Pasta with truffles

Chase Bank turn into a high end restaurant! What a fabulous concept and dining experience. Details from the menu to the utensils and the name of the entrees. It was an experience that is gladly do again. Good was delicious . Service came with a smile and she was so attentive to our needs as we celebrate our dad on father's day. Can't wait to try other foods on the menu.

Service was excellent! We got Mykayla as our server and she was super friendly and attentive. We ordered beef Wellington bites as the appetizer and they were delicious. I would definitely order those again. They were served with a reduced red wine sauce that was really tasty. For entrees we ordered the caprese salad, crispy pork belly carbonara and the tritip sandwich. The tritip sandwich was cooked perfectly pink as tritip should be cooked and it was very good. The only thing I would change is to leave out the pickled onions/shallots next time. The pork belly carbonara was ok but it needed more flavor and salt. The caprese salad was my favorite part of the meal. It wasn't too busy for a Thursday night. The lighting was good. It was dim but still enough lighting to see. The service alone would make me come back.

S'mores lava cake

We came in as a group of three for dinner on our weekday and seated immediately. As always, the weight staff was extremely friendly and provided recommendations for all of the different items on the menu. We ordered chicken piccata, a pizza and another chicken pasta dish. For appetizer we had the Wellington bites, which were amazing!. We also did the seasonal dessert which was a s'mores lava cake. I've never had anything bad from here and would be more than happy to return again.

We ordered the crispy pork belly carbonara and the chicken Parmesan. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and good portions. Server was very attentive and friendly with a smile every time she checked on us (Esmelda). Atmosphere is what you make of it. You can dress up or go casual. Either way, they make you feel welcomed. Only feedback is to improve the bread and butter. Bread was flavorless and so was the whipped butter. A simple fix that would easily make this a 5 star restaurant.

Right when you walk in, you can tell this place is different. The whole setup is inside an old bank-style building, which gives it a really unique, almost upscale but still chill vibe. High ceilings, clean layout, and just a cool atmosphere overall. The food did not disappoint. My wife ordered the Whack Job, and yeah... it lives up to the name. It's stacked, bold, and packed with flavor, perfect balance of savory and slightly spicy, with layers that actually hit in every bite. Definitely one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. I went with the Caesar salad topped with baked salmon, and it was solid. The lettuce was crisp, dressing was creamy with just the right tang, and the salmon was cooked perfectly, flaky, well-seasoned, and not dry at all. You can tell they care about quality. Service was on point too. The waiters were attentive without hovering, quick with refills, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. Overall, great food, great service, and a really cool setting. Me and the wifey will definitely be back.

We came into The Vault on a Friday at around 3:45pm and we asked if we could sit on the patio - we were sat very quickly and our server was awesome! We were the only ones on the patio so she had to keep coming outside to help us which we definitely appreciated. We had a few questions about the menu and drinks and she was able to find the answers and get back to us super quick. Our food and drinks came quick too! Good happy hour or bankers hours here and we'll be back for sure!

Caprese salad- wonderful!

Service m was excellent! Our server was friendly and helpful. We placed our ordered, received the appetizer, finished it and waited some time for our food. Then was told they were missing an essential item for my dish. Then the kitchen figured out how to make it work and I was so happy with my food! Atmosphere is so fun! Kinda of a speakeasy, bank vibe. Beef Wellington bites- yum! I don't like mushrooms, but was able to have a bite of the steak with horseradish. Husband who does like mushrooms thought they were delicious! 4 "bites" for about $18.

Late lunch with my love

This is obviously become one of our favorite places to lunch,! The atmosphere, and ambience alone is worth the trip. The servers are on point! They are fast and accommodating when we go with our 2 1/2 year-old who makes a mess and is loud. They are very very accommodating. The food never fails or disappoints us. My husband's steak is cooked correctly and my braised brussels sprouts are perfection! I had an Old Money Old Fashioned and lit DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The music ranged from Johnny Cash to Frank Sinatra to Yacht music and it just fit the mood perfectly.! They earned every one of those five stars today.

