    Late lunch with my love
    Joyous S.

Once again themost amazing braised, asparagus, coupled with the equally amazing braised brussels sprouts with balsamic sauce and walnuts. One is a side dish and one is a appetizer, but I ordered both of them as my main meal. I started my meal with their signature drink of the month, a Bonnie and Clyde. I got the Clyde, an absolutely adored the egg white foam on top. The blueberry whiskey was a new for me and it had just the right thing and taste. Our waiter was right on time all the time the service was impeccable. As a matter of fact, the hostess took an order for the children so they wouldn't have to wait a long time. I just love the kitchyness this place! It makes you feel relaxed and soothing, and there's so much to look at, but it keeps your mind occupied. We find the price is quite reasonable. Not inexpensive, but not horribly expensive.

My wife and I visited on a Saturday for our five-year wedding anniversary. I booked ahead my reservation through Yelp. At the last minute, I actually had to move my reservation by 30min, so I called the restaurant and they were very accommodating, which I appreciated. Being a Bakersfield native I definitely wanted to check this place out being that I had visited Chase Bank prior to the vault taking over. I was absolutely amazed by the decorating on the interior. They literally left no stone unturned. Every single corner of the restaurant is beautifully decorated. I do love the whole vault theme. It definitely just feels like you're stepping back in time. The food was fantastic. On a Friday and Saturday night, they offer a prime rib special. The plate itself ran about $52. But it was well worth it. The prime rib absolutely melted in your mouth. It was paired with a beautifully baked potato. It was also served with a side of horseradish sauce as well as Au'ju, We also tried out the brussels sprouts appetizer. They were absolutely amazing. Flavor was spot on. And I would definitely recommend it if you're just wanting to try something a little bit different. Our meal also came with a soup or salad. My wife opted for the Caesar salad, with house made croutons which she said was great tasting. I opted for the soup of the day, which was an Italian wedding soup. Again great tasting everything tasted fresh and was piping hot.

Came for lunch on a Tuesday and had friendly servers and a nice relaxing time. I was happy to see some decent lunch specials like sandwiches and salads etc. we 3 ordered the salmon Caesar salad which for lunch was $18 instead of $24 not sure if the portions were smaller but we each got a big salmon filet. It was just a tad salty though. They bring bread for the table which is nice and compliments a salad lunch really well. We also got 2 appetizers to share, the tritip bruschetta and the beef Wellington bites. The bruschetta was really good! 3 big pieces so perfect for our group of 3! A little hard to eat but delicious! The beef Wellington was just ok but we really liked the bruschetta We enjoyed our lunch and will be back for a steak dinner sometime! Just a final note - they charge $2 to use a credit card

Chase Bank turn into a high end restaurant! What a fabulous concept and dining experience. Details from the menu to the utensils and the name of the entrees. It was an experience that is gladly do again. Good was delicious . Service came with a smile and she was so attentive to our needs as we celebrate our dad on father's day. Can't wait to try other foods on the menu.

We cane to the Vault for our 31st anniversary. We wanted something special and not the same old places. I was pleasantly surprised by the new place and the speakeasy atmosphere. MyKayla is an amazing waitress and very attentive to our needs. I had the scallops on risotto instead of fettuccine. It was amazing and spot on. My wife had the cheese ravioli with marinara sauce. It was all fresh and hot. The clam chowder was delicious and I would compare to the famous Splash in Pismo. I would recommend for a quiet romantic dinner.

Service was excellent! We got Mykayla as our server and she was super friendly and attentive. We ordered beef Wellington bites as the appetizer and they were delicious. I would definitely order those again. They were served with a reduced red wine sauce that was really tasty. For entrees we ordered the caprese salad, crispy pork belly carbonara and the tritip sandwich. The tritip sandwich was cooked perfectly pink as tritip should be cooked and it was very good. The only thing I would change is to leave out the pickled onions/shallots next time. The pork belly carbonara was ok but it needed more flavor and salt. The caprese salad was my favorite part of the meal. It wasn't too busy for a Thursday night. The lighting was good. It was dim but still enough lighting to see. The service alone would make me come back.

We came in as a group of three for dinner on our weekday and seated immediately. As always, the weight staff was extremely friendly and provided recommendations for all of the different items on the menu. We ordered chicken piccata, a pizza and another chicken pasta dish. For appetizer we had the Wellington bites, which were amazing!. We also did the seasonal dessert which was a s'mores lava cake. I've never had anything bad from here and would be more than happy to return again.

We ordered the crispy pork belly carbonara and the chicken Parmesan. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and good portions. Server was very attentive and friendly with a smile every time she checked on us (Esmelda). Atmosphere is what you make of it. You can dress up or go casual. Either way, they make you feel welcomed. Only feedback is to improve the bread and butter. Bread was flavorless and so was the whipped butter. A simple fix that would easily make this a 5 star restaurant.

