Quick Take: A local staple that's been around for years with amazing food and a nice street charm to it. Highly recommend! They deserve a lot more business than what they currently get. Vibe: Mos No 2 ("Mos 2") is an Anaheim staple with only outdoor seating and the building itself being just the kitchen. The outdoor seating is in a fenced area immediately adjacent to the street (W Lincoln Ave) which offers its own charm especially for folks like me who grew up eating street food. Most of the crowd are locals which results in people sometimes running into each other by chance. Food & Drinks: The food here is amazing and this shop is definitely deserving of more hype. I highly recommend checking out this spot -- they're definitely deserving of more customers. I got the chicken platter, and you can have the option of getting the chicken with the skin on. Tha platter comes with the grilled chicken, a bed of rice under it, salad, sauce, a fried dumpling, and a fried spring roll. All of it is nicely cooked/prepared. I'd recommend getting it with tapatio and mixing it with once container's worth of their teriyaki sauce (usually comes with three, but one teriyaki sauce container is enough; both are free). For ~$2 more, you can get some pickled carrots and pickled jalapeños that are both great. Work-Friendliness: There are no outlets/wifi/quiet areas for you to do remote work at. This spot is purely just a restaurant, so I wouldn't recommend doing work here. I'd recommend the nearby Tai Tea x The V boba shop instead. Getting There: There's a bus stop close to it that's a 4-minute walk away. If you're driving, they do have a parking lot that you can access either via W Lincoln Ave or an alleyway on the east side of S West St. The parking lot gets somewhat busy, but there's an abundance of parking spots available for customers to park at. If parking runs out, you can try parking down S West St. Service: Really great and straightforward service from the staff! They're nice, straightforward, casual, and friendly all at once. Kitchen staff are also accommodating if you're like me and you happen to want minor modification requests to your order -- but the menu options are already amazing as is. They also conveniently offer a drive-thru for those looking for a quick grab and go meal. I ordered the chicken and beef teriyaki plate, and I would generally describe it as quite average. I will have to say my experience was okay. The service was quick I will have the say. The food was the issue the beef was a bit on the dry side and the chicken was okay and the salad felt like it was missing something. The egg roll that was included was soggy and mushy in the inside. The outside patio is clean and the now accept card payment when before it was known as cash only. They also have combo plates with shrimp and scallops, etc. They've got chicken, beef, and pork, but I think chicken is the way to go. You can ask for skin-on, if you prefer, but it's a little fatty and weird. The medium-sized bowl is perfect for a full meal and they don't skimp on the chicken. Admittedly, it's not the greatest quality chicken. But put it on a bed of rice with green onions on top along with their rich, syrupy molasses-like sauce, and the dish is pretty great. Good food but Service was better before . They charge $.50 cents for xtra sauce which are super small when they give you 3 sauces for a medium bowel. They charge for refills too $1 plus tax depending on size of drink . Cheaper to buy soda next door or bring your own if your going to eat outside .
