    Iced Boston Cream Latte
    Kevin B.

Great coffee shop right as you are entering the Financial District of Boston. The team is friendly and attentive and the coffee is quite good. I've had both a regular cup of hot coffee here and recently went for an iced Boston Cream latte with oat milk which was a very nice treat! Phin's has some counter seats and a few tables and chairs available and is a bright and comfortable coffee shop. Certainly worth checking out!

If you're not getting the bbq pork banh mi from here, YOU ARE MISSING OUT!!! They have one of the best banh mi's in Boston--NO CAP!!! It's so good, that I literally had to have it twice in a week!!!! From the super crispy bread, to the perfectly pickled veggies, and the delicious meat, this banh mi comes with it ALL!! Now of course this means that their drinks are as good! Their UBE espresso latte is super delicious, especially if you love UBE!! And duh, can't go wrong with their matcha!!

I came to Phin Coffee House to work before some meetings while I was in Boston. It's a pretty popular coffee shop in downtown Boston. There was barely a seating open while I was there because it was so busy! That said, it wasn't too loud. I ordered a Tofu Banh Mi and a Mango smoothie. The Banh Mi was good, but I think the flavors were a bit inconsistent between bites. The mango smoothie was great and I could tell they used real mango for it! I'd recommend it -- next time, I'll try some of the coffee drinks; they seemed very popular!

Such a cute Vietnamese coffee cafe! The decor is open and calming, and the staff are so friendly. They gave great recommendations! We ordered the shredded beef baos and wished it came with more of the aioli. The drinks were refreshing and the Vietnamese coffee was our favorite. It was strong and had great flavor.

Pork Cold Cut Banh Mi (7/10): Pretty solid banh mi. Not the best I've ever had, but you can't go wrong with ordering it. Phorrito (8/10): This is actually a genius idea. It definitely tastes like pho, but is also its own unique creation. Executed perfectly! Ube Matcha Latte (7.5/10): Very good latte, and it was filled to the brim. Very strong matcha flavor. I wish there was a bit more ube inside, though. Hojicha Latte (8/10): Same as above, pretty much. Nice decor. Cozy place to study or meet up.

Always come here for a cortado but today I brought my workmates and tried some muffins too. The coffee is always great! It's one of the more expensive places to get coffee in Boston but it's always guaranteed to be well made. The workers are soooo friendly and always go out of their way to make you feel welcome! The muffins were nice but I wouldn't running back to get them again. The bran raisin was very nice! Loved the raisins but was a little dry! The pistachio had no pistachio flavour at all so that was disappointing. The banana nut was the best for flavour and not as dry as the others! Will be coming back for coffee as always but will skip the muffins!

Be prepared to wait in a line if you visit here on the weekend.. the secret is out!!! Phin Coffee House has some really great drinks (their food menu also looked very good to me) and this location is just right around the corner from South Station and Downtown Crossing which makes it super convenient to pop into. I ordered the iced ube latte (with espresso) which was delicious and had the perfect amount of sweetness. It was pretty difficult finding a table to sit at, but after waiting for our drinks to come out I was able to snag one. My only complaints are with the overall cleanliness of the cafe. The bathroom when we visited was pretty dirty and the container of free water had a gnat floating on the top, which was a bit gross. I also do wish there were more pastries served at this coffee shop.. I looked around at the display case they had and nothing really interested me. I feel like some Vietnamese sweet treats would go a long way here!

    BOSTON CREAM LATTE

Visiting Boston for the first time and this shop was recommended. It was cold and rainy when I arrived so the place was busy. I ordered a Boston Cream Latte, it was made quickly. The latte was good, not overly sweet but it was full of foam "cream" and ice. I only had what felt like a few sips. The cup was still more than half full of cream and ice but nothing to drink through the straw. There seemed to be several regulars hanging out working and having conversations. Nice music playing in the background.

Popped into this coffee shop downtown when visiting Boston and enjoyed it. No line and the coffee came out quick They had a large food menu as well as lots of yummy looking pastries and other food/drink options like energy drinks and Chobani yogurt. Peaceful vibes, great for a coffee date or remote working. Something for everyone here.

Some people go on vacation for the food, but we are in it for the coffee. We took a ferry and a 15 minute walk to get here...and we were NOT disappointed. My daughter had the Boston Cream Latte and I ordered Ca Phe Phin. I can't say which one was better because they were not amazing. I'm not using exaggerative adjectives. We ranked it as our favorite coffee experience over 5 days we road tripped through the upper east coast! The roast is smooth with zero notes of bitterness. The Boston Cream reminded us of a creamy cup of chocolate milk. The coffee notes did not significantly stand out, so if that's important to you, maybe try a different option. The Ca Phe Phin is I'm more traditional Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. I was fearful that it would be overly sweet so I ordered it half sweet and it was perfect. It's hard to describe other than "delicious." my only complaint is that it went too quickly because I've room up previous coffee space. I should've ordered the large. The next time we are in Boston, you'll find us here!

