Get this spot on your radar fast! Love love love, this little Chinese food spot next to Vallarta Market. Why this place should be on your radar well let me tell you... Fresh! Pipping hot fresh food, homemade quality you can taste. Dude even the vegetables are fire! Nothing like some stir-fried veggies and savory, spicy proteins. This is like Panda Express ten times better. The spicy beef has been my favorite entree thus far. But I'm still exploring the menu. So far every entree I've tried has been fresh fire and on point with the vegetables. Now let's talk portions, you get your moneys worth and then some. Literally packed to the brim full. I don't know how they fit all that food in there... This keeps getting better, let's talk about the price outrageously cheap! These guys could probably charge more but they haven't and it's amazingly good. Every plate comes with a fresh spring roll, and guys I haven't tried the bobas yet so stay tuned for a review update. These guys are so friendly and have a big smile every time I come in. Restaurant is smaller but has a decent seating for indoor dining as well as hanging out with your friends while enjoying some of the smoothies and bobas they have. They are a newer restaurant to the area so come in a give them a shot. If you know the Chinese place near Anaheim high school this place is just as good if not better than that one. I came here about 30 minutes before closing (I know im terrible) and they were very welcoming. The store was in a weird place in the corner, and the decorations were not top notch. But I got the mangonada and the banana strawberry, and they were both so delicious. We got a 3 item combo ($9.69), which is such a deal especially with inflation. You don't find a meal for under $10 that could feed you 2 meals with leftovers. Summary: 5 stars for a small business Chinese takeout, based on food and price, which for me, outweighed any external things some people might mind I love to find small businesses for Chinese takeout, and this is looking to be my favorite of the ones I've tried! This place was the most delicious of the ones I've had, which may not seem impressive, but I love good food of many cultures and from fast food to "gourmet." Good taste is good taste in my book; I don't like judging food by snooty standards! The proof: normally I'm a very slow eater, but this food tasted so good I had to be very conscious to pace myself the second time I went here, because the first time I went so fast/ate a bit beyond what I needed, that I got a stomachache after Aside from the food, the prices are comparatively reasonable, ranging around $10-$16 for a 1-3 entree combo plate, if I remember correctly. The portions are generous, so the price is very worth it. They take card now and tap to pay!!, which if you've been to other Chinese food small businesses, some are cash only. The indoors is very standard of most small Chinese takeout places; humble, nothing too standout. It's neat and clean and they have little treats. Unfortunately the outside/general area could be deterring, as some people who hang around this block are disrespectful to public areas (littering next to trash can, etc) but I don't fault the business. Many, if not most?, of us can't afford to move and aren't the ones doing those things.. it is what it is. The service is standard which is all I care about, no rudeness or anything, and I don't expect service employees to act like they're happy and excited all the time. I'm not even sure where to start with this place. I found it 2 days ago from someone on tiktok. I saw it was a 25 minute drive and decided to try it out with my boyfriend. The inside of the store is super clean and there are a lot of cute decorations. They have a bunch of signs posted all over the restaurant of the menu items, so ordering it easy. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. Also the nice lady who helped us was so sweet and helpful (and she offered us samples!). We got chow mein, rice, orange chicken, bbq pork, sweet and sour pork, teriyaki chicken, cream cheese wontons, spring rolls, and their signature boba milk tea from their milk tea bar. We first tried the boba while they packed our order and all I can say is wow. I think it's genuinely the best milk tea I've ever had (and I drink a lot of milk tea lol). We tried to wait until we got home to try the food but it smelled so good we couldn't, so we had some appetizers on the way. I had a cream cheese wonton with the sweet & sour sauce and it was soooooo good. We then tried the veggie egg rolls and I've never had such good egg rolls! They come with 4 per order and they're huge! So fresh too! I think the best part was the crunch; the outside was super super crunchy and the veggies inside were cooked to perfection -- not soggy or mushy at all! I don't eat meat so my mom and bf ate all the meat items and they had great things to say. My mom (who's supposed to be on a diet lol) couldn't stop eating her sweet & sour pork! The nice lady who helped us also threw in some chicken egg rolls for us to try and my boyfriend loved them. This place is for sure a 10/10, we will be back!
