iced matcha latte with oat milk
    Melena S.

Cute cafe right by Seaport, the Financial District, and Chinatown! They serve beverages, pastries, and actual food! Big and small bites! I went in on a Monday around noon and there no wait and the service was quick! Happy to share that the hot and iced beverages are roughly the same price! At least for matcha lattes, which is what I got -- a small, iced matcha latte with oat milk. I didn't mention sweetener and I'm not sure if they put it in but it was yummy! $5.62 after tax for a small. It's been a personal goal to check out different cafes in Boston and this one was pretty good for what I got. Not sure if I'd dive into anything else but it's good to know that the matcha lattes are good :)

    Sorelle on Congress in Boston

There are three Sorelle's in the vicinity, so be sure you're getting the right one. We stopped into the one on Congress near the Federal Reserve building for breakfast today. It's a small place and it was busy this morning! Ordering at the counter and our breakfast sandwiches were prepared to order. Mom and I both got salmon bagels, getting the last of their "everything." The bagels were okay, different than what I was expecting. These seemed more baked than boiled and baked as a bagel should be. Still tasty and the cream cheese, salmon, onion and tomato were good. Coffee was rich and extremely hot. Wowzer!

Cool little location nestled in the heart off the seaport. I had a bagel that had a little more to be desired but the overall quality was there. I did a full review specifically on the bagel if you want to check it out: https://youtu.be/tIRKtrndjQM

Stopped for a quick iced coffee after an ICA visit. Crew wasn't too sociable but coffee was good.

Upon arriving in Boston in the early afternoon, my two friends and I were looking for a cute little coffee shop that was relatively close to South Station. We ended up decided on Sorelle and made our way there with the superior mapping app: Google Maps. I ordered a caramel latte and a prosciutto panini. The panini was delicious, albeit the prosciutto was on the saltier side. Nevertheless, it still hit the spot. A lot of the reviews on here talk about how the service was really bad. It's strange because I had a great experience! The two young workers were chatty, funny, and quick to get things done. Maybe it's because we seemed to be around the same age as them (college student age), but there was not a single thing wrong with our experience there. Sorelle had wifi, outlets, and a clean and modern vibe to the place. The only thing I would suggest is to add larger tables with more seating so more than two people can sit together without feeling cramped.

We came here twice while in Boston. The guy behind the counter is By himself and is incredibly fast and on point. We had coffees and a breakfast sandwich. If you want a quick bite come here!

Fantastic fresh sandwich. Both the roast beef and tuna are excellent. The iced London fog is fantastic. How was this only three stars???

They have a lot of delicious looking pastries, sandwiches, and salads, and a large drink menu. My friend purchased a coffee and we shared a Tuscan Turkey baguette. We walked into a space that mixes communal tables, stadium-style seating, and smaller spots to sit, making it a place where you can stop in for a quick drink or stay longer with a laptop. The interior design is one of the biggest highlights, giving the cafe a more elevated experience compared to a typical coffee shop. The tiered seating in particular creates a visual dynamic that makes the room feel more intentional than your standard coffee counter. The drinks are the main focus here, especially the matcha, hojicha, and espresso-based options. We ordered the hojicha latte, which was one of the strongest items on the menu, with a deep roasted flavor and a smooth texture. The matcha has a more traditional earthy profile and leans less sweet, which works well if you prefer a more authentic matcha taste. The drinks are on the expensive side, but the quality of the ingredients and preparation make it feel more like a specialty cafe experience rather than a standard coffee stop. The food and dessert options add another reason to visit, with items like the egg sandwich, quiche, macarons, and hojicha desserts available depending on the day. The menu is smaller compared to a full brunch cafe, but it pairs well with the drinks and gives the visit more of a cafe-and-pastry feel. Service is friendly and the staff are knowledgeable about the drinks, which helps when choosing between the different Japanese tea options. The cafe can get busy, and seating is limited compared to the number of people who come through, but the layout gives it a unique character. Ogawa Coffee works well for specialty coffee and tea lovers looking for a more intentional cafe experience in Boston, especially if you enjoy Japanese-style drinks and a thoughtfully designed space.
