My husband and I went out for dinner today because we were craving Chinese food, and we came back to a place we always thought would hit the spot and satisfy the craving. Unfortunately, The Wok not only lowered their food quality, but their customer service as well. The two girls barely greeted us and didn't really seem to care to acknowledge their customers. It used to feel welcoming -- like "Hi, welcome! What can we get for you?" with a smile on their face. I know everyone has off days and people are different, but this felt more like "What do you want? Here's your food, now go." The food was bland and lacked flavor, and what made it worse was that the chow mein was fresh and it didn't taste fresh at all. The portions were still large, so I guess that and the price somewhat made up for the disappointment. But honestly, we definitely won't be going back or recommending the place like we used to. It honestly makes me sad because now we have to search for a new Chinese food spot, and many of you probably know how hard it is to find a really good one nowadays! read more

We were starving after leaving Laundromat. Came to this Chinese restaurant. They were about 6 minutes from closing. So made it within a nick of time. Since they were closing, they were trying to overfill food container with as much food as they can . I guess that is the cheat code. Go get Chinese food less than an hour of closing and your proportions will be a few servings . I got the beef and broccoli, fried rice, and bbq chicken. Delicious. Omg. I would've gotten chow mein. TLDR: You want a good amount of food that doesn't break the bank. In the endless sea of generic Chinese takeouts, this is no different. Mushroom Chicken: Salty, but not too salty. The mushroom to chicken to zucchini ratio was pretty nice, and the portions were solid. I think the perk of getting this is that you get a mix of meat and vegetables. Chop suey: If you want to cut down on fried food consumption (which is 80-85% of this place's menu), then the chop suey is something I can recommend. They took it easy on the salt and msg, which is a good thing. It tasted clean, and it won't hurt to pump veggies into the system. Ambiance: It's one of the cleaner Chinese takeout spots that I've been to. It's also one of the only ones with a TV that they bothered to turn on. Service: Straightforward. This place is better than some I suppose, I have walked in and walked out because the customer service here is well to put it best, there really isn't. The only person that was smiling was me until I felt the vibe of everyone working there they kind of gave mad or annoyed to be working type of vibes. Like their energy litterally took mine from happy to what the heck did I walk Into?.. I asked ti taste to make sure the chicken wasn't cold and old. I was as hungry so I didn't mind that it wasn't really warm the first thing u tried. But getting home with my take out. Chow mein, Sesame chicken and house special chicken. House special was half hot and half cold. The sesame chicken had pieces of bone not so warm and chicken was like when it's overly dry or really burnt and not edible pieces. My Chinese food guilty pleasure...they pack it fat here...I always get bbq pork and bbq chicken it's just sooooooooo yummy!!! If it weren't for this place I'd wouldn't have fallen madly in love with cream cheese wontons they are so good here!!! I came today very excited about getting some beef chow mein, I got here around 7:20 pm in a Wednesday and they told me that the chow mein was over and it going to take about 20 to 30 minutes to cook, I asked why and they said that the kitchen was closing and they were cleaning and won't make any soon, I asked the lady what time does the restaurant closed? I can only comment on what I've tried and seen. Wor wonton and egg flower soups were a very pleasantly delicious surprise. I've never been to the Wok Experience but I seen it on Yelp while waiting for my kids KFC. Service was good too. The place could definitely do without all the COVID plastic barriers. Other than that I'll definitely be going back to try other food there as all the items on the steamers looked really appealing. Oh, the cream cheese wontons were also really good. Humble little mom-pop Chinese food ' look & point' spot with very tasty. Another one of those that I have driven pass on Euclid and now finally visiting. It clean and tidy. Quick service but busy with many locals getting their quick fix for lunch and dinner. Very good portion size. We came bec wife was craving won ton soup. This used to be my go to place. The food was always great, the portions hearty, the service top notch, and they seemed to take care to make orders right. i loved that they had plentiful vegetarian options made fresh to order and that they were on top of them. Well, i have now had 3, back to back negative experiences, and this one, quite literally, almost killed me. My husband went to order. 8 o'clock, they're open until 9. Out of chow mein and won't make anymore. No problem, i guess. Down to the last few egg rolls and won't make more. No problem, i guess. i'll just get a tofu entrée. He brings the food home, and they haven't bothered to close the containers. So...i'm cleaning the sauce up because, of course, it's mine that spilled everywhere. Only, i notice a super fishy smell. Weird. Yeah, they didn't make me a tofu dish, they made me a shrimp dish. Which i am DEATHLY ALLERGIC to. The ONLY thing I will complain about is the SLOW service, the lady is nice, always greets with a smile but damn she needs the cooks to come help serve at times . I came today in my lunch and waited 20 minutes in line, 2 customers walked out and she still decided to take a restroom break. (Everyone needs a break I understand that but hey call one of the cooks out to at least help get the line down or serve us while you come out and charge ) . I refused to pay until the chow mien was ready but the cashier got an attitude after that and the cooks hadn't even started making chow mien. Instead they were cleaning rather than making anything throughout the whole time I was there ordering and waiting. The lady before me was also waiting for chow mien except she had already paid for her food and she was just waiting but still no chow mien was being made. After seeing that no chow mien was being made and with the cashiers attitude I just decided to leave with nothing and took my money elsewhere. This business clearly didn't want it and had no self regard for the customers at all. Work on cleaning up that act and maybe you'll get some more business. read more

This is the only fast food Chinese spot I like to eat! The restaurant is very clean and the staff is super nice! I absolutely love the wor wonton soup! It's made fresh and comes with fresh veggies, chicken, shrimp, wontons and a tasty broth! On a cold rainy day it makes for the prefect lunch or dinner. It comes out piping hot! It's pretty inexpensive too! $7 for a huge bowl, enough for two. I would choose to eat here any day over panda, there's just no competition. The Woks food is fresh-made and super tasty!
