On our recent trip to Colorado last month, my family and I decided to check out Snooze after we landed. We went straight from the airport and they were able to accommodate our party of 12 with no problem. The service was great with food recommendations, water and coffee refills. Our server was also super sweet and gave us recommendations of activities to check out while in Colorado Springs. I loved the feel of the restaurant as it was like a retro diner with modern updates. Fast and casual place and definitely kid friendly! It was so hard to choose what to order since everything on the menu sounded so good! All of the food we ordered was delicious. I got the eggs benedict and the eggs were cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and it was massive. My boys also enjoyed their kids breakfasts. Overall, we had a great brunch! Snooze on Larimer is still a great place to grab some breakfast/brunch. It can get quite busy so I would recommend making a reservation prior to going during the weekend. I absolutely love Snooze! I first ate here nearly 14 years ago and when I was recently in Denver again I knew I wanted to return to Snooze. I got the Smashed Avocado Benny with a side salad (it comes with hashbrowns, but I'm diabetic and have to limit carbs). I'm a big eggs Benedict fan and these were perfect! A nice runny poached egg, thick perfectly cooked bacon, and ripe avo. Yum! I looooved the English muffin it's served on-buttery, slightly crisp, with the perfect amount of saltiness. The salad was great, too. It came with sunflower seeds sprinkled on, which was a nice touch. Stopped into Snooze at Denver Union Station during an Amtrak layover and it was exactly what I needed: fast, friendly, and genuinely delicious. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast burrito and it absolutely delivered--warm, hearty, and smothered in flavorful green chile and melty cheese. Big comfort-food energy without feeling heavy. I walked to Snooze from my hotel for Friday breakfast. It is located close to Coors Field. I could see it being busy when the Rockies have a day game. Quick story time. My waiter was Nathan. He asked if I had any allergies. I tell him basil. I ask him for recommendations since I have eaten at the SD location but it was years ago. I ask if they have chilaquiles. He says no. I proceeds to give his recs. The second one is called Basil and Bee burrata toast. I reply with "that won't work; it would kill me." And his head immediately hits the table. He starts apologizing. I told him he is negative a point. goes beet red. Yup. Someone needs to drink more coffee or open up his ears. We did share a laugh about it. I ordered the Habanero Pork Belly Benny with hash browns like hockey puck. It was a little zingy but not overly spicy. The bacon espresso jam was great. The cream cheese hollandaise helped to combat the spiciness of the habanero pork belly. It didn't blow me away but was good. Would I order it again -- maybe. The table next to me had a toddler who was guessing two years old. About fifteen minutes into their breakfast, the child became upset and started screaming at the top of his lungs. The manager came off to talk to the mom which I thought she was going to ask them to go outside to calm down. Less than a minute later, the manager came back with a small bowl of strawberries and the child immediately stopped. It was amazing. Fantastic way to handle a difficult situation. Snooze Cafe was my solo breakfast visit as I really wanted a great Bloody Mary and it did not disappoint!! Balanced mix, with fun garnishes and the option to add bacon and a beer back which was a full size can! The vibe was super inclusive and lgbt+ welcoming! Everyone working was their authentic self and it made me happy to spend my money there. The menu was huge and while hard to decide if I wanted a flight of flavored pancakes or any of their Benedict options, I went with the avocado smash Benedict with crispy hashbrowns. Unreal. Picked up a pound of freshly ground coffee ground to order. The cup of joe this morning was well worth the trip! I was so excited to visit Denver and see that they had Snooze-- as a former San Diego-an I had missed this brunch staple and it did not disappoint! We ordered the Basil and the Bee Burrata Toast, the Snooze Breakfast Burrito with Chorizo, and a Blueberry pancake. The Burrata Toast was delicious- Toasted bread with a semi-sweet flavorful balsamic date spread, creamy burrata, basil pesto, roasted tomatoes and a drizzle of Mike's Hot Honey. This dish was on the lighter side but was still filling and a good portion of food. The Breakfast Burrito was also good and was quite a large portion. Super happy Snooze is in the airport, but it's not the same menu as a legit spot Also happy there's a Snooze on 16th street but go to the Larimer location for a more chill, less congested