The coffee shop is right up the street from my job and I love it! Today I wasn't exactly in the mood for an iced coffee or latte, instead I opted for a probiotics health drink. The strawberry lavender kombucha was great the last time that I had it, so I got it again today. Along with a nice banana muffin made for a nice start of the day. The cafe is just the perfect size, unlike a huge cafeteria style cafe, and nothing corporate at all about this place. The outdoor seating is in direct sight of the park which is awesome! The area has been cleaned up a lot over the past couple of months which has made everything around here so much better.

I unfortunately was not a fan of my drink. I ordered a pandan iced latte. There wasn't a strong pandan flavor (perhaps asking for extra syrup would help). I also thought it was a bit watered down. I've heard such great things about this place so maybe it was just a bad day. I think it's worth trying because others have had such good experiences.

Started off our 2nd day in DC with a wonderful coffee from DUA. Now I'm just a regular chai latte kind of guy, but DUA is an Indonesian specialty coffee shop and it looked like they served some amazing specialty coffees. My iced chai latte was so good and refreshing. Service was good/no frills. I'm ok with that. Cute shop up front. Looks like there was more space in the back. Will definitely come back on our next trip to DC.

My favorite coffee shop in DC so far, by far. Dua DC is an Indonesian-coffee shop serving delicious coffee and amazing vibes -- the kind that remind you life is beautiful. They were playing bossa and jazz. I opted for the Aren latte and Indonesian beef rissole. Aren latte: 5/5 Latte with an in-house made Aren (palm sugar from West Java) for that hint of molasses and dark brown sugar This was one of my favorite coffees I've had in a while. There was a delicious coffee taste not overshadowed but rather enhanced by the smoky sweet taste of the Aren. I'll be thinking about this latte for a while. Indonesian beef rissole: 3/5 Batter-like skin rolled in breadcrumbs filled with savory ground halal beef & sautéed vegetables While I've never had this dish before, I googled pictures of what it should look like, and mine seemed to have significantly less meat than it should've. The taste was still delicious and seasoned and hearty, but it was mostly mush with some veggies and hardly any beef. While I thought the rissole was disappointing, I love the aren latte so much I'll still keep the 5 star review.

Dua Coffee was delicious, we got the Oat Pandan Cold Brew and the Aren Latte. Both had unique flavors and left us wanting more. I wish both of these came in a 44 oz cup because I could sip on that all day. Definitely will be riding my E-Bike back to this place. Service was quick, and the area to work was a bit tight but luckily a spot opened up as soon as we got out drinks. Overall a nice looking coffee shop with a nice outdoor sitting area.

Went specifically for their mango matcha and loved it! I will definitely be back to try another matcha here.

I ended up going to Dua DC Coffee 3 times during my visit here and ended up ordering their coffee beans and shipping a couple of bags to my home. I have been to a good amount of coffee shops and was very surprised with how great the coffee was here. No bitterness, just a smooth coffee drink that kept me coming back for more. The space itself is medium sized, with a couple of tables and seating options. The staff took about 10 minutes probably to make the coffee. Overall, I would come back every time I visit DC for the taste of the coffee. It was 5/5 excellent!

OH MY-- if i could spend all my money here i would. The aren latte semi sweet is truly a gem and gift to the dc area. Please open in nyc!!! I will visit every week. Service is also fantastic as the barista took care of my needs.

Cute little spot facing a square! Smaller inside with some room to work in the back. Service was quick and the drinks were really good. I'm a fan favorite of the Aren latte, hot. Definitely hit the spot.

On spot cortado, better coffee than many chains in the area. We've tried the Aren Latte and Kopi Su in the past, both different and memorable. Regret not getting two onion cheese empanadas instead of one, they are so good. Perfect pick me up with your 11 am coffee. We were coffee/cafe hopping and craving a bagel by our second stop, glad to find one here. Cheddar Jalapeno cream cheese has enough heat to complement the crunchy bagel. Enough seating inside. Ordering is made easy with the big screen menu right before you order at the counter. Service is quick and friendly, crowded for the sunday morninh but then it was the holiday weekend.

I always park across the street from this place, but today I decided to give it a try, and it was such a nice surprise. It's an Indonesian coffee shop with a beautiful atmosphere, great decoration, and a friendly staff that really knows a lot about coffee. I watched the short video at the front, which was very interesting. I loved the coffee, and I think you would love it too.

I needed coffee to kick start my day and ended up at Dua DC coffee. This cute coffee shop serves up a variety of lattes iced or hot, dripped coffees, and signature drinks. During this visit I got their kopi susu, one of their Indonesian signature drinks. It had the right balance of coffee and sweetness (light). I tried their pour overs on previous visits and like them too. Service is good and friendly. Seating inside, but limited.

This might be my favorite coffee I've tried in DC so far! Try an iced pandan oat milk latte! You won't regret it.

We were lucky enough to snag some goodies and got a bit of everything, we just weren't patient enough to wait to photograph everything. We did the Za'atar Gruyère Croissant, chocolate croissant, the cheese biscuit item they had (don't remember exact name) and the sfogliatelle. I'm in search of the best croissant in DC, so I regret not getting the regular croissant on this visit, but the chocolate croissant gave me an idea of what to expect. Buttery, flaky, crispy, with just the perfect amount of sweetness. The typical chocolate croissant was my personal favorite. When we asked what the most popular items were, we were surprised it wasn't the more classic bakery items, but we enjoyed what we tried. We want to go back soon to try some other items as well. My friend got a coffee and also enjoyed that! This is the perfect place to stop by for a treat if you make it in time!

As someone who works in the industry and is very familiar with coffee and coffee shops, I was genuinely shocked by how rude and unprofessional the staff was. I ordered a house latte with an extra double shot, which made it a quad shot, and I also paid for extra ice and requested that it be served in a large cup. It wasn't a complicated order. When I saw a drink come up, I politely asked, "Is that mine by any chance?" The barista immediately told me to "hush" and said, "I'm not talking to you." I found that incredibly disrespectful and completely unacceptable. When my drink was finally handed to me, I simply asked if the quad shot had been added since I had paid extra for it. Instead of answering my question, the barista ignored me entirely, and another employee had to respond. The employee, Taleisha Young, who was wearing glasses, was especially rude throughout the interaction. No customer should be spoken to that way, especially when they're simply asking about an order they paid extra to customize. Customer service and professionalism should be a priority, and this experience fell far below that standard. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and I will be sharing my experience on other review platforms as well. I hope management addresses the behavior of its staff so other customers don't have a similar experience.
