    Iced Boston Cream Latte
    Kevin B.

Great coffee shop right as you are entering the Financial District of Boston. The team is friendly and attentive and the coffee is quite good. I've had both a regular cup of hot coffee here and recently went for an iced Boston Cream latte with oat milk which was a very nice treat! Phin's has some counter seats and a few tables and chairs available and is a bright and comfortable coffee shop. Certainly worth checking out!

If you're not getting the bbq pork banh mi from here, YOU ARE MISSING OUT!!! They have one of the best banh mi's in Boston--NO CAP!!! It's so good, that I literally had to have it twice in a week!!!! From the super crispy bread, to the perfectly pickled veggies, and the delicious meat, this banh mi comes with it ALL!! Now of course this means that their drinks are as good! Their UBE espresso latte is super delicious, especially if you love UBE!! And duh, can't go wrong with their matcha!!

One of the best Viet coffees I've had! The Boston cream coffee was soo good with the whipped topping and the golden matcha was the perfect blend of sweetness. Highly recommend!

I came to Phin Coffee House to work before some meetings while I was in Boston. It's a pretty popular coffee shop in downtown Boston. There was barely a seating open while I was there because it was so busy! That said, it wasn't too loud. I ordered a Tofu Banh Mi and a Mango smoothie. The Banh Mi was good, but I think the flavors were a bit inconsistent between bites. The mango smoothie was great and I could tell they used real mango for it! I'd recommend it -- next time, I'll try some of the coffee drinks; they seemed very popular!

Lives up to the hype! Cute little coffee shop with a modern feel and plenty of seating. Stopped by around 8am so it was busy but service was extremely quick. I was probably in and out in 5 min. I got the specialty iced coffee as I'd heard it's really good and I was not lied too! The coffee was delicious and I loved the condensed milk in it. Will 100% be back

I had such a great experience at Phin Coffee House. I was staying at a hotel across from Harvard and originally stopped in just because it was convenient, but I'm so glad I did. The coffee is easily some of the best I've had in a long time, and the service was genuinely exceptional. After only one visit, the woman working the register remembered both my name and my order, which was such a thoughtful touch and made me feel incredibly welcome. I also tried the chicken bánh mì, and it was absolutely delicious...fresh, flavorful, and the perfect breakfast/lunch option alongside a coffee. It's rare to find a place that gets both the food and hospitality right, but Phin Coffee House does. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Cambridge. 10/10.

Such a cute Vietnamese coffee cafe! The decor is open and calming, and the staff are so friendly. They gave great recommendations! We ordered the shredded beef baos and wished it came with more of the aioli. The drinks were refreshing and the Vietnamese coffee was our favorite. It was strong and had great flavor.

Pork Cold Cut Banh Mi (7/10): Pretty solid banh mi. Not the best I've ever had, but you can't go wrong with ordering it. Phorrito (8/10): This is actually a genius idea. It definitely tastes like pho, but is also its own unique creation. Executed perfectly! Ube Matcha Latte (7.5/10): Very good latte, and it was filled to the brim. Very strong matcha flavor. I wish there was a bit more ube inside, though. Hojicha Latte (8/10): Same as above, pretty much. Nice decor. Cozy place to study or meet up.

Always come here for a cortado but today I brought my workmates and tried some muffins too. The coffee is always great! It's one of the more expensive places to get coffee in Boston but it's always guaranteed to be well made. The workers are soooo friendly and always go out of their way to make you feel welcome! The muffins were nice but I wouldn't running back to get them again. The bran raisin was very nice! Loved the raisins but was a little dry! The pistachio had no pistachio flavour at all so that was disappointing. The banana nut was the best for flavour and not as dry as the others! Will be coming back for coffee as always but will skip the muffins!

    ICED UBE LATTE

Be prepared to wait in a line if you visit here on the weekend.. the secret is out!!! Phin Coffee House has some really great drinks (their food menu also looked very good to me) and this location is just right around the corner from South Station and Downtown Crossing which makes it super convenient to pop into. I ordered the iced ube latte (with espresso) which was delicious and had the perfect amount of sweetness. It was pretty difficult finding a table to sit at, but after waiting for our drinks to come out I was able to snag one. My only complaints are with the overall cleanliness of the cafe. The bathroom when we visited was pretty dirty and the container of free water had a gnat floating on the top, which was a bit gross. I also do wish there were more pastries served at this coffee shop.. I looked around at the display case they had and nothing really interested me. I feel like some Vietnamese sweet treats would go a long way here!

Popped into this coffee shop downtown when visiting Boston and enjoyed it. No line and the coffee came out quick They had a large food menu as well as lots of yummy looking pastries and other food/drink options like energy drinks and Chobani yogurt. Peaceful vibes, great for a coffee date or remote working. Something for everyone here.

    BOSTON CREAM LATTE
    Gina S.

Visiting Boston for the first time and this shop was recommended. It was cold and rainy when I arrived so the place was busy. I ordered a Boston Cream Latte, it was made quickly. The latte was good, not overly sweet but it was full of foam "cream" and ice. I only had what felt like a few sips. The cup was still more than half full of cream and ice but nothing to drink through the straw. There seemed to be several regulars hanging out working and having conversations. Nice music playing in the background.

