Great fried noodles!! It's the only thing I've ever ordered so it the only thing I can review!

I wanted to give a huge shoutout to this place, BIG CHOPSTICKS. I have NEVER had anything that was not excellent! It dawned on me that I truly owed the owner(s) and chefs a review to say just how much we love their cooking. The sad thing is though, the only time we are able to get this, is when we visit our family in Anaheim. We always look forward to going there for an "order-in" night because way over half the time we get BIG CHOPSTICKS. The food arrives hot and so delicious. Plus, each sauce is distinctly different, which I recognize. Prices are right where they should be. If you are on the fence about ordering, just DO IT! You'll not be disappointed. read more

Awful. We ordered a combo plate and noodles. The meat was poorly marinated with cheap quality seasoning. Better off going to Panda Express. I am flabbergasted, how can a Chinese food business have their worse tasting item be plain rice? Service, only moment she was polite was when she gave me the screen to select the tip preference. I've visited this restaurant a few times, mainly because the orange chicken is pretty good. However, the overall atmosphere leaves me questioning the quality and consistency of the food. Even during pickup, the environment feels run-down, almost like the place might close at any moment. I recently ordered the lunch special and noticed they served a knockoff cola brand, which didn't help the experience. On a previous delivery, the driver demanded a tip at my door. They deliver the food themselves, and I was even pressured to add a tip and sign the receipt on the spot. Unfortunately, the food alone isn't enough to outweigh the unprofessional service and declining atmosphere. What kind of hot and sour soup doesn't include bamboo shoots and mushrooms?? Stingy with the tofu also.. there was basically 5 pieces of thin tofu in the soup. Skip this whole restaurant. It's not worth your time or money Wings? Completely inedible and worst wings I've ever been served. They were cooked to a hard charcoal crisp and didn't contain a molecule of moisture in it. This location has seats to sit at but no one does. It's a bit run down and parking is difficult sometimes. The ambiance leaves a lot to be desired. Oh the food is yummy. I love the fried rice here. I will admit most of the food is a little salty. I come here for the shrimp dishes and the fish in black bean sauce. Sort of like hot fish that PF Chang's used to have but less sweet and more salty. The service is quick! If you call ahead, food is ready in about 10 minutes most times of the day. read more

Ordered the Jalepeno chicken and chicken dumplings and was very disappointed. The Jalepeno chicken had more filler food than chicken. I don't think I even got a whole chicken thigh. I mostly got mushrooms, carrots and onions. A good amount of Jalepeno and a few pieces of chicken. It was drowned in sauce so everything tasted the same. The chicken dumplings were ok. I have ordered here before but today when I picked up my online order, I noticed they charged me an extra $2.54. When I asked why, the server behind the counter said it was for "credit card fee." That surprised me since they never charged me this fee before as I always paid with credit card. I believe that if a firm, company or restaurant wishes to do business with public, then they ought to accept credit card payment without imposing a penalty of some junk fee to recoup their doing 'cost of business.' They can of course adjust their pricing to include their costs of material, expenses,, etc. But to say to a customer you must pay cash of we charge you a fee? After all, credit card payment especially in restaurant is almost a standards staple used everyday. Indeed, some businesses do not even take cash anymore (i.e. sports venue, healthcare). Also, a business decides to take only cash and or impose a credit card fee, then they must be transparent about it, indicate so in their promotional brochure and website, rather than surprising customers at the checkout. My bill did not even show this fee, it was just added to the total. That is when I noticed and questioned it. So much for transparency! I have visceral dislike for junk fees and refuse to patronize any business that do so. read more

Decide to try this place and did from DoorDash, the foods came on time, fresh and the quality of the meat, is fresh and the amount is a lot for each food we ordered! I save the Chow Fun fro dinner and heat it up, the taste of the is still good, no bad sour smell, and must say the meat is generous and big cuts! The sauce for orange chicken tasted thick, juicy for sure! They have good offer for walk in customer, better use that if you want to dove for Chinese food with good offer! Update 09-05-23: the most flavorless mushroom chicken I've ever had. Sauce tasted like nothing, chicken was overcooked, and the vegetables didn't taste fresh. Underwhelming amount of any veg other than zucchini cut too big and bombed with old mushrooms; I found a single half-piece of carrot in the whole dish. Cream cheese wontons had been under-fried and left to bake under a heat lamp, a soggy bottom and burned tops. Friend's shrimp in lobster sauce combo was described as, "no amount of soy sauce in the world could save that sauce or that fried rice". We definitely will not order here again. read more

Oh wow. Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life. I can't speak to service because I ordered off of Uber eats and it got to my place promptly so one star for that. I do believe you can tell if a Chinese restaurant will be good or not based on their hot and sour soup. The taste itself was ok but the texture of the soup was like melted jello with literal gelatinous chunks throughout the soup that you could actually chew on. Made me feel like I was eating soup, not drinking it. I got the eggplant. Now I love eggplant. Never met an eggplant I didn't like until I ate the eggplant from here. The skin was tough and the flavor was not for me (too sweet and too sticky) Whatever sauce that was it was overpowering and also a little too gelatinous for me. I ended up throwing most of it out bc as much as I hate wasting food I just couldn't get through it. Their veggie egg roll was ok. It was crisp but I didn't like the sweet sauce it came with. Egg rolls were good. Soup was super gross, made me gag. Menu said coke, Diet Coke, water. I ordered a Diet Coke and got a Diet Pepsi yuck. Don't call to order for delivery, use their website. I ordered my food via Door Dash. Fast delivery, but the food... I ordered chow mein, chicken fried rice, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and honey glazed walnut shrimp. The fried rice and chow mein were good. However the Mongolian beef had only a few pieces a beef and 3/4 of it were white onions, the orange chicken tasted sour, as if it had vinegar to make it sour, and the worst was: the walnut shrimp, a $21.00 dish. It was inedible: they poured so much salt that I had to wash off the sauce in order to eat the shrimp by itself. A very awful experience for a $100 meal, where only the chow mein and the fried rice were good. read more

Only have done delivery. Beef chow mein is always great! Big portion and always really hot. The delivery people are nice and always super fast getting here. Never had a bad meal here, especially when they revamped the fried rice a couple years ago. Prices are good and with all the extra meals from leftovers it is even better. The honey walnut shrimp was crispy on the outside with a nice sweetness from the sauce. They were battered differently from how I've had them before but I liked it just the same! The Orange fish really hit the spot for me, especially since it's Lent and we normally order Orange beef. My Only complaint is that it was crispy as advertised, which is understandable due to the food having to be packaged. I really like the shrimp with lobster sauce! I usually have to add a little bit of soy sauce to it but I didn't for theirs! The cream cheese wontons were perfect! I usually enjoy the food at the Orange Location so when I placed an order at the Anaheim location I thought the experience would be the same. There is a charge for everything. Entrees don't come with steamed rice or any side options. There is a charge for crispy chips and fortune cookies. They did not give us any soy sauce. They placed all 4 entrees in one paper bag and when I left all the food fell through the bottom of the bag and all over my car. Medium and Large are the exact same size yet differ prices. Plaza looked kinda ghetto especially when you're next to a 7-Eleven but shit I was craving something greasy and felt like risking it all. People can go to Panda Express but complain about a way more authentic hole in the wall Chinese fast food joint. Panda Express ain't giving away their shrimp for a few bucks so I don't expect this place to either. My food came out hot, flavor was just what I expected (good) and most importantly the lady at the counter was hustling back and forth each time I asked for something. Not saying this restaurant is Crustashon or anything but it's a decent joint for greasy Chinese food. It's unfortunate I saw another review where the guy found a roach in his food.
