Totally good. But it's a small, pick up spot. The pastries are yummy and well-priced. But don't go with 11 of your college friends, chill TFO... read more

This place has outstanding pastries. From the standard croissants to the guava pastries to the mango danishes, they are all absolutely delicious. It is really worth your while to visit this place just for the pastries. One of the best places for pastries in the DC area, for sure. And the staff are super friendly, making for a pleasant experience. Plus the owner has done a great job with the decor, recalling a classic parisian cafe. Very charming. The one bad thing is that their cappuccinos, lattes, and other hot espresso drinks are bad, bordering on terrible. Too much milk, wrong temperature, you name it. It's a shame, because they have an extremely high-end espresso machine. I really hope the management gets someone in to better train the staff on how to make proper hot espresso drinks. If it had good coffee, this would be the best cafe in town. read more

Pastries are lovely, especially the flaky, buttery croissants (the kouign amman, though tasty, would be much better without the ton of grainy sugar on top), the staff sweet, and the little deck adorable. The coffee, however, is mediocre, with a burnt taste other Yelpers have pointed out. It's a shame since it is far more affordable than the competition. But all in all, a great addition to the neighbourhood. read more

Oh my GOSH Eduardo is the kindest, this pastry is one of my favorite ever- it was so good. Coffee is sublime. Thank you so much!!! Recommend and ham and cheese - much love read more

Soleluna - Mango pastry, ham and cheese, creddi cappuccino - Bakeries Near Me - Washington, DC, District of Columbia

Stopped by on a late Saturday morning. Small shop with limited indoor seating (there were two tables for two) and some outdoor seating. We got a latte and cappuccino and sat inside. Ambiance was great, service was great, coffee was just okay (the milk was steamed too long, espresso flavor was alright, and latte foam was too dry). read more

Such a lovely cute neighborhood gem at AdMo. The staff is always amazing and super helpful. The shop is small so expect a line but it moves quickly. They offer a decent selection of pastries, including danishes with different toppings, and my favorite has to be mango. The custard filling is smooth and the fruits are sweet and fresh. The pastry dough too has a great buttery flavor. Highly recommend coming by if you are in the area and want a little treat. read more

Soleluna - Mango danish - Bakeries Near Me - Washington, DC, District of Columbia

In a neighborhood where there are multiple coffee shops on every block, I feel silly that I'm so extremely happy with this place. This is probably the best coffee shop to open in DC in the last year. Really reasonable prices for a NW DC coffee shop. $3.50 for a 16oz iced latte is hard to beat for a high quality non-chain. I guess even chains are charging at least that much now actually. Seating is limited but their front patio is a good option on days with nice weather. If you're looking for a cafe to post up and work on a laptop at this probably isn't the right one. The staff are wonderful, and the pastries are always warm. Nearly every time I'm there I see one of the staff members bringing new pastries out of the kitchen. I really have nothing bad to say about it. read more

Great prices for a NW DC coffee shop, fresh and creative pastries, and well made drinks. Loved my iced chai latte (their non dairy milk is oat!) and still-warm everything croissant (comes with smoked salmon!). They were just bringing out plain and chocolate croissants fresh from the oven when I arrived around 8am on a weekday. Staff were friendly and got orders out quickly! There's limited indoor and outdoor seating, and the line may be out the door at popular times. read more

really reasonably priced & great lattes!! i need to try more pastries here. the staff is super friendly too

Cozy coffee shop with delicious coffee, homemade syrups and homemade baked goods. Absolutely scrumptious croissants - as flaky and delectable as they make them in France! 100! read more

Soleluna is a lovely new coffee spot in the Adams Morgan neighborhood that I highly recommend! The coffee is strong and flavorful, and the syrup options, if you're into that, are lovely! I got an oatmilk latte with their house made salted caramel syrup and it absolutely hit the spot on a warm DC spring day. For sure worth checking out! I'll definitely be back soon to try some of their pastries! read more

Fantastic all around. I have come here a few times and their iced lattes never disappoint. The pastries I have tried have been great, and the staff is always super friendly! Finally, great prices!! Definitely check it out read more

Love the fun wallpaper and overall feel of this cafe. The chai late I had was just okay and the guava pastry I purchased seemed very expensive. Glad I stopped in and hope they do well with local business. read more

This seems to be a new cafe in the heart of Adams Morgan (intersection of 18th and Columbia). It's a petite spot with only two tables for two-max each, and very Latino (staff, music). I liked the vibe. For such a small coffee shop, they have a remarkable array of pastries, and I went for a pistachio croissant, which was delicious. The hot chocolate was a bit more meh (but not much worse than the average found across DC and America more generally). Super-friendly and warm staff. However, warning: There is no bathroom. So, it is indeed meant for foot traffic, rather than dwellers. read more

This place has really great coffee and pastries. It's very small inside, with a few tables, but they also have some outdoor tables and seats. They have pastries that are really declious but you need to get there early if you want to get any. They're coffee is really really good - some of the best I've had in DC. Definitely recommend this place for coffee and pastry lovers alike. read more

Yay for new business in the neighborhood!! An excellent new cafe that makes all of their pastries on site daily. And you won't want to miss these baked goods, buttery and flaky you may need more than one! I tried their mango cheese danish and an almond croissant and was in love! Also perfectly executed espresso and cafe - a very small indoor and outdoor seating area too! read more

Soleluna - Bakeries Near Me - Washington, DC, District of Columbia

A quaint, new location for coffee and real, French pastries on Columbia Rd. The grand opening brought out a line of Washingtonians, clamoring for a chance to try some phenomenal coffee and blended drinks. Perfectly flaky, butter and sweet danishes were what completely pulled me in and held me hostage to my sweet tooth. My danish was accompanied by the Freddo Cappuccino, which had to be the most perfect espresso pull I've had outside of Italy. read more

I visited Soleluna with my colleagues. We tried nearly every menu item, and everything was equally delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the pastries, particularly the almond croissant or feta pastry. Service is fast. There is very limited indoor seating with additional outdoor seating. It's located in the center of Adams Morgan. read more

Cozy shop in a picturesque neighborhood. The baked goods look like they are out of a magazine and are on site. Staff are friendly and patient. Possibly family owned? Everything is reasonably priced- most expensive item was $6 which is unheard of at a cafe let alone something that is high quality. read more

I have tried coffee all over the Adams Morgan area. This one is the best and my go to. My friend told me the food is good too but I don't typically eat stuff like croissants so I have not tried it. I think that it's a great place that could be made even better by possibly adding more food options. read more

Cappuccinos are fantastic, and the pastries are delicious! This spot is affordable and the service is 10/10.

Staff was disorganized and experience was disappointing. Drinks were terrible and our pastry was nothing memorable.

Great lattes with homemade syrup! I had an iced latte with chai and loved it. 4$ for a latte -- even with alternative milk and syrups. The coffee shop itself is adorable. There's some outdoor seating but very limited indoor seating. read more

By far one of the best coffees in admo, and the prices are unreal! Nice staff and really really nice pastries too!

I'm going to add this to my list of favorite coffee shops in dC. Everything was great, from the pastries to the coffee to the service.

This is such a lovely coffee shop. Small area for seating, but such a homey and sweet vibe. They're almond milk is housemade and it has no sugar in it so great for those doing whole 30 or trying to watch their sugar. And truly cannot be the price, 3.80 for an almond milk latte. Will be back. read more

Such a cute little coffee shop! We've been a few times and the service has always been good, maybe not the best ever but still solid. I've had a few lattes and tried the quiche and a few pastries and it was all good. My only complaint is that they aren't open later in the day! read more
