few times. Fish and chips, Turkey sandwich, and the Kaiulani cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was the best or all of the meals, and the tater tots were nice and crispy. The drinks were good, I tried a "Resting *itch Face" and it was yummy. You are right by the pool so people are constantly walking past you. The service was very slow, but it was friendly. The prices are crazy $31 for a burger and $19 for a drink. There are so many good places close by, go there instead. read more

If you would have told me the best poke bowl I would have ever had was at a pool bar in Waikiki I would have laughed. The tuna was perfection. Seaweed salad was so yummy and crispy and the edamame so fresh. The drinks here are fabulous and generously strong. I could live on their cold noodle bowl. It's called the Yuzu Chilled Soba Noodle Salad. It has soba noodles, cucumber, carrots, tomatoes, sesame bean sprouts wakame, romaine, scallion, crunchy wonton crisps in a house made vinaigrette. I always add the tofu and avocado . It is SO VERY refreshing and super delicious, and perfect for a satisfying poolside meal. It's big enough to share. But if you're really hungry-it will really fill you up. The perfect poolside meal is this salad with a glass of white wine, or a frozen cocktail - like their lilikoi margarita or mai tai. If you're sharing, get it with fries and your poolside picnic is set. The vibe is great. Live music by a DJ with impeccable music taste on the weekend (Saturday) is oh so nice. Their cocktails are great. Staff are always so friendly. Also, Happy Hour is daily - 3pm to 5pm read more

Here i am... expecting, decent service and just here to support a "local" artist... Tad! I will admit, as just a normal hotel, live-music, bar spot... I didn't think my service would be so exceptional! This place is open-air, "seat yourself," type of place. As a rule of thumb, I always check with wait staff just in case. Anyways, my friend and I had quickly been helped with by our server Ashley! Let me just say this... whoever hired her deserves a raise as well! Her bubbly energy, constantly checking up (yet, not overbearing), upbeat and ready really made my "light bite and cocktail" more enjoyable that I was expecting. I was here for just a nice drink and pupus as I enjoy music from my friend, Tad, walked out with an unforgettable experience that I will never forget! Food wise, well, like I said... I was hoping for just a light sampler... instead, thus again, I undermined what this spot is capable of... DA PLATTER is all you really need, we could probably use another person to help us or even 2. As for my friend and I, that is all we ate and boy.... We were stuffed! 3 items come with it and I will dissect each for you. Starting off, kalua pig nachos... now, the cheese is probably the most basic cheese sauce, but the kalua pig was nice and tender. Furikake wings were probably my favorite of the three items, the sauce was garlicky and a bit sweet, soy-based. It really doesn't need the ranch, but if you are into it then that's all you! I loved it, crispy, yet, perfectly sauced/more glazed I would say. Chicharron, it was a bit overseasoned for my liking. It was as if the cover came off while they were seasoning it. It worked out fine with some of the vinergar, which was a bit spicy. However, cool this all down with a refreshing POG slushie (with bacardi lol) and you have yourself... the perfect pupu for a chill night with some live entertainment. I cannot fully judge the food this visit because it was more pupu style, but i'd rate it like a 3.95/5 (only the platter). Lastly, keep in mind when deciding to come, the restaurant is "outside"/patio side vibes. For me, the area that the live music in was a bit warm last night. It would be nice if that had some type of fan or maybe even open up the "blinds". Since I know that's things the hotel/restaurant has no full control over, I still rate this a 5/5! Just be mindful, be demure... it is open-air ish! Ahaha! As a recap, REQUEST FOR ASHLEY if she's there! I know I will! read more

A patio near a pool is almost always a nice place to eat. I ate a breakfast and a lunch here. Very busy at breakfast, slightly understaffed but the food came quickly and was decent.
