To the comments about hospitality, I just want to mention, ITS NOT A RESTAURANT, this is more of a to go place. You order your food, they fill it to the top and MORE, and you go about your day. I don't come here for the chit chat or exceptional service, just by coming in you can see that. I like that this place is like that. I like that they overfill your plates and are at an affordable price. For 3 large sides it was only $25, that easily fed 4 people! You don't see these kinds of prices anywhere else and the portions. Had my first long awaited visit here, attempted to enjoy the dine in experience.. The price is pretty decent for the amount of food they serve up. The chow mein and fried rice were really good, but shouldn't be the best part of the meal in my opinion. Sadly, they were the only choices I truly enjoyed.. The orange chicken was soggy AF and overly sweet. The teriyaki chicken was overcooked, someone was at it with too high of a heat level. The broccoli beef was decent, but the slimy texture made me fear I would be feeling it later. The egg rolls were fine, nothing special but they held me over.. No water cups. They'll offer to sell you a pricey bottle of water though. I'm not happy about that. The girl beind the counter is abrupt to the point of rude and can't seem to be bothered by anything other than making your order and taking your money and telling you no water cup. I'll probably be back from time to time because it's close to work, but the manners and no water cup will ensure that this stores will always be a 6th or 7th option behind the many places there are to eat around here. I always drive past this place on my work commute, so I stopped in and grabbed an orange chicken bowl to go for my grandpa, since he was not going to be included in our date night haha. I was very impressed with this place. Everything was fresh, nothing looked like it had been sitting there for hours. When I got home and served him his food, I took a quick bite. It was so good! Very good quality and very flavorful. The following week, I ordered 2 boxes of food to go for the 3 of us. We all loved it! The orange chicken was once again fresh and delicious. The shrimp fried rice is cooked to order. SO GOOD! The shrimp has a light coating on it and it was one of the best I've had. The chicken skewers were also juicy and fresh. Wonderful place here that opened not too long ago. I actually wanted to come here for a while but I had another place I usually went to but it was closed so I wanted to try this finally and it was great! Super fast too going in, you can get the 2 item combo within about 2 minutes of walking in and placing your order and you're out the door! Anyway, I really like how their chicken wings and the fried shrimp look but I usually always get orange chicken at these kinds of Chinese food places just cause I can never make that usually due to the frying along with some other dish. The two times I've come here I got the jalapeno chicken and also some sort of spicy fried chicken. I loved both! The spicy one that is on the right side in the front is probably my fave however. The staff is super nice but the noise from the cooking area behind can sometimes drown you out so make sure you are VERY clear when you are talking to them. I like this place. In fact it's the best and cleanest Chinese take out place in the area. The only thing I took a star away from was that I saw one of the chefs opening a box of ingredients using a long two pronged fork. I'm not sure if he washed it afterwards or not but I just didn't like seeing that... The good thing is that they have an open kitchen where you can see they keep it pretty clean. The fried rice was on the lower flavor side but it's not bad and easily fixed with soy sauce to your own liking. Some people like these options. read more
