First time here. All the food was delicious. Chicken had a lot of flavor. The potato salad and rice were also really good. I loved the salsa. I got 3 different ones and the red was my favorite (I think it was the hottest). The place was really clean on the inside and the staff were all really friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Great place to have a quick lunch bite. Much better quality than some of the bigger chain restaurants. Quick service, fresh food and super clean restaurant. All their salsas are delicious.

Good pricing, value, and taste. The sides are well above what I expect. Split the family, 2 chickens for 3 guys and we each had a tray that we couldn't finish and 3 large sides. Nice seating. Tortilla and salsa. Paid 17 after tax tip but quite high quality. Chicken is unique compared to anything I've tried. Give it B+ Mostly juicy and tender, good to eat with tortilla, salsa, and sides. Bathroom and water/soda machine out of order. Solid chicken place! They have even cheaper deals if you want tons of chicken. 24 for 2 whole chicken + tortilla and salsa if I recall...

Great customer service, fresh & delicious food. The owner is very friendly. My family and I have stopped in here quite a few times and have tried the majority of the menu. The whole chicken deals, especially on Tuesday are worth the price and then some. I most recently tried the teriyaki bowl. It had really good flavor and was made to order. The veggies were perfectly cooked. Pollos is worth a try.

Best chicken in town and great service and real fresh. Support your local small businesses! They have bomb everything! Can't wait to come back for more. The owner is an awesome guy!

Inside- very clean and friendly owners! 9/22/22

Used to come here for rotisserie chicken. I think they have change to a new owner, a brand new open kitchen and seating areas. New owner / staffs are friendly, and inside is pretty clean! They have lunch specials starts with $5.99 which is pretty good deal! I ordered the Mini Meal Pack which comes with 1 whole rotisserie chicken, 3 small sides( choose from potato salads, rice or beans) , plus the complimentary tortillas ( corn or flour) peco de gallo( salsa fresco) , green and red hot sauces! *The rotisserie chicken - Good quality of chicken , no heavily seasoning ,crispy skin , tender inside, flavorful and not overly oily/salty. The leg was my favorite part of the chicken, crispy skin and juicy meats! The breast part might be slightly drier but still good. *Side dish- Potato salads( served cold) - Cold, creamy and slightly sweet mashed potato with eggs, carrots, green onion ,cucumber and mayo, so good! *Side dish- Steamed rice -is good too, not the regular steamed white rice, seem like they used broth to cook it. *Tortillas( Corn/ Flour) The flour tortillas is warm and soft, perfect for wrapping the rotisserie chicken! *Peca de gallo Fresh and Refreshing ! It's mixtures of raw diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro, limes , jalapeños and salt. Definitely coming back to try more on the menu!

I don't know what happened here. Reading the reviews and the fact that this was explained as a possible Korean/Mexican fusion place I am really disappointed. The photos I have attached are their honey garlic wings and original. As you can see they are burnt to hell along with the fries I couldn't even distinguish original from honey garlic. I don't know how they thought it was ok to serve this to us. We spent over $50 in here and i wish I had spent it at a real Korean Fried chicken place. I could only stomach two wings before I told myself to stop and leave. We also got potato salad, that had no seasoning just boiled potato flavor. The bulgogi taco was ok I'd give that a three stars. Come here at your own discretion but I highly recommend staying away from their fried foods because my mouth tastes like I licked an ash tray.

You need to add your own salt which is provided on the table. It's a simple and filling soup. The Galbi Tang is flavorful with lots of meat. You also add your own salt. This is one of my go to "sick dishes" as it's very comforting. Their Yuk Gae Jang is SO GOOD. It's definitely my favorite here. It's the perfect amount of spice. It's filled with meat, noodles, and veggies. The flavor of the broth itself is so yummy and when rice is added, one bowl can be stretched to three full meals. I had this dish last week and I actually can't stop thinking about it. Overall everything here has been delicious and the portions are very generous. The banchan includes 3 dishes: radish kimchi, kimchi, and mustard greens kimchi. All have fish sauce. Service 10/10 Servers are quick, efficient, and attentive. They brought extra bowls and without being asked, brought serving spoons and scissors to cut the noodles with. I have a fish/seafood allergy and I appreciate them taking it seriously and letting me know which foods they recommended I stay away from although they did not know for certain. I wish they knew which dishes had fish/seafood so I knew for sure what was allergy safe, but I understand that it's impossible to know the ingredients of every dish. Ambiance 8/10 I've been coming here since the pandemic days when they had outdoor seating and it's always very neat, clean, and pretty quiet as well. There is plenty of parking and lots of other dessert, drink, and food places nearby. Even though it's almost 90 degrees outside, I've been craving their Yuk Gae Jang and can't wait till my next visit!

The interior is clean, newly built, and has a modern Korean hanok-style look. The servers were also friendly both times, so I didn't have any issues with the service or atmosphere. Unfortunately, the main problem for me was the food. I've eaten at the LA location before and never really thought the food tasted bad there, but at this Buena Park location, both visits gave me the impression that the food didn't taste as fresh as it should. On my most recent visit, I ordered the soondae gukbap, and the soondae had an unpleasant off smell and didn't taste very fresh. It almost tasted like it had been sitting for a while. On my first visit, I tried the regular pork gukbap, and the pork flavor was also stronger than I personally prefer. I do tend to like cleaner-tasting gukbap, but this stood out to me because I don't remember having the same issue at the LA location. After the first visit, I thought maybe it was just an off day since the restaurant was still new. But after having a similar impression on my second visit, I'm not sure if this location is consistent yet. The space is nice and the service was good, but for a gukbap restaurant, the food has to be the main reason to come back. Based on my two visits, this location was disappointing for me.

The meal starts with what feels like an endless lineup of little side dishes, a fried fish, rice in a scorching hot stone bowl, and then the bubbling tofu soup (medium spice for me) arrives like it's angry at the table. I ordered the bulgogi combo (C2) and everything was flavorful, comforting, and honestly just fun to eat. OK maybe a few too many onions for me. The stone pot rice situation was an adventure on its own. They ask you if you want them to pour hot water into the bowl to loosen the crispy rice stuck to the sides. I tried it. Felt very authentic. Still not fully convinced my rookie self handled it correctly, but we survived. What I liked most was the atmosphere and adventure. You can tell this place has a loyal following and there's a reason Yelp absolutely loves it. It feels authentic without being intimidating, and the portions are no joke. I took home enough leftovers for round two the next day. If you've only done Korean BBQ before, this is a completely different experience and definitely worth trying. Bring friends, come hungry, and don't be afraid to look a little confused your first time. Apparently that's part of the experience. Easy 5 stars for me. P. S.
