iced matcha latte with oat milk
Melena S.

Cute cafe right by Seaport, the Financial District, and Chinatown! They serve beverages, pastries, and actual food! Big and small bites! I went in on a Monday around noon and there no wait and the service was quick! Happy to share that the hot and iced beverages are roughly the same price! At least for matcha lattes, which is what I got -- a small, iced matcha latte with oat milk. I didn't mention sweetener and I'm not sure if they put it in but it was yummy! $5.62 after tax for a small. It's been a personal goal to check out different cafes in Boston and this one was pretty good for what I got. Not sure if I'd dive into anything else but it's good to know that the matcha lattes are good :)

Sorelle on Congress in Boston

There are three Sorelle's in the vicinity, so be sure you're getting the right one. We stopped into the one on Congress near the Federal Reserve building for breakfast today. It's a small place and it was busy this morning! Ordering at the counter and our breakfast sandwiches were prepared to order. Mom and I both got salmon bagels, getting the last of their "everything." The bagels were okay, different than what I was expecting. These seemed more baked than boiled and baked as a bagel should be. Still tasty and the cream cheese, salmon, onion and tomato were good. Coffee was rich and extremely hot. Wowzer!

Cool little location nestled in the heart off the seaport. I had a bagel that had a little more to be desired but the overall quality was there. I did a full review specifically on the bagel if you want to check it out: https://youtu.be/tIRKtrndjQM

Stopped for a quick iced coffee after an ICA visit. Crew wasn't too sociable but coffee was good.

Prosciutto panini. Delish!

Upon arriving in Boston in the early afternoon, my two friends and I were looking for a cute little coffee shop that was relatively close to South Station. We ended up decided on Sorelle and made our way there with the superior mapping app: Google Maps. I ordered a caramel latte and a prosciutto panini. The panini was delicious, albeit the prosciutto was on the saltier side. Nevertheless, it still hit the spot. A lot of the reviews on here talk about how the service was really bad. It's strange because I had a great experience! The two young workers were chatty, funny, and quick to get things done. Maybe it's because we seemed to be around the same age as them (college student age), but there was not a single thing wrong with our experience there. Sorelle had wifi, outlets, and a clean and modern vibe to the place. The only thing I would suggest is to add larger tables with more seating so more than two people can sit together without feeling cramped.

We came here twice while in Boston. The guy behind the counter is By himself and is incredibly fast and on point. We had coffees and a breakfast sandwich. If you want a quick bite come here!

Their lattes are criminally under-filled. I've stopped going because a cup of air should not cost 5 dollars.

Green tea was so weak it pretty much tasted like water and partner's americano was so watered down. We should have walked elsewhere.

Rudest customer service I've experienced at a business, I will never go back in. And it's overpriced and the quality of food is poor.

Great food, fast service, convenient location...but the real reason I go back is the staff. Best crew in Boston.

For takeout, I got a mango mousse (nicely tart), a crème brûlée kouign-amann, and a rose raspberry bowtie. Everything tasted delicious--just the right amount of sweetness, not overly sweet at all. On the second day, I ordered takeout again: an almond croissant, a rocket pop pain suisse, and the crème brûlée kouign-amann once more. Anne was polite, super friendly, and very helpful with menu recommendations. On the first day when I ordered takeout, Anne even kept the pastries chilled for me because I couldn't walk around the area carrying them in the intense heat without them spoiling before I reached the hotel. Truly the best and most helpful service!

The banana tastes nicely sweet and fresh, creamed with miso adding that hint of savory goodness and topped with caramel. The croissant was beautifully flakey, buttery. Altogether they make for a really refreshing treat, it's not too sweet, which, as we all know, is the highest form of compliment a treat can be! Upon walking in the shop I was greeted by several staff (in a graceful, friendly, not over the top way) which is lovely for a morning vibe where I'm still yet to get my caffeine fix. Just the right amount of love and jolly. I sat outside by the park/plaza to enjoy a nice morning with my coffee and this pastry. Excellent addition to the neighborhood!

I came here 4 times when in town for a conference, as this way super conveniently located to the conference center (Menino). It's open 7am-10pm daily, is always seemingly busy but always very efficient and fast to deliver orders, and has a huge amount of comfortable seating. First visit: I tried the vegan breakfast burrito ($12), a nicely designed burrito with tofu, potato, spinach, roasted red peppers, vegan cheese, and mushrooms, served with salsa on the side. Very solid burrito. The Spanish burrito I tried another day--which came with vegan meatballs of some sort--was even better. Second visit: I got an açai bowl ($9 for the small size; $12 for regular), and added vegan protein powder ($2) blended in. It came with açai blended with almond milk, banana, strawberries, blueberries, and granola. Real good and plentiful even for the small size. Third visit: just ordered a bagel with vegan cream cheese that had tomato in it, and added some spinach on top ($5.50 total). Very generous spinach portion (for $0.50!), well-toasted bagel, and an appropriate amount of cream cheese. Very tasty. Moreover, each time I visited, I ordered a double espresso ($3.50), which was excellent. Proper espresso, deep body, strong, served with sparkling water and a piece of dark chocolate.

Love the space and outside seating…read more On our first visit, the chipotle steak burrito, Spicy Boi, and Watermelon & Blood Orange Agua Fresca all hit the spot. Everything was flavorful, and the service was surprisingly fast considering how busy it was. We went back and tried a few other things, including the pumpkin smoothie and pastel de nata. Unfortunately, those were misses for me. The smoothie had a sour aftertaste, and the pastry seemed stale or like it had been sitting around for a while. The custard flavor was also pretty nonexistent aside from tasting mostly like sugar. I've had better pastel de nata elsewhere, although it's possible that's simply the flavor profile they were going for. Overall, some things were really enjoyable, while others didn't quite live up to the first visit

First of all, the pastry case just beautifully displays all the baked goods. It's quite a sight to see! I love the variety and flavors, very unique. If you know what you want, gotta get in line and grab it quick! If you wanna put in your own order, you can use the kiosk, which is really fun to use. I ordered a chai with oat milk (it's very light in flavor) and got a bialy. Honestly I had not had a bialy in over 25+ years... and was surprised to see it in the case and I had to have it. A corn + cheddar bialy. It did NOT disappoint. I also got london fog with oat milk previously, also very nice, but this place was soooo good we had to come back. My daughter loves pop tarts so when she saw it in the case, she got a blueberry pop tart and said it was very flakey and the jam was very jamful. It was the-last-one, even had the sign stuck in it!! She also got the french toast (2 slices) with kid's milk and said it was the best french toast she's ever had. My sis got a chocolate pain suisse, which I had never seen before. It's basically brioche filled with pastry cream and chocolate. It looked delicious and with coffee, my sis ate the whole thing up. All in all, this place has so much delicious eats.. I can understand if you live here, you could come every morning and still not get to everything in the pastry case! Definitely be back if we're in the Boston area again.

Ordering is simple (automated or in-person), and our food arrived in approximately 5 minutes (delivered to our table.) Pleasant music plays overhead, and the dining space is well lit. Four stars instead of five: Indoor dining space has been significantly reduced (at least 75% reduction) but there is ample outdoor seating. There is indoor seating for 8-10 people. We all agreed we would eat here in the future.

When they called out a drink that matched one of the ones we ordered, we grabbed it and took a sip but new it wasn't oat milk and the barista confirmed that was whole milk and might have been someone else's order even after handing the drink to us. Once we solved that hiccup, the iced lattes were nothing memorable and the espresso used paled in terms of flavor. I really wanted to like this spot especially given it is tucked into a local bookshop right in the Seaport but this visit was just okay.