Some people go on vacation for the food, but we are in it for the coffee. We took a ferry and a 15 minute walk to get here...and we were NOT disappointed. My daughter had the Boston Cream Latte and I ordered Ca Phe Phin. I can't say which one was better because they were not amazing. I'm not using exaggerative adjectives. We ranked it as our favorite coffee experience over 5 days we road tripped through the upper east coast! The roast is smooth with zero notes of bitterness. The Boston Cream reminded us of a creamy cup of chocolate milk. The coffee notes did not significantly stand out, so if that's important to you, maybe try a different option. The Ca Phe Phin is I'm more traditional Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. I was fearful that it would be overly sweet so I ordered it half sweet and it was perfect. It's hard to describe other than "delicious." my only complaint is that it went too quickly because I've room up previous coffee space. I should've ordered the large. The next time we are in Boston, you'll find us here!

I don't think the prices on their menu are justified for the big portions they serve! Yes, they give plentiful ingredients for lower than standard menu price compared to my local area. I don't go to Dorchester often, so I am not sure if the other Vietnamese restaurants within its vicinity have similar price range. But this restaurant is definitely worth checking it out as it has a decent selection to order. I had Bun Bo Hue and my friend had #75 Crab Noodle Soup with Water Spinach. Bun Bo Hue was not spicy, was on the sweeter side, but it was flavorful! They provided me a saucer of chilly oil to adjust spicy level to my liking. #75 was good as well and like I stated it had plenty ingredients (at an affordable price)! We placed our order and then watched three people who came in after us receive their orders before we did. I understand that mistakes happen and orders can get mixed up, but there was no reason for the attitude or the way we were treated when we simply asked about our order. After this experience, I won't be coming back. It's unfortunate because I genuinely liked the food, but good food doesn't make up for feeling disrespected and unfairly treated as a customer.

Most of the Vietnamese restaurants in the Boston/Greater Boston area are typically older. But now the question is, is the food actually worth the higher price tag? I would say yes! Service is on the slow side but food was surprisingly quite all right. These are the dishes we ordered today: - cha gio/fried egg rolls - Banh khot/ crispy shrimp cakes - limeade (x2) - pho tai bo vien / pho with eye round steak + meatballs - grilled beef rice plate - an order of nem nuong on the side Thoughts: Food took a minute to arrive to our table. I'd say it was roughly 20ish minutes. It seemed like their cha gio/fried eggrolls were freshly made to order? They were not greasy and stale like they normally are when ordered at a restaurant (premade). I really liked the egg rolls from here, though it had more wood sear mushroom + vermicelli noodles in it rather than meat for filling. It came with lots of veggies, which I appreciate! Banh khot/crispy shrimp cakes were fire! This dish isn't readily available at most other restaurants so we definitely had to get them to try. They used whole shrimp and I thought that the portion size was great. Normally they are much smaller & use smaller shrimp (at least the ones I've tried at other spots). Great flavor & tasted delish. ***We ended up asking for some fish sauce with peppers, we felt like the nuoc mam they gave us was missing something. Fish sauce w/ peppers was much better! Highly recommend asking for this. *** Limeade: For me, it tasted like lemonade. Sweeter than usual. Not the best. The pho tai bo vien was not bad. The broth is on the lighter side. I was expecting the eye round steak to be the thin, round cut of beef but they actually gave thicker cuts of beef. I enjoyed it & dipped with a mixture of hoisin + sriracha. The grilled beef rice plate was great. Our server suggested to get the beef over the pork rice plate, which we were skeptical at first. From our experience, we avoid ordering grilled beef because it is always made too dry so pork is often the better option. The grilled beef was not dry here & we gave it a thumbs up. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at An Nam. The restaurant is super clean, aesthetically pleasing interior, and fresh + delicious food. Can't ask for more honestly. Would like to see the service improve & it'd be nice if the food could be made a bit quicker but we were pleased with the quality overall... so can't complain haha.

Yes grilled medium to well done but not super dry like a lot of other places. At the other spots i typically get marinated pork instead of the beef. Good portion of protein, tender for the style of beef and the cook. Comes with rice and veg. I asked for nuoc mam (fish sauce with chili) The Nuoc Mam that comes standard caters for the demographic probably. I like mine with chili's and garlic etc. + Pho Tao Bo Vien. pho noodle soup with round eye beef and beef meatballs. Broth was a bit light in depth probably just needed more time to steep the flavor. Actual cuts of beef that wasn't just a super thin cuts from most others. Good portion which compensated for the price. + crispy shrimp cake Banh Khot i enjoyed this because they use a larger mold for it, giving bigger cakes with FULL size shrimp on each one and not baby shrimp like the ones you find typically. Nice light crisp, flavor was good, dunk em in the fish sauce and YUM. + cha gio eggrolls - enjoyable i personally prefer a more pork ratio to the woods ear vermicelli/veg mix. However still a good egg roll, crispy outside, tasted freshly made, not sitting in a pan all day and heated up making them soggy or extra oily. Not my favorite though. + Thit nem nuong Viet pork sausage, not over grilled, moist and just a nice addition on the side. + 2x limeades. This is typically my goto drink at any Viet establishment since I was a kid. This one I had was a bit more on the sweeter side with a more tart after-note from the lime. Not bad though. Pleasant surprise before our paint & sip event!
