Ordered delivery while visiting Disneyland. The gyoza was really good and the California roll was delicious. Unfortunately, the salmon roll was a bit disappointing--it was chewy and didn't taste very fresh. We also tried the fried tofu, but since we ordered through DoorDash it may have affected the quality. It arrived pretty oily and had a coating that left a strange aftertaste. On the positive side, the delivery to our hotel room was smooth and convenient after a long day at the parks. Tofu Ramen: 3/10 -- Broth was very good, but needs veggies. Broth should be packaged separately to prevent soggy noodles if eaten later. Also , it was literally just noodle and tofu which of as different. Normally ramen should include veggies. When I'm craving veggie rolls and too lazy to make my own, Orange Roll Sushi hits the spot. I'm a vegetarian and a creature of habit so the veggie rolls are my best option. I would prefer more avocado included since that is the main protein in the roll. They are still delicious and I order it with soy paper for an extra $1 charge. The hubby usually orders the beef or chicken teriyaki bento and has no complaints. It comes nicely packed when ordered to go. It includes the protein, rice, salad, 2 California roll pieces, tempura, and miso soup. Definitely a hearty and healthy meal. We usually order for pickup and is usually ready within 20min. My absolute favorite sushi spot that I have been gatekeeping for months! They are very accommodating with the sashimi alternatives as I'm allergic to octopus, and they are very quick. There was nothing special about it but there wasn't anything wrong with it. The dressing on the salad was watery. The California roll relied heavily on the fake crab and had only a little avocado. The chicken breast was dry but the teriyaki re-moistened it. The tempura was fresh but lukewarm. I didn't leave delighted and swearing I would return, but I didn't send anything back, either. I didn't try any of their rolls -- which seemed pretty pricey to me -- but maybe that's what all the people who love this place order. They seem to do a great business in takeout and delivery. Didn't Quite Agree at Orange Roll and Sushi Visited this spot during the Friday lunch rush around 1pm with my coworker. I already knew not to expect too much, but I was hoping the food would make up for it since the place was packed. The restaurant itself is small, clean, and simple, nothing fancy, but I figured the flavors would speak for themselves. Shout-out to the young guy at the cash register who was patient, kind, and helpful with recommendations. Somehow, though, communication got lost. We wanted to dine in, but ended up paying as if it were takeout. When we sat down, the owner told us the table was for dine-in guests which was exactly what we were trying to do. Thankfully, the chef noticed what was happening and made sure our food came out on plates, which I appreciated. The food arrived quickly, maybe too quickly. I ordered the Yellowtail Lover Roll, the Orange Roll, and fried soft-shell crab was about $48 total. Unfortunately, the rolls were falling apart as soon as you picked them up, and they felt rushed. My coworker also asked for another soy sauce bottle and grabbed one from an empty table, hoping it would be replaced. Instead, we were met with resistance from the young server, who asked why we needed it rather than offering a solution. A simple saucer or a few packets would've gone a long way. They did try to redeem themselves at the end by bringing a little orange to the table and offering free ice cream. While that was thoughtful, it felt more like an unspoken apology than genuine acknowledgment. Sometimes it's not about a free item, it's about a staff member coming over, recognizing the miss, and saying, "We're sorry this experience didn't go the way you expected." That would've gone further, not just for me, but for the next guests who walk in. That interaction, paired with the rushed food, is the main reason I'm giving three stars. For the price, I expected sturdier rolls and friendlier service. Still, I'd say give it a try for yourself maybe they won't do you like they did me, at Orange Roll & Sushi. read more

The service here is always exceptional! Miranda is my waitress and she was so kind and patient. She helped me decide on what sushi world to eat. If you don't know anything about sushi even though you look at the pictures, sometimes you want to know what spicy. What's not even though they do have little pictures on the menu of things with a jalapeno or if it's mild or what not. Today I ordered the Amanda and it was delicious! I ordered the Kentucky Koko, which is supposed to be a California roll with teriyaki chicken and vegetables on top. I was only given the California roll. Thankfully, I checked the bag before leaving and went back inside. I was told they would make the chicken portion right away. When I got home, it was only stir-fried vegetables -- still no chicken. I called and was told they could remake it, so I drove all the way back again. This time, they handed me only the chicken, saying it "wasn't in her power" to remake the full dish. So after two trips, I still never received the complete meal I paid for. Very poor communication, poor service, and a huge waste of time. Completely unacceptable. read more

Orange roll - 10 pieces in this roll so it was pretty filling. I like the thinly sliced lemon they put on it. Lots of salmon - it's on top and inside the roll.