I loved their iced latte. The espresso was strong and the drink was viscous. The vibes were cute and it was clean. The staff was also kind. I'd definitely go back!

This review is purely for the food. The Pho Burrito was an interesting concept that didn't amaze upon execution unfortunately--it was just ok. The pho broth they gave on the side was a great afternoon refresher though! The Cold-Cut Pork Banh Mi also had all the proper components, but didn't stand out in any way. Strangely, the bread seemed to be pressed thin which made chewing it more difficult. People were definitely coming more for the drinks though, to which they have an extensive selection. Easily worth trying one of them next time!

Phin Coffee House is a modern matcha house also serving a few select pastries and Vietnamese bites. It's a casual spot with a small selection of seating and counter ordering. I had the matcha latte, there was a good strong matcha flavor and still was a bit creamy. I also tried some of the matcha spritz which I found deliciously refreshing and more of a standout drink

I loved that the crispy rolls were vegan but it was very taro (or potato?) heavy and the taro was just slightly undercooked. Pork looked and tasted old with not much flavor and no grilled taste. It was the most disappointing part of the meal. I ended up just tossing the pork out and eating the rest, which was tolerable with the fish sauce. Wish the fish had some fresh herbs - it only came with noodles, iceberg, cucumber, peanuts, and pickled carrots and daikon. Also wished the veggies were all cut the same way for a better cohesion in texture. The lettuce pieces were kinda large and the cucumbers were sliced into discs rather than strips like everything else. Fast service, but would recommend the noodles. I did see lots of other people getting the sandwiches, which is probably what I should have ordered.

Phở Pasteur is a classic Vietnamese restaurant that focuses on traditional comfort dishes,…read moreespecially pho and other noodle soups. We walked into a casual, straightforward space that makes it the type of place you stop by for a quick, warm meal rather than a long dining experience. The atmosphere is nice with a busy, fast-paced energy that fits the style of food being served. The menu covers many Vietnamese staples, including different styles of pho, bun bo hue, rice dishes, and vermicelli bowls, giving plenty of options depending on what you are craving. The main draw here is the pho, but it landed a bit differently than expected. The broth had a lighter profile compared to other pho spots, with less of that deep, aromatic richness that usually makes the dish stand out. It was still enjoyable as a warm noodle soup, but the flavor felt a little more muted and did not have the same depth as some other Vietnamese restaurants nearby. The beef quality was solid, and the portions of noodles and meat were reasonable, but the broth is the part that makes the biggest difference in pho, and here it leaned more subtle than bold. Beyond pho, the menu offers a good selection of other Vietnamese dishes. The bun bo hue is a nice option if you prefer something with more spice and stronger flavors, while the rice and vermicelli dishes provide alternatives to the usual noodle soup. The restaurant also offers familiar sides and drinks like Thai iced tea, which pair naturally with the meal. Service is generally quick and the restaurant has a busy, efficient style, especially during peak hours. The staff handles the steady flow of customers well, and the food comes out without much delay. The location makes it convenient for a casual meal, but the fast pace can sometimes make the experience feel a little rushed. Prices are also a bit higher compared to some other Vietnamese restaurants, especially considering the portion size and the lighter broth profile, which may not feel like the best value for what you get. Phở Pasteur is a convenient option for Vietnamese food in the area, especially if you are looking for a quick bowl of pho. The food is solid, but compared to other pho spots, the lighter broth and higher pricing make it harder to stand out. It works well for a casual meal, though there are other places nearby that offer a more memorable pho experience. For a straightforward, no-fuss stop when you are in the neighborhood, it fills the gap, but it does not quite reach the level of a destination pho spot.

By trying to force the concept into a high-end parallel, it just ends up feeling mediocre and hollow. The value simply isn't there--a single appetizer, one main entree, and three refreshments came out to a whopping $105. To make matters worse, the service was incredibly judgmental. Because our party of three only ordered that amount, the staff pretty much ignored us for the rest of the night after taking the order. The awkwardness started the absolute second we sat down. Before we could even settle into our chairs or get handed a menu, the waiter demanded to know what we wanted to drink. When we asked to see a menu first, he looked completely confused as to why we'd need one. After another staff member finally took our order, we sat there waiting for what felt like an eternity. When the food eventually arrived, they gave us sharing plates and chopsticks. We asked for a spoon to properly eat the claypot rice, and the waiter gave us another judging look.