Right when you walk in, you can tell this place is different. The whole setup is inside an old bank-style building, which gives it a really unique, almost upscale but still chill vibe. High ceilings, clean layout, and just a cool atmosphere overall. The food did not disappoint. My wife ordered the Whack Job, and yeah... it lives up to the name. It's stacked, bold, and packed with flavor, perfect balance of savory and slightly spicy, with layers that actually hit in every bite. Definitely one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. I went with the Caesar salad topped with baked salmon, and it was solid. The lettuce was crisp, dressing was creamy with just the right tang, and the salmon was cooked perfectly, flaky, well-seasoned, and not dry at all. You can tell they care about quality. Service was on point too. The waiters were attentive without hovering, quick with refills, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. Overall, great food, great service, and a really cool setting. Me and the wifey will definitely be back.

We came into The Vault on a Friday at around 3:45pm and we asked if we could sit on the patio - we were sat very quickly and our server was awesome! We were the only ones on the patio so she had to keep coming outside to help us which we definitely appreciated. We had a few questions about the menu and drinks and she was able to find the answers and get back to us super quick. Our food and drinks came quick too! Good happy hour or bankers hours here and we'll be back for sure!

    Caprese salad- wonderful!

Service m was excellent! Our server was friendly and helpful. We placed our ordered, received the appetizer, finished it and waited some time for our food. Then was told they were missing an essential item for my dish. Then the kitchen figured out how to make it work and I was so happy with my food! Atmosphere is so fun! Kinda of a speakeasy, bank vibe. Beef Wellington bites- yum! I don't like mushrooms, but was able to have a bite of the steak with horseradish. Husband who does like mushrooms thought they were delicious! 4 "bites" for about $18.

Brussel sprouts and tri trip bruschetta

Found the Vault Restaurant during stealth camping and was happy it had late hour dining. I came here because the happy hour menu caught my eye. The ambiance is low lit and relaxing. The staff was extremely on it. Our server gave great recommendations, never let our water cup go down more than half way, and was always checking it at the right times. The tri tip bruschetta was a bit disappointing pretty much just a piece of steak on a bread with a ton of chimmichurri sauce on it. Not HORRIBLE, but just not what you'd think. Brussel sprouts were delicious. Never had them with walnuts, but suprisingly made sense. The Alfredo pasta bowl was so affordable and fulfilling for its price point. Spent around $40 bucks for a full dinner for two, which to me is a win in today's economy. Please note this is only because we came during their happy hour. Overall pretty good experience and would recommend!

Chose this place for my guys birthday dinner, as I've heard great things about it! I'll start off by saying I think the ambiance can be improved a little, I'm not sure if it's trying to be a nice restaurant or a pizza parlor. Tables need higher backs for more privacy, etc. Just my opinion. The food and service were good. I ordered the pork belly carbonara, and he ordered a calzone. Both were delicious, just needed a bit more salt or garlic. I will say I was a little sad about the tiramisu. I didn't expect it to come doused in chocolate syrup and whip cream.. I prefer it more traditional with just the cocoa powder. We both agreed the drinks were great, and would come back to try more menu items.

Little hidden gems. Lighting is dark with bits color and neon popping through. The Bar Top curves around the bar- there are two booths that seat 5-6 and two short tables next to them- one seats 4- the other will comfortably seat two. There are a few bench style seating areas at the front with some short coffee tables. Think- skater tiki bar. The drinks were good- small menu if you're not sure what you want or are new to tiki. Both sides of the menu are the same menu. There are some nice mocktail options as well- you don't see that often. The service for me is mixed- it wasn't busy- steady but not busy- 1/4 full. I ordered two drinks to start for our table- (no cocktail servers here/not unusual for a small Tiki bar) I asked for a soda water- the bartender looked at me without a word- popped open a can of soda water and walked away. When he walked back by, I asked for a glass of ice- he said nothing and I got an eye-roll huff. I almost left. I don't think providing a glass with ice to pour your canned room temp soda water in, is too wacky an idea to be perturbed by the request. The female who took the order was friendly, smiled and was professional. We got a third cocktail- the Mai Tai. The grumpy bartender was friendlier this time. So, that helped. Maybe he felt overwhelmed and I threw off his groove by asking for water- then a glass... either way- being annoyed wasn't cool. The music.... Wasn't Tiki- it threw off the "Tiki Vibe" and made it feel typical small local bar that serves only Tiki drinks with some Tiki decor. It didn't take you to the land of Tiki- disappointed. Drinks were good.
