Big servings, pretty flavorful food, fills the craving for Chinese takeout food. Service was nice, staff were friendly. Decorations were cute. Would recommend you come here if you want a lot of Chinese takeout food for a reasonable price

Amazing service, flavorful food and it's clean!! Would definitely recommend!!

Honestly, this place serves decent Chinese food for an affordable price. I got the 2 Item Combo with chow mein, broccoli beef, and kung pao chicken. I was also given the choice to get a complimentary soup, salad, or veggie egg roll so I went with the egg roll. Food was on the bland side but I do prefer that because you can always add seasoning to your liking. The plate seems small but the portions are huge. It looks like most of the complaints are for the methods of payment accepted. For credit and debit purchases, you are required a minimum of $20 or it's an additional $1 fee. I just paid cash because why not? I don't blame small mom and pop businesses to charge additional card fees because the business itself has to pay monthly fees to be able to process credit card transactions. If you're expecting authentic, delicious food, please do yourself a favor and skip this place. If you're looking to eat an affordable, quick little meal, please do try this place out. Don't even bother if all you're going to do is cry and whine about the fee for card transactions even after reading these reviews and seeing pictures about it posted on the page. Service is really quick and may seem a little pushy but knowing Asian culture, it's not like that. The lady up front was very friendly and professional. Parking is a bit tight as it shares its lot with several other small businesses.

Great service and the food is great too. It's a little small inside but it's nice and clean.

    Screw this place.

I honestly don't know how this place is still open, it doesn't seem to ever be busy and the food is just awful.

Now I work close by and was craving Chinese food and decided to give it another go, despite the negative reviews. VERY PLEASED! Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the 2 item combo with BBQ Pork and Mushroom Chicken. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Portions so big that I only ate 1/4 and have an abundance of leftovers! BBQ pork is really easy to screw up and I knew I was taking a risk. That paid off because the meat was tender and juicy, not hard and dried out like so many other places serve. Mushroom Chicken? Just look at those beautiful shrooms in my photos! The zucchini was perfect, chicken perfect. Posting this for other folks who are judging by the negative reviews. Fact is they couldn't still be in business after decades if the food was that bad. Great food, great deal. Much better than Panda! Sad thing is that this shopping center has gone severely down hill. The exterior of the entire lot is filthy. That's not the fault of Hong Kong Express. Larry's Pizza next door is also a decades old establishment with great food, but outside is filthy from vagrants. Let's support our local businesses! Give them a chance! We don't need another Panda Express or Pizza Hut.

The soy chicken is super sweet though, to the point where it tastes like candy, so I would be careful w that one if you dont like sweet things. I was in the mood for shrimp the last time I went so I asked for a shrimp dragon bowl. The lady spoke very fast and in very broken English. I believe she asked what type of shrimp and I asked what type they had and she had me go down to the steam table that had one type of shrimp, so I was like "ok, I guess that's the one then." The portions and the cook and temp on the shrimp was really good. The sauce on them was straight up mayonnaise though. Looking back at their menu online I now know this must be their walnut shrimp. Never saw any walnuts though. All mayo. So the next time I go I will ask if I can get a bowl of maybe some sweet and sour or spicy chili shrimp because the mayo all over the bowl was kinda gross. Their firecracker chicken, orange chicken, kung pow chicken are all good and the egg rolls they give as part of the combos are the highlight of the meal for sure. The past couple of times I have gone they were still stocking the drinks in the ice bin so when they asked me to take a drink as part of the combo each time they had not stocked any of the sugar free sodas. I mentioned to them if they had a diet soda I would take one and they just stonewalled me and didn't reach over to the stack of cases of diet soda along the wall of the restaurant. So yeah, not the most helpful of service sometimes. I think it might be because they are always so busy and they have one speed where you don't stop to smell the roses and make that connection, but at least you can say that they keep the line moving.

Parking was easy, no wait to be seated on a Thursday evening and service was prompt and also checked up on us throughout the meal. Szechuan eggplant - so yum, arrived piping hot, it was coated in a super thin breading first before being fried and then coated in the Szechuan sauce. Slightly spicy, tangy and sweet, the classic Szechuan eggplant. Fish with veggies - loved how light but flavorful this dish was. Tender fish filet with garlic and a bunch of veggies, doesn't look very flavorful but it was very good! Would get again as a lighter dish compared to the others. Garlic pork - 魚香肉絲 this is typically my favorite dish in Chinese restaurants and saw it titled similarly in the menu but realized it's not cut into 絲 and it included celery, which the dish typically does not include. Not complaining though, the flavor was still great and I loved the dish, just different than what I expected. Sesame chicken - similar to orange chicken but without the orange flavor. Came piping hot and had good pieces of chicken within the breading. Sweet and sour, liked the flavor alot. The dishes came with rice! Would totally come back again to try the other dishes. The kung pao chicken was "ok" there were more vegetables than chicken. The seafood boil style shrimp was TERRIBLE! Had very little seasoning, hardly any sauce and came lukewarm. Yuck on many levels. The service was just as bad as the food. Never checked on us ONCE or even spoke to us for that matter, after taking our order, other than to give us the bill. Rude as hell.
