My previous review of this place was moderated and removed, likely because I gave it a scathing review. So I won't really go into too much detail, but I did order take out from this place and the food was awful. The garlic bread was literally a piece of cheese on French bread, and the chicken alfredo consisted of barely-cooked noodles, and hardly a lick of sauce. But the chicken was also undercooked. So not only did it taste bad, but whoever cooked my meal was also apparently trying to give me food poisoning. Really great work, guys. Cheers! The Little Chef's event was an amazing thing! Well worth the price for a ticket. My son was thoroughly entertained and enjoyed making his own pizza! It was well organized, even if it did start late. The crust was very tasty. My Goddaughter and I enjoyed individual bottles of wine that was nicely chilled. I only gave them a four because it was supposed to start at one and it didn't start till almost 2 o'clock. I didn't feed my son lunch because I thought at 1 o'clock. Going in the middle of the week there was plenty of space for a big group. Street parking was easy to find. The menu is size able, appetizers, sandwich's pasta, pizza and dessert. Our server was great checking in on us and making sure we had what we needed. The wait wasn't too long for the food and the portions were decent size. Food wise it was a mixed bag. I really enjoyed my chicken tikki masala fries. Still crisp, lots of cheese and spice but my buffalo wings were just fine. My friends lasagna was cold in the middle but the flavor was good. First time here, right when you enter there is a pathway to the register and workers. So it's no surprise if new customers automatically head that way without clear signage informing otherwise. I did not know you can just go sit at a table and someone will go to you and take your order. There should be a sign by the door. Our waitress was kind and it seemed she and another guy were the only ones working the front. Food was bomb! We didn't want to order too much food since we wanted to go down the street to Rosemarys afterwards but that just made us want to return again soon. I have seen little hole in the wall on the corner many times but never had a chance to stop until today. My husband and I made a point to stop and I'm glad we did. Our server turned out to be the manager and he was helpful and made sure we got the best service and experience all around. We ordered the wings and they came with our pizza, they were definitely worth the wait. Tender and juicy yet crispy on the outside...perfect...I could have eaten them as my entree'...but I was here for the pizza ;-). We ordered the cheese and the combination and were not disappointed in either one. The crust is a little thicker than we like, but was tasty nonetheless. The cheese was a quality mozzarella, in that as our pizza cooled it was still stringy and didn't go salty...all marks of quality...delicious!!! And the Italian on the combination was huge chunks, I fell in love....so good...and they covered it with not just green bell peppers but yellow and red ones as well...heavenly taste combinations...a 7.9 out of 10 completely worth the wait...loved everything about the visit... read more

To all you 1 star haters. I just want to say I'm a regular and consider myself a pizza connoisseur. This is definitely the best in town and in my opinion they use good quality ingredients. They definitely get busy but always make sure you feel welcomed. The guy who attends us always provides amazing service and he's very kind. Can't go without having a good conversation with the man. Never had an issue with getting my food on time. It's been busy and even then they make sure you have best service it's not a fast food so know what to expect. Best believe you will leave with a tummy full but satisfied. If your on your lunch common sense to call ahead of time and expect a wait. They want to give you fresh food like I said it's not a fast food. Can't speak for everything on the menu as I said I'm a pizza connoisseur but so far the best I've had in town and I'm not changing my mind! I love you slice of Italy. Unfortunately, our group did not have the best experience at this establishment. Visiting Bakersfield we decided to take our lunch break here and upon arrival our table was slightly sticky. After taking our order of 4 "personal pizzas" we got our drinks in about 5 minutes but our actual food took over 45 minutes. Without question the worst I've ever had in my entire life and I've eaten a lot of it. Many different styles and many different countries. The pasta tasted terrible, almost like it was a paste. Almost no meat and the lasagna. Too much marinara sauce, though. Probably trying to cover up the bad ingredients. The top of my lasagna and the side of the dish were completely burned. I'm quite sure it was baked at a very high heat, quickly all leading to a disaster. It was an expensive mistake. We both tried it, and it was completely inedible. Then those 10 minutes go by, and I'm told it'll be another 10 minutes. This continues for about an hour before I finally receive my food. After 10 minutes, we had to ask for the beer again, and it took several more minutes to finally get it. The place was definitely under staffed. We got our food ordered. My wife and I got a salad. The salad bar had very meager offerings. The lettuce bowl was less than 1/3 full, no mushrooms. It was very disappointing for a $10 salad. The BBQ pizza was good. We wanted to catch up we our friends who we had not seen for some time. The booths get uncomfortable. We enjoyed good conversation for a few hours. I noticed the table across from us had dirty dishes on it the whole time. I've had good experiences at this location in the past. This was disappointing. The place looked nice and clean when I came in, we were told to sit anywhere, since there were no customers when we came in. We took a nice little booth and took a look at the menu, which had a good amount of options! The restroom was also quite clean and kept, so that was good. We decided to order a medium margarita pizza, a medium creamy garlic chicken pizza, and a chicken fettuccine. The pizza took around 10-15 minutes to come out, and it came with plates and ranch/cheese and peppers beforehand. These pizzas were pretty delicious, they taste different than your usual pizza joint, with a crust that's easy to bite through, and fresh ingredients that make the flavor just explode in your mouth. I would definitely recommend this pizza place if you're passing through town and you're in need of a good bite for lunch or dinner! By the way, we had leftovers, so enough for later! read more

I usually take my lunch from 1-2. I enjoy lunch buffets because they don't take long and with my drive I don't get much time to eat. I have tried to find information on the buffet both in person and online and have not found any. I was charged $15.16 out the door no drink. I believe the buffet ends at 2 so when food ran out it just wasn't replaced. I was surprised that the Mac and cheese was spicy. They continued to bring out pizzas.