environment. Plus the wait difference was 30 mins faster on Larimer during peak weekend brunch times. Hubby and I got our own brunch entrees. He loves Mexican and vouches for the Huevos Rancheros. I did a the sweet potatoes with eggs and asparagus-loved though I always want more veggies. The flavors were a delight on that sweet potato. And because we live a breakfast dessert, we shared a flight of pancakes and fresh toast. SO HAPPY they could feed our sweet and savory desires. I hadn't been back to the exalted original Snooze since about a couple years after it opened. Back then, the waits were still legendary. Now that the crowds have spread to other locations, the vibe feels relaxed but just as confident. The buttery biscuits smothered in rich, pepper, rosemary sausage infused gravy which top the menu were outstanding. I had them with sunny-side up eggs, which are not my typical choice. I wanted to stay brand consistent with what they've perfected though. The hash browns were perfectly crisp outside, tender inside, and beautifully seasoned. Had a great dining experience at Snooze. Everything appeared clean and our server was nice and pretty attentive. There were unique combinations of food, and what we ordered tasted great. I ordered the Habanero Pork Belly Benny. I thought the combination of ingredients was unique, and it tasted great. My kiddos ordered the Signature Flight of Pancakes and the 3 Protein Omelet. Snooze is one of my go to brunch restaurants in the Denver area, so I was delighted to find this downtown Denver location while I was waiting for another engagement in the area. I got the signature pancake flight all GF, and the spuds deluxe. Both were delicious and reliable favorites for me. We came at about 12 on a Saturday and they had lots of available tables, which is unusual compared to the busyness of some other Snooze locations I have gone to. Nathan at the bar was a ray of sunshine I didn't know I needed. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming to us as out-of-towners and happy to share with us the hot spots. The place was surprisingly queer, and we loved how up front they were about it. We were also excited to be at the original location of this local chain. I went with the crab and asparagus omelette with smashed and crispy home fries (go for this as opposed to the hockey puck variety. The omelette was a surprising twist on a classic, though I couldn't always make out what was crab and what was cheese. The home fries were the bomb diggity, no surprise. My only regret was not ordering the crab cake benedict instead. I also got a double bacon sammie to go, which was the best choice to make instead of trying to scrounge for airport food. It felt like a modern-style diner while also looking like a restaurant straight out of the Jetsons. Took a little bit of waiting (15 minutes) but got seated. I ordered the Bella! Bella! Benny and it was phenomenal! The sauce was not too rich, and the saltiness of the meat really mixed well with the egg and the arugula. For those who don't like salty foods, I would order something else or ask to make the dish less salty if possible. Servers were friendly. I think there's parking somewhere on the block. Wowowow. As a pedantic foodie, I tend to be hard to impress, so I'm not exaggerating when I say this place was beyond outstanding on every front. I've never been so eager to write a great review. To start, I came in on a Tuesday morning and was seated immediately-- decor was cute and branding on point. My server Edgar was super polite and a total sweetheart, gave actually insightful recommendations, and included me in fun conversation with the other staff. Before even ordering, I was really impressed with the menu. I adore American fusion and love experimental riffs on the classics, and so I had a hard time choosing. I almost picked the French toast Monte Cristo, but ended up going with the habanero pork belly eggs benedict with bacon espresso jam... ‍ and yeah.. Chefs kiss. On top of that, it was very reasonably priced imo. My food, along with the butterfly lemonade (also fire btw), came out to just $26, and I took some home too!! They even gave me a coupon for a free pancake when I return. Amazing. Cool old school diner vibes, booth seating on the perimeter of the restaurant with funky round table booths in the middle of the restaurant. The restaurant was busy, but the wait was reasonable. Good energy and fun wait staff. We ordered the short rib loco mocco, garlic rice, breakfast tacos, traditional breakfast and side of their specialty bacon. The bacon is a must, smothered in brown sugar glaze and chili flakes, perfect crisp bacon with sweet and spicy flavor! Their take on the traditional locco mocco was good, different than the traditional with beef patty, but it was very flavorful. The mushroom sauce was very good over the short ribs and rice.
