Store front on a rainy May Day!
    Jenner B.

Coffee is superb especially on a rainy wet May Day! The service is fast and friendly, but I wish they had more sitting. I walked here to get coffee and work on my laptop but every seat was taken but there was a lot of standing room. There is outdoor sitting but on a rainy day it didn't help. But on a hot humid day I wonder if people still sit outside.

Such a great coffee shop selling high quality coffee! We bought a bag of beans and was treated to a sample of the same beans brewed as a drip! Really nice to try what we were buying and the coffee was great! The spot is also very large and has nice seating inside and outside. Great spot, especially if you are on the way to the train, as it's only a few blocks from the station.

Very cute little shop. Coffee is great. They have a good selection. Service is fast and friendly. Not much seating but still worth a visit.

Went in for a Matcha, came out with a Hazelnut Latte! I'm not upset. Lol

Never really ate here before but the cafe service is solid. Quiet, corner cafe near Union Station! I've enjoyed their Matcha Latte with honey and lavender, iced or hot. Today, due to a minor hiccup, I enjoyed a beautifully made cafe latte with hazelnut. No regrets!

I checked out this coffee spot for the first time and it was pretty good! Service was good too! I will definitely go back to try more menu items.

Haven't been in a while as I felt it was a bit inconsistent in quality in the past but this time my drink was perfect probably because there were girlies behind the bar. A gripe is I wished the shop allowed me to order an iced cortato or flat white but instead I have to order as a latte with less milk, so it's an expensive drink, but I guess that's the norm here in DC. Either way I still recommend y'all Capitol Hill crowd to please skip Starbucks and support this local shop instead. I promise it'll be a much better drink.

I ordered a cappuccino for here and was given a to-go cup with no latte art. I asked for two syrups and was given one.

I tried the orange sage latte, sour cherry vanilla scone, and the ham and cheese croissant. The food was delicious, the drink was not hot and not very strong. Coffeehouse was very busy but staff looked very miserable...not friendly and no smiling...the atmosphere was nice.

I stopped by for a quick breakfast, but I can see this place as a nice study spot if you can manage to find a seat. It's very busy and the seats were all occupied; there was a line both when I came in and when I left. I ordered the rosemary lavender lemonade, but I wouldn't order it again because the lemonade was so overpowering that I couldn't taste any of the rosemary or lavender. It was also very sweet, so I waited for my ice to melt before finishing it. I liked the flavor of the mushroom goat cheese turnover that I ordered; it was very umami. However, its texture wasn't as flaky as I had expected because they reheat food with a microwave instead of a toaster oven.

Started a run (s/o Run with Christ) here on a beautiful Saturday morning, but waited til after the run to grab a cherry blossom latte. It was super refreshing and not overbearingly sweet. The environment was super welcoming with people inside and outside just hanging out.

omg, this has been the best coffee I have gotten in DC so far :) Was on our way to drop off family at the Station and saw that this coffee shop was nearby. The cafe was cute and accompanied with social atmosphere and ppl working, studying, and chatting. The cafe was clean and offered limited food items, baked goods, and even chips! We got the iced vanilla latte w oat and ohmy it was delicious. Not only do they use crushed ice but the coffee was excellent and the it was the perfect ratio of coffee to milk and vanilla! Although quite pricey for the amount you get, it was def worth getting. This is a solid 4.7!

I visited on a Sunday night around 8 PM and there was a small line, going out the door by a few people. It moved quickly enough. I like the shop decor a lot, with clean lines, large windows, and a few seats. I had a large ($10ish) with three scoops: Hazelnut Crackle (like ferrero rocher), Black and White Cookie Batter, Vietnamese Cinnamon. These all worked pretty well together. The star was the Hazelnut, which did taste exactly like ferrero, which meant it was delicious. I found the cinnamon a bit to punchy on its own (like Red Hots, which I don't like), but it mellowed out when eaten with the other flavors. The Black and White Cookie did taste like one, but that also meant it was not as strong as flavor as the other two.

Most recently went as a party of 4 and got the crab beignets, beef arepa, masa gnocci, and parillada for two. Crab beignets were our favorite - perfectly crispy and great flavor. Parillada was a hearty entree and probably best for 2-3 people. This amount of food altogether was just nice. We probably could have ordered one more thing to be extra full.
