This establishment was close to our event. They messed up our order but we still made it on time. Unfortunately the drinks were horrible, I tried hard to finish this hot oat milk latte that tasted like old burnt beans. And the girls iced americano was not any better she stated it tasted like ashes ( not sure if she's ever eaten ashes but maybe by accident?) yeah horribly tasting drinks. Will not be coming here again.

The coffee is extremely sweet. Great if you like sweet coffee, but I could barely taste the coffee itself. Even though I asked for 50% sugar, it was still overwhelmingly sweet. When I stopped by, I noticed they were using a La Marzocco espresso machine. It's a shame they're not using it to its full potential.

We came in one night on our first night in DC and had a lovely experience. Decided to end our second day the same way and were greeted by Miguel who remembered us from the previous night and also remembered our orders. Great overall experience. If I lived here I would be a regular. Drinks are on point as well!

DC is loaded with coffee shops. Many of them close by 5. We were headed for a different coffee shop but wanted to linger. So we chose this location (right by Metro Center). The seasonal drinks are fun. There is additional seating in the back of the coffee shop. If you want a pastry, visit earlier. There aren't many choices at 5pm. I noticed the National guard on this visit.

We were craving coffee and couldn't be happier to get off at metro center and immediately be greeted with this location! They have fun drink options to choose from and I was so delighted with the flavors. The food options also looked great although I wasn't in the mood for food!

Listen I'm all for a good matcha and listen this Mango Matcha I had from here was delicious buttttttttttt honeyyyyyy the way my little 16oz drink was just ice I will never spend $7 on a cup of 3 sips and everything ICE again!!!!! Literally my whole cup was ice!!! I know I took 3 sips and my drink was gone! But next no ice or separate cup for ice! Drink was delicious atmosphere was lively and employees was super sweet! But over all I paid for really $7 worth of ice!!! I will be back tho I wanna try some other things!!!

Great cup of coffee in the city! Strong taste, flavorful and not watered down. Efficient service and the decor is fun and cool. A great spot to work or study. Definitely pop in next time you're in the area.

11/30/2025 - Sunday night and a wonderful person helped me. My first time here. If you enter the right hand side door there is a step to a lower level. Watch out! Take the door to the left to enter and exit. No step and go order. I ordered a 16 oz Latte. No issues. Very good and great service. Very clean and vibrant inside. They are open 7 days a week and open at 7am. They plan to open at 6am down the road.

*Updated Review Been coming here regularly for our morning coffee run! My previous review reflected my disappointment with the service. It's been much better. I like the flavors of their coffee. The seasonal drinks are good. Kinda pricey but I find myself still coming.

Good coffee shop in the Metro Center area. I had an oat milk latte and my friend had a burrito. The food/coffee were good, though a little pricey. I'd rather go to Tatte for a better latte, but it's decent if you don't want to walk up there or want to avoid the crowd. Vibe is good, love the decor. Overlooks the metro, so not a great view but that's not their fault. Service was prompt.

Cute coffee shop near metro center, with the cutest names for their coffees! Super busy midday!

Came here during our sighting tour in Washington. It's a small nice café. We had a flat white, an americano and two spinach feta pastries. Everything was good and staff was nice. As we had no plates and disposable cups only, I take a star off, giving 4 well meant stars.

Super cute shop! Staff is friendly and the matcha tea was super yummy! Quick service and super cute to sit inside!

It's fine. Nothing distinguishes it from a half dozen other cafes in the neighborhood. The pastry selection seems above average.

Ran across this place while looking for the UPS store. I was in the mood for some sort of pastry…read moreso, I popped in. This is a very small bakery but, there were many ppl in line so I figured it would be pretty good. I went in for something sweet as it was about 8 in the morning but, there were scones, fresh out of the oven that I had to try. I got the cheddar and chive scones. OmG. So warm and good. Crisp edges and soft and fluffy everywhere else. I ate it in minutes. This would go amazing with a side of pasta. My goodness. 10 out of 10. When I am back in the area, I'll try a warm Blueberry scone.

We were lucky enough to snag some goodies and got a bit of everything, we just weren't patient enough to wait to photograph everything. We did the Za'atar Gruyère Croissant, chocolate croissant, the cheese biscuit item they had (don't remember exact name) and the sfogliatelle. I'm in search of the best croissant in DC, so I regret not getting the regular croissant on this visit, but the chocolate croissant gave me an idea of what to expect. Buttery, flaky, crispy, with just the perfect amount of sweetness. The typical chocolate croissant was my personal favorite. When we asked what the most popular items were, we were surprised it wasn't the more classic bakery items, but we enjoyed what we tried. We want to go back soon to try some other items as well. My friend got a coffee and also enjoyed that! This is the perfect place to stop by for a treat if you make it in time!

While wandering around downtown DC on a morning walk, I spotted this Zeke's on 15th from a block…read moreaway and made it mission to swing by on the way back to my hotel, and I'm glad I did! This Zeke's, which is one of several around SC, is small featuring a few indoor and outdoor tables, a standing rail, counter and a few merch/coffee shelves. It's plenty of space, especially for the area, but I did notice that the line backs up out the door very easily. But even with that, they moved pretty quick, so you are never waiting too long for the goods. From entry to exit, with coffee in hand, I was in store roughly 3 minutes. They have all your favorites and classics of a good coffee shop plus a few house curated drinks. I was after an iced latte and added oat milk and SF sugar syrup. The latte was simple, but so tasty! The vibes are good. Chill and relaxed, while being uniquely local. Overall, really enjoyed my brief experience at Zeke's...and equally enjoyed my latte! Would definitely visit this or another Zeke's when back in DC.

Lovely spot for a quick bite and a coffee before heading off to see the sights!…read more Zeke's is in the heart of downtown, so it's just a short walk to the White House / Washington Monument / Reflecting Pool and so many other sites. I had a maple latte and this was so delicious. A bit sweeter than I'd have wanted, but still definitely hit the spot. The pastries were also top tier and we had some realty tasty croissants and muffins. There's a good amount of seating inside and out. A quick review for a quick and pleasant experience!
