All the World is a stage

Cool venue with a full bar & restaurant next door. Came here for a comedy show. Headliner was Sammy Obeid. If you have not seen him on the Insta, check him out. Seating: VIP gets a table with four seats or seated in the first couple rows. I was general admission. I had choice of single seats or the high top bars on the side. Honestly all seats have a great view of the stage. I ordered fries. They came with Ranch dressing. They hit, crisp, & tasty. I met Clyde the promoter for this event. Very nice man. He gave me a flyer for their next show on Jan 17. I had a great time & laughed my head off. Oh a few of us understood Sammy's Parabola jokes. No brain drain here. lol See you some more on Yelp 2026

Love the changes to this spot. Food variety and quality are very good. Their wings are cooked perfectly for my liking, and I could slather their blueberry bbq sauce on anything. It's so tasty. Loaded potato soup was nice thick and silky. So yummy on a chilly day. Service is fast friendly and efficient. A good spot to sit with friends and have some adult beverages and enjoy tasty food. Looking forward to checking out some of their entertainment options, and patio time in the future.

First, this place is large- great for a group gathering. Multiple televisions for sports. Decor is sports and music but also bright and clean- there's also a venue. Food- was ok. Wings were seasoned well but too salty. Chicken pot pie- the crust immediately turned to dough when broken into the gravy. The best thing was the baba ganoush. Cocktails- Lemon drop-very good. Service- slow and not quite attentive. Could be that she we young or new- it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. Great place to meet for apps and drinks with your friends.

Our last stop on a breast cancer poker run and fundraiser and we were starving. We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. A few minutes later our drink orders were taken along with our food not long after. We sat back and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere. This place was super clean. This place you could actually dress down or up to eat here and get away with it. From what I've seen of the patio it looks super cute with vines and private. When we go out to we like to talk and not scream over loud music so this place check that box for us. The music played at nice level. They had huge tv's on the wall with no sound on which was puzzling because with no sound on you would think they would have closed captains on but they didn't. But non the less we talked about the ride, to friends and the plans for the day. Our food was great. Mark had a French dip and I had chicken burger.

Under new ownership, Legends is the place to be! Event Center: Legends is much more than just a sports bar & grill, though it is one of my favorite sports bar & grills around. Legends is also an event center, and bourbon & cigar lounge. As an event center, they can truly host any event with multiple areas to hang out. Be sure to check them out when thinking about hosting any events. They seem to be able to turn their spaces into whatever an event calls for with how many different event set ups they use regularly. Legends does an impressive job catering to all communities with their . On top of being able to host your own events, Legends keeps a wide variety of events. Legends does an impressive job catering to all communities with their wide range of events. Some events they've hosted include sports watch parties, an emo rave, sugar cookie decorating classes, concerts, and regular occuring hookah nights. They're always announcing new events on social media, so definitely follow them to keep up with all the fun! The Sports Bar: Their food is amazing. Definitely snag some of their Middle Eastern dishes, and jump around their menu with the confidence of knowing it is all delicious. Our server, Cameron, was attentive and fun to speak with. Their old fashioned is quite tasty. The sports bar has plenty of large televisions and impressive sports memorabilia. It's a great place to catch any game. I'm looking forward to this football season with Legends!

Met friends there to watch the game. Had a blast. $3 hot dogs and five dollar drinks can't beat that. They had plenty of t v's there you can see the game from every angle. Even though they were busy service was great. Great atmosphere with lots of people watching the game, It was fun to watch the game with other fans.

Staff is really friendly here , the Tv screens are amazing to watch the games ! We ordered a sampler platter the chicken strips were my favorite, a lot of flavor and crunchy. The decor is beautiful and there's a lot of space for large groups. Definitely coming back !

Horrible experience. I went in to buy the advertised $15 concert tickets and after 30 mins was told I'd have to buy them online for $20. Fine.... Then the show was postponed until NOVEMBER and I was denied a refund. Well I'm not going to be here in November which is 9 months away. I can make a human being and have it born before the show, thats ludicrous. I just want my money back that I feel I'm entitled to.

Incredible Service from Elizabeth at Legends! I had such an amazing experience at Legends, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Elizabeth. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Her customer service skills were off the charts attentive without being overbearing, super friendly, and you could tell she really knows and loves her job. The food? Straight-up bomb. Everything came out fresh, hot, and delicious, and Elizabeth made great recommendations that did not miss. She checked in at all the right times, kept everything flowing smoothly, and made the whole meal feel easy, relaxed, and honestly special. If you go to Legends, do yourself a favor and ask for Elizabeth. She made our visit unforgettable, and we'll definitely be back because of her.

