Of course, I had to try their famous tri-tip sandwich and added a side of fries. The sandwich was loaded with tri-tip, tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with their BBQ sauce. The fries were a great addition and made the meal even more filling. I also ordered the Southwestern salad with chicken, and when I opened the container, I was honestly impressed by how much food they packed in there. It was huge, fresh, and loaded with chicken, avocado, black beans, corn, peppers, and plenty of toppings. Definitely not one of those salads that leaves you hungry afterward! I also have to give Firestone Grill credit for the sauces. They gave me two large containers of BBQ sauce AND two generous containers of dressing. We placed our order for pick up and by the time we got there about 15 minutes later the food was hot and ready to go! The tri-tip sandwich was delicious filled with thick juicy slices with minimal fat on the meat which I greatly appreciated. Next were their dry rub baked wings, the flavor has a bit of kick like a buffalo wing minus the mess, but all the flavor! Hands down one of favorite despite not being a wing person myself. The ribs were a bit on the rubbery/dry side, so by the time I finished half a tri tip sandwich (shared the meal) the texture of the ribs wasn't screaming eat me! Love the food and the staff is amazing! However, they do not accept phone orders and you get charged $2 to place an online order, which wouldn't be a problem if there was a guest check out option. Using their app, you have to have an account which if you don't remember the password for, it will send you a 16+ digit code and when you copy that code from email, it will tell you the code is incorrect. Would much appreciate if they could work out a way to place orders for pick up as the restaurant can get very packed during football season and weekends. If we go with a large party we sit where we have a waitress. They are usually pretty busy but food is quick here and it's convenient if you're going to have an open bar tab. My favorite meal is their tri tip sandwich with a side of jalapeños. The portions here are large enough to share! The small salad is a large at most places and the sandwiches are stacked high with generous portion of meat.
