For myself; I would re-arrange the teriyaki plate a bit to look more fuller with chicken inside next to rice bowl instead on the side where the CA roll usually is placed next to salad. Waiting for my vehicle to be serviced and needed to get some food. I found this place and decided to give it a try. Their menu was very nice and had a great selection of breakfast combinations, salads, hot and cold sandwiches. They also had teriyaki and noodle plates and sushi rolls. All food prices were very reasonable, nothing over 13.00 dollars. They also had smoothies and iced coffee drinks. The restaurant was clean and quiet, the staff was very friendly . I have ate here three times since I started working in this area I have ordered 3 different things each time and I was absolutely satisfied with not only the service but the food although the shrimp fried rice could've used a little more soy sauce. It was still cooked properly. Walking inside it looked clean and everything is made when you order it. Fresh food feels like a homemade meal. I had the chicken salad absolutely delicious. The most unfriendly elderly owners I've ever seen. This was my second time here. I ordered an omelette both times and sat and worked on my laptop while waiting for my car to be worked on around the corner. I would continually get the stink eye and dirty looks from an elderly male and an elderly female who I later found out where the owners. The second time I went. It was the same but this time the lady asked me how long are you going to be here, even though I was the only person in the restaurant and had ordered breakfast. I explained to her that I was getting work done to my car and she told me I had already been there three hours and she wanted me to leave. Mom n pop place, pros- good variety of food on their menu, reasonable prices, tasty food, right near freeway exit (91 East). Con-hours are limited after 5 pm n closed weekends. We tried their lunchbox Teri chicken, came with tempura shrimp/ veggies, rice, cali roll, and more veggies, everything was yummy! I have been going to THE LUNCH BOX for 10 years. Pretty much everything on the menu is good. The sandwiches, The Spicy Ramen, The teriyaki. The owners can be a little stingy on to go condiments but who cares lol Just ask and make them give you what you need. Overall a great breakfast and lunch spot. read more

Breakfast, sandwiches and sushi, Oh my! I don't know why I have never been here before. I driven by like 100 times and never even noticed it. My friend found out about this location on yelp and wanted to try it even though there are like 7 reviews. The Lunch box is located in the industrial area on the border of Anaheim/Fullerton. They're closed on the weekends and are opened from 7am to 6pm M-F. I think this place probably catered to the people that work in the area, hence their hours. They have a sign with their hours, but the writing is so faint its very hard to read, so at least that what I think the sign says. Apparently they also cater. I didn't see a take out menu anywhere but they had posters advertising different types of platters. I only been here once and I planned to visit again. During my first visit I ordered the Lunch Box short ribs. It came with a salad, California roll, mixed tempura, rice and short ribs. The food was pretty good. I really liked their tempura sauce, it was tangy, different, but good. I'm not a big fan of tempura because its oily, these weren't too oily. The short ribs were alright, Not the best I had, but it wasn't bad either. My Friend ordered the Terikayi chicken plate. It came with a crap load of chicken, rice, salad and about 5 gyoza. She liked her food and she is a picky eater. I pointed out to my friend that she had way more meat than I did, but then my plate has a lot of food. About a minute later this man came out with a little plate and gave me extra meat. I was like wow thanks. I didn't ask for more meat or complained, so that was pretty random. We also ordered 2 cokes. The bill came out to be about 21 bucks. Its a good deal for all the food we got. read more

I first heard about this place through my co-workers. My first time walking in to this place I was surprised by the variety of food they serve. They offer sandwiches, sushi rolls, udon, ramen, breakfast burritos, burgers, beef & chicken meals, and a few other types of food as well. In all honesty this place is delicious in everything they serve but these are MUST HAVE MEALS!!! - Sushi Rolls = 7/10 - Hot or Cold Sandwiches = 9/10 - Udon Tempura Noodles = 7/10 - Beef & Chicken Rice Plates = 9/10 - Breakfast Burritos = 9/10 - Burger Meals = 8/10 All in all if you work in the area this probably the best place to eat lunch!