Even the manager came up and introduced herself and we had a nice chat. Smaller space than most bars but that is fine as for now, this place does not seem to get very busy. Even though happy hour runs late! The prices for drinks were more than affordable but nothing fancy. Your moscow mule for example will come just in a regular glass (darn thieves!) and not the slick, proper, copper mug that will keep your drink colder for longer. Again, think Denny's. Also tried a simple vodka drink and a margarita. They were fine. We went on a Fri night I think at 9pm when surprisingly, karaoke started. THIS was interesting. I was excited as it was listed as 80's night but as the night went on, 'anything goes' was the rule. It was fun but the same people went up over and over again trying to get their big break! They were having fun with it - we just decided to leave when the foul, crappy hip hop came on. The mood had shifted. There are booths, high tops and you can eat from the regular Denny's menu. We did not eat but what was recommended to us by staff were the burgers and skillets for next time. To sum up - this is a very casual spot to bring some friends and have drinks on the cheap with friendly service. And a diner menu if you are hungry that serves late into the night.

We also got 2 appetizers to share, the tritip bruschetta and the beef Wellington bites. The bruschetta was really good! 3 big pieces so perfect for our group of 3! A little hard to eat but delicious! The beef Wellington was just ok but we really liked the bruschetta We enjoyed our lunch and will be back for a steak dinner sometime! Just a final note - they charge $2 to use a credit card

High ceilings, clean layout, and just a cool atmosphere overall. The food did not disappoint. My wife ordered the Whack Job, and yeah... it lives up to the name. Definitely one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. I went with the Caesar salad topped with baked salmon, and it was solid. The lettuce was crisp, dressing was creamy with just the right tang, and the salmon was cooked perfectly, flaky, well-seasoned, and not dry at all. You can tell they care about quality. Service was on point too. The waiters were attentive without hovering, quick with refills, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. Overall, great food, great service, and a really cool setting. Me and the wifey will definitely be back.

Nobody plans to spend an evening in Bakersfield. You pass through it on the way to somewhere else…read more-- Mammoth, the Sequoias, the long flat grind up the 99 to Sacramento -- and if you stop at all, it's for gas or a bathroom or because your BMW's brakes have decided, somewhere around the Grapevine, that they'd rather not. Thank you, Weatherford BMW of Berkeley, for the near-death experience and, inadvertently, for one of the best nights out I've had in years. Stranded and waiting on repairs, we checked into The Padre, the only hotel in Bakersfield that feels like someone with a subscription to Dwell had a hand in it, and set out walking through a downtown that time has treated with more kindness than reputation suggests. There's a Woolworth's luncheonette still hanging on. There are old brick facades and wide sidewalks and the particular quiet of a Central Valley evening when the heat finally breaks. And then, on 18th Street, there is Tiki-Ko, and suddenly you are no longer in Bakersfield at all. You are, instead, inside someone's magnificent obsession. Tiki-Ko is a proper tiki bar -- not a tiki-themed cocktail lounge, not a place that bought some bamboo at a craft store and called it atmosphere, but a genuine, committed, floor-to-ceiling shrine to mid-century Polynesian fantasy. The carvings are real. The lighting is correct -- which is to say, barely there. The mugs are serious. There are pufferfish lamps and carved totems and the whole glorious taxonomy of tiki ephemera, accented here and there with a skate-culture edge that keeps it from feeling like a museum. It's reverent without being precious. The drinks are the real thing. Mai Tais built with actual orgeat. Zombies that earn the name. The bartenders make them with the kind of care and enthusiasm that tells you this isn't a gig -- it's a calling. They want you to be here. They want to talk about rum. They want you to try the Painkiller. In a city that most Angelenos regard as a punch line, somebody built a world-class cocktail bar and filled it with joy, and the regulars clearly know it. You will not plan a trip to Bakersfield. But if you find yourself there -- by mechanical failure, by accident, by the peculiar mercy of a bad brake job -- walk downtown. Find the tiki bar. Order a second round. Stay longer than you intended. Bakersfield has been underestimated, and Tiki-Ko is the proof.

The service or person behind the bar was chill and super friendly. I came in on the earlier side of a Friday evening, so although people were trickling in, the place wasn't packed. Since I was only able to stay for a drink, I just wanted to walk down and check out 'The Sinking Ship' and was thoroughly impressed by the decor (well pretty much for both spaces).
