I had a great time at China Kitchen! My son and grandchild invited me because they know how much I love Chinese food, and I'm so glad they did. The restaurant was very clean, which I really appreciated, and we were greeted right away when we arrived. The customer service was good, about a 7/10, but I think there is a little room for improvement. The food was fresh and delicious! Orange chicken is one of my favorites, although I think they could improve it just a little. Overall, I felt very comfortable there and really enjoyed spending time with my family. Would I go back? Absolutely! I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more of their food.

Located in a small plaza with easy parking. Clean restaraunt and nice service. Kung Pao Chicken: Tasty flavor mixed with the the usual vegetables, liked it overall Beef and brocolli: Tender beef and brocolli cooked just right. Fried Rice: Solid and good. Chow Mein: Noodles were too firm and was too salty for my likings. Crab legs: Sweet and Savory, but lacked a hit of flavor I wanted. Overall friendly service and good food meant to be shared.

Food was incredibly fresh and tasty! My husband and I ordered a good amount of food and we both enjoyed every dish! Parking was easy, no wait to be seated on a Thursday evening and service was prompt and also checked up on us throughout the meal. Szechuan eggplant - so yum, arrived piping hot, it was coated in a super thin breading first before being fried and then coated in the Szechuan sauce. Slightly spicy, tangy and sweet, the classic Szechuan eggplant. Fish with veggies - loved how light but flavorful this dish was. Tender fish filet with garlic and a bunch of veggies, doesn't look very flavorful but it was very good! Would get again as a lighter dish compared to the others. Garlic pork - 魚香肉絲 this is typically my favorite dish in Chinese restaurants and saw it titled similarly in the menu but realized it's not cut into 絲 and it included celery, which the dish typically does not include. Not complaining though, the flavor was still great and I loved the dish, just different than what I expected. Sesame chicken - similar to orange chicken but without the orange flavor. Came piping hot and had good pieces of chicken within the breading. Sweet and sour, liked the flavor alot. The dishes came with rice! Would totally come back again to try the other dishes. Happy to find a local spot where I can get Chinese food as there are not too many options around here.

Will update with food pictures and my thoughts on the food. So far so good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I hope she didn't get annoyed that i did not choose her recs but at the last second i decided for the house fried rice and some Hong Kong BBQ pork buns. Place looks very clean and has some cool decor, plus the pescado gang protects the customers so that's a big plus. UPDATE: everything was amazing, i ended up eating half my rice and 1 of the dumplings, then last night got hungry late and polished off the rice cold (so good) today i reheated the pork buns in my air fryer with a little bit of garlic butter and it was fantastic. Highly recommend those items and I'm definitely excited to go back and try other plates

The food here is actually pretty good. I was surprised and how tasty the honey walnuy shrimp and the standard orange chicken is was. Cooked perfectly. The fried rice stole the show. I was expecting any other fried rice, but this spots fried rice is tasty and not too salty. Just the right amount of umami. I'm so happy we found a late night Chinese spot.

Wow!!!! Ok, I love Chinese food and like trying places. I'm sure glad I came here!!! Even my wife was happy and saying this is good, she's hard to please haha. We wanted the lunch special, but they started ending it at 2pm( take note) We ordered the -compo chicken w side of white rice -spicy orange chicken( mild nice) w white rice -veggi egg rolls ($41.) Everything is shareable, interior of location is clean, tables well maintained, floor is clean. Great location and food and staff. Keep up the good work and shall be back

Obviously kept seeing them on IG, the Ads, the DTF comparisons soooooo, we went. It's ok, to compare yourself to DTF is a bold statement, and you have to live up to them, and this place did not. Service was good, it was not busy what so ever and there is enough parking in the front and rear of the business. They have some good dishes, ok dishes, dishes that have potential and just plain bad ones. Their stir fried spinach with garlic was amazing! Best dish we had. The chow mein would have been very good if it wasn't so salty. The house fried rice was good but lacked flavor. Beef soup was ok, best part of the flavor for me was the bok choy. The Mongolian beef could have been so good if the beef to onion ratio wasn't 30/70. Dumplings were good, my spicy pork ones were spicy but i feel like they were taken out of a package, steamed and then served to us. The restaurant is small and they have some music playing. Is it worth the hype? No. Once is good enough for me to go and try. Good luck to them though.

was craving some taiwanese food but didn't want to wait for the line at din tai fung at downtown disney, this is a short 6 min distance drive which is very convenient! this place is amazing since they provide fair and reasonable price! each dish had a fair amount of seeet and savory. this is a small parking lot but shouldn't be too busy. service is great when they checkup on your status. i would definitely come here again!

I really like: Beef Chow Fun I like: Honey Glazed Walnut This was ok: Custard Bunny Bun The beef chow fun is pretty good. Solid flavor, a good amount of beef, and I really appreciate that they pack the to go container completely full. The honey glazed walnut is also fairly good. The flavor is nice and it pairs well with rice, but it does lose its crunch pretty quickly in a to go order. The custard bunny bun is fine. Nothing bad, just nothing particularly memorable. Overall a decent spot when you want something reliable and filling. Service was quick for take out.

My family and I were visiting Disney and we were craving Chinese food. This place got pretty decent reviews so we thought we'd check it out. We ordered a few items off the menu. I thought most of the items we ordered were pretty good. But there some things that could've been better. Skip the seafood boil. The shrimp was overcooked and there was no flavor at all. Also, the sausage that we added tasted more of a Costco beef hot dog than andouille sausage. For some reason, our sweet and sour pork came out without the sauce which I thought was weird so I had to ask for the sauce and it took a bit for them to come out. Also, service was pretty nonexistent. I had ask for some stuff and they just never brought it. I wish it was a better dining experience, but oh well.

