Love the fries! I was quite pleasantly surprised with this place. I have only had the buffalo chicken fries but they were the bomb! I have also tried the "Golden" version (with the spicy yellow mustard added) and those were also super good, a little different for those that like a change. The people at the counter were friendly and helpful. Food came out hot and made it home with the fries still crunchy. Can't ask for anything more. Portion size was good, they have regular and large. I've been to the location in Westminster so when I hopped on Yelp and saw that a new location was opening in Fullerton, I had to drive down right away to get some. This location is much closer than the other ones but is still about a 20 minute drive for me. If you are a fan of Asian fusion flavors and chicken wings, there's no excuse for you to NOT check out SoCal Wings. They have a huge variety of flavors for any palate. There are the basic flavors like garlic parmesan, lemon pepper, and buffalo. But they also have unique ones like honey garlic sriracha, red curry, and house special that you won't find at BWW or Wingstop. My favorites would definitely be the House Special and Honey Garlic Sriracha. The house special flavor tastes very similar to the house special chicken you would find at Chinese takeout spots. It has a deep caramel undertone without it being overly sweet and is savory at the same time. The jalapeños add a nice pop of heat and freshness. The Honey Garlic Sriracha lowkey tastes like a sweet, sour, and spicy chicken. Kinda like a spicy orange chicken in a way. The sauce is acidic but is balanced with the slight spice. I don't really taste the honey but it's still a good flavor. The wings are fried with no batter which I prefer more than wings with a thick breading. You are able to actually taste the fresh chicken. When done right you'll still be able to achieve a light crisp on the chicken skin. SoCal Wings definitely does this right. The chicken is fresh and isn't fried to death so it maintains a juicy interior. They also aren't skimpy on the sauce so you won't find any dry spots on the chicken if you order a wet sauce. With that being said, you have to eat them right away if you care about the crispy chicken skin. Since the wings are extra saucy, they will tend to get soggy quicker. They also have a nice selection of fruit based drinks on their menu but I love Green Thai Tea so I always order that if I see it on a menu. Definitely a solid green Thai tea. Not too sweet and you can still taste the tea. I definitely feel like you get your money's worth. The size of the wings are very generous and the flavor makes it worth every penny. Service was alright, nothing out of the ordinary, but they only just opened so not going to knock them down for that. Such a great wing spot for wing lovers, highly recommend! Good selection of flavors, well cooked chicken with lots of flavor, and decent prices earn them 5 stars. read more

Decided to try a new wing place and found this on Yelp. Craving some Lemon Pepper wings and based on reviews decided to try this place. Located in a strip mall anchored by a CVS there is ok parking and it was not busy. The person taking the order seemed to be annoyed that I had questions on the menu so I awkwardly ordered some flavors I order at other chicken shops. The texture and flavor of the wings was a bit of surprise. It's not bad but it's not my preference for wings. The flavor was ok and the wings were on the smaller side. Perhaps I went on an off day... Since our favorite wing place close down probably due to Covid in Brea California we have been and search for a great wing restaurants and we found it at SoCal wings. We had the barbecue sauce wings Aloha wings and garlic butter Parmesan wings all bone in. Also we had an order of garlic fries if you are a big garlic love her you will love the garlic fries. Also we tried a delicious drink that they had on display call the carnival Apple and the dreamsicle. Very delicious I highly recommend SoCal wings he will not be disappointed enjoy. Very cute wing shop. I love how they package their wings in a tray so it's easy to carry. Food was good and I love their sauces.

I got 15 wings and a small potato bowl for around $30 ish I placed the phone order and she said it would be ready in 15 min which is pretty good imo. I got the garlic parm dry rub and my boyfriend got the buffalo wet rub. I didn't really like the garlic park i feel like there wasn't much flavor in it but my bf really like his flavor. However i really enjoyed the potato bowl it was what i enjoyed the most super flavorful and many topping like cheese, sour cream, green onion and bacon. the sizes of the wings were definitely smaller in compared to the bigger chains like wingstop or bdubs. overall pretty okay place but i wouldn't go out of my way for it read more

Love their fried rice and garlic noodles, I don't usually get meat in them and they are good enough on their own with larger portion sizes. Their popcorn chicken with dynamite seasoning is my favorite. It's not overwhelmingly spicy and pairs well with the crisp and juiciness of the fried chicken. They pack it well to where it's still hot and crispy once I get home (around a 15-20 minute drive). For sides I recommend the waffle fries and the corn fritters when they have them. Their Wolly Rancher drink is sweet and cold and perfect for a hot day. Service has always been quick and incredibly friendly, but I've also never come through when it's been busy. I haven't physically been to the restaurant since we ordered through GH for delivery. I was glad the chicken wings arrived hot and crispy. We ordered the house special wings which were really good. It had a nice sweet and salty flavor with a mild spicy kick from the jalapeños. You can't have wings without some cajun fries or tater tots. The sides are not bad. I would skip the dipping sauces because they were watered down and tasteless. We previously ordered from here so I have tried other wing flavors: lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, and mango habanero. The only one worth getting is the lemon pepper. The other ones were lacking flavor. They have plenty of options on the menu. Wings are always a good idea especially on game day. The deals here are awesome on different days, and they always are on top of the speedy and great service ordering via phone or in person. Not only do they carry amazing wings here as the name would suggest, they also have a great variety of drinks that are unique and fun. I love the Orange Creamsicle slush, it tastes exactly as you'd expect it to. My fiancee loves the aloha passion and the fizzy cooler, and it's great that you can add different bobas or jellies. They also have one of my favorite more rare teas here - Green Thai Tea. It is floral, sweet, and perfect. My favorite wing flavors here are the garlic sesame, house special, and buffalo gold. Their wings are cooked perfectly every time. The sides are also to die for, their regular and waffle fries are so worth ordering the large size. Great texture and seasoning! I hope to try some different sides sometime but the fries call to me every time. One stand out item I wasn't expecting to be so enamored of here is their popcorn chicken. I loooooove popcorn chicken that you can get with the light asian five spice flavor, and you can get a side of any of their sauces for dipping. I looooove wings (FLATS OVER DRUMS) and I love me a good, juicy wing with lots of sauce. SoCal Wings checks off all the points on my list for a good wing. My friend and I ordered the Family Pack of 20 wings to share. We got the Honey Sriracha Garlic and Garlic Parmesan with cajun fries and jalapeno poppers with cheddar. We saw pictures of the Garlic Parmesan on Yelp and was instantly drawn to it because of how there is a generous amount of grated parmesan sprinkled on top of the wings. Who can say no to that? However, after trying it out, I wish they added a bit more garlic flavor to the rub. It's good for sure but once you get past the cheese, there wasn't much flavor. The Honey Sriracha Garlic on the other hand was super saucy so I loved it! The sides were also really good and they don't skimp out on portions. I loved the cajun fries because they actually got a bit of a kick to it (think of one step above Boiling Crab cajun fries medium but not up to XXX). They offer cream cheese or cheddar for the jalapeno popper filling and they're decently sized jalapenos with lots of filling and a perfectly crispy batter. TLDR; Solid wings and sides!