Delicious food. Stopped in with a family of picky eaters. Every dish had a unique flavor. Everyone in our party of 7 enjoyed the food.

I went with sautéed fresh spinach and Sweet Buttered Brentwood Corn, while he chose Brussels Sprouts with Mac and Cheese. They offer a basket of incredibly warm bread and butter. We skipped the option for dessert this time. They have indoor, bar, and outside patio seating. In inclement weather, ceiling fans or heaters help patrons stay comfortable. Why didnt I get PASTA with my "lobster pasta"? My order says RICE on the side. Your waitress said i told her no pasta. Why would I spend over $65 for ONE DISH with no pasta? Super disappointed that after I spent so much money on my order I didnt get what I ordered. As a business owner I WOULD NEVER EVER complain and argue about a customer who is on the other line and can hear the entire conversation. I NOTED RICE ON side, can you tell me where I put NO PASTA? Your chef said when a customer orders no rice it shows on the receipt no pasta?? This doesnt make any sense Ive attached my receipt to this review, please explain how my meal labeled "lobster pasta" wouldn't come with pasta? Very distrubed how i was talked about with your employees... and very disturbed how your chef tells me what do you want me to do? I can give you something else from the menu but im not going to give you the same meal? I paid a lot of money for this. Unacceptable. I should have been offered the pasta (i ordered with the sauce)

We celebrated our anniversary last night at WG and the wonderful experiences just keep happening!…read more We were warmly greeted with a "happy anniversary' and had a personal touch at the table of a note card and flower petals. our server, Cara, was attentive and friendly. I remember going to this place a while ago, and loving their buttersquach gnocchi or something…read moreclose to that. The side came with the halibut. And it is one of the best sides, I ever had in my life. I even went to the LA Water Grill looking for it and it was not there. Recently, I was celebrating another precious birthday dinner (a little delayed by 7 days but still counts) and decided to go here, last minute. My friend and I had reservations at another restaurant across the street in the mall. But, I wanted to be a little bit more hungry, so we decided to walk around and then cross the street to find our place in Water Grill. So we crossed the bridge that connects the mall to the other side where the Water Grill lies and with the heatwave we are enduring as Californians, the walk felt like a trek through Arizona streets. I have never been to Arizona. But now I do not have to, apparently. I had called the joint before but they told me they were absolutely book for the night. I have lived long enough to know that place in a crowded restaurant is sometimes a matter of finding a crevice to call one's own. But a crevice is sometimes found only through efforts. The staff was prepared to show us options, one of two bars, and seating in other areas of ther expansive restaurant. I think there were three options and all of these were in the avaiable areas. They did not try to find me a table in their main dining rooms, which is fine. I did enter as a peasant looking for stale bread. Ronnie, my friend, did not want to sit anywhere where the heat was abundant, but luckly on our trek through the bar we found a group departing. Those seats were for us. People were barely getting up. I was almost the tazmanian devil, but contained, I did not want to lose these seats which meant for us, to another person who needed those sits. I am not sure why but I was acting like a bridemaids during a clearence sale for her best-friend's desired gown. I wonder if this happens in real life or I am imagining a scene from a movie that made women savages when it came to low priced clothes? The stools had food rests. My feet did not hang. A significant plus! The crevice had been found, and, like mice who had found their cheese, we were ready to split food and giggle like rats as we did! It was a superb meal! Like, a holiday was had in the moment. Once I found the halibut with the gnocchi my made was made up. Nothing else would due but what I had waited for and found anew. Since the LA shop did not have it, I feared that this place would not as well. We also ordered brussels. Roonie ordered their sirloin and their chimichurri. At one point, I combined the gnocchi, with the halibut, and smeared the chimi, and ate it in one mouthful and the proceeding pow was a blast from the present to the taste buds. The Delorian arrived and parked in my tongue, is what I am trying to say. Our server was Diana. And I thought that she would be more familiar with the fact that Diana was the real name of Wonder Woman. So I am making some lame dad jokes, even though I have not fathered any children, about Amazon and Thymescara. And she politely nodded but later found out that she was not connecting my jokes. But I guess dad jokes can be like that. She was also really kind of cool as a server. For instance, Ronnie wanted to enjoy mac and cheese. I ordered but then I walked and saw their beautiful ears of corn and wanted some. Ben eut we were informed that we had enough food and the corns probably would not be needed. Diana accomodated the request of swapping the mac for the corn. I wanted no chili. Then corn on the cob came with chili. She said that she had put in the order. And then a second order of corn came without chili. Ronnie, being the pure angel she is, was like Do you need the chili corn back? And I was like, now we licked it. Simply because I feel that the restaurant would be tacky to deliver a wrong side and then ask for it back. Like for the prices you all be charging, they can let us absorb the cost of their mistake. Both ears of corn were left. The real kiss on my birthday from the universe was that I was allowed to have an entire side of the gnocchi for 16 dollars. It came. Now there was enough for Ronnie to share. I will admit that before a gurantee of more gnocchi I was wondering if they could share. We also got a tri-flavored cookie with ice cream with a sea horse cookie with ice cream. It was great. Exceptional even. And the garlic on the brussels, I am glad I am not the king of the undead. So this place is a gem under the sea that I can visit from time to time. It is just not that close. But it is not the white whale, nor am I Ahab. I can go more often. And after yesterday's dinner, I do not see how I can not.