Brussel sprouts and tri trip bruschetta

Found the Vault Restaurant during stealth camping and was happy it had late hour dining. I came here because the happy hour menu caught my eye. The ambiance is low lit and relaxing. The staff was extremely on it. Our server gave great recommendations, never let our water cup go down more than half way, and was always checking it at the right times. The tri tip bruschetta was a bit disappointing pretty much just a piece of steak on a bread with a ton of chimmichurri sauce on it. Not HORRIBLE, but just not what you'd think. Brussel sprouts were delicious. Never had them with walnuts, but suprisingly made sense. The Alfredo pasta bowl was so affordable and fulfilling for its price point. Spent around $40 bucks for a full dinner for two, which to me is a win in today's economy. Please note this is only because we came during their happy hour. Overall pretty good experience and would recommend!

Chose this place for my guys birthday dinner, as I've heard great things about it! I'll start off by saying I think the ambiance can be improved a little, I'm not sure if it's trying to be a nice restaurant or a pizza parlor. Tables need higher backs for more privacy, etc. Just my opinion. The food and service were good. I ordered the pork belly carbonara, and he ordered a calzone. Both were delicious, just needed a bit more salt or garlic. I will say I was a little sad about the tiramisu. I didn't expect it to come doused in chocolate syrup and whip cream.. I prefer it more traditional with just the cocoa powder. We both agreed the drinks were great, and would come back to try more menu items.

Lemon raspberry cheesecake

It was empty on a Wednesday. Just FYI...they charge extra for using a credit card. I think there was a $2 different vs using cash. This resturant is owned by the same people who own the Woodstone pizza on California. Bread was good..first round was crispy. Still good. 2nd round was perfect and fluffy with enough of toastiness. I got the chicken piccata, which was recommended. The angel hair was not long. It was cut short. Tons of pasta. Sauce was good. 2 chicken breast on top. Save the other for leftovers tomorrow. My husband had the canzone. Pepperoni and sausage. He loved it. How do you have butterfinger pie on your menu and not have it. Then proceed to tell us that you can find anyone to make the amount that you need. Opted for the lemon raspberry cheesecake. It has lemon cake in it so if you were looking for cheesecake, I didn't really get the cheesecake flavor. The crust...hated like the crust. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and it was not made special. Disappointed. So...maybe don't go there to celebrate anything. We were told they only have 2 servers and 2 bartenders. I could just imagine the struggle on service if they were super busy. So BEWARE! Side note....My friend also told me they struggle on a busy day. They had horrible service but liked the food. Someone said they had a good happy hour, so maybe I would try that. Other than that...food is decent. Service is eh.

Tri tip bruschetta
Brendon B.

We stopped in for happy hour and were sat outside. Th waitress wasn't sure if happy hour was available outside. When she came back she confirmed happy hour was available and brought the food menu but forgot the drink menu. They didn't get my drink order right. The tri tip bruschetta was very dry but the bread was good. We couldn't eat in peace on the patio as there were always 3-4 flies trying to land on our food and the patio is right on the road and we had a couple incidents of cars honking horns. We probably won't stop here again for happy hour and definitely not outside.

Wow! We stopped in while visiting from out of town and were beyond impressed. From the moment we walked in, everything about the experience stood out. Our waitress, Jade, was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. It's rare to find such warm, authentic customer service these days, and she truly made our visit even more enjoyable. She checked on us at just the right times and made us feel completely taken care of. The food was incredible! I ordered the shrimp scampi with a Caesar salad, and wow -- it did not disappoint. I practically inhaled the salad (I would absolutely come back just for that alone!). The shrimp scampi was equally delicious -- perfectly juicy shrimp coated in a rich, buttery sauce that was full of flavor. We also loved the thoughtful details that tied into "The Vault" theme. From the napkin roll papers to the menu presented in a folder, the small touches really elevated the whole experience and made it feel unique and memorable. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals, and we all agreed that if we're ever back in town, this spot will definitely be on our must-visit list. Highly recommend!

Nobody plans to spend an evening in Bakersfield. You pass through it on the way to somewhere else…read more-- Mammoth, the Sequoias, the long flat grind up the 99 to Sacramento -- and if you stop at all, it's for gas or a bathroom or because your BMW's brakes have decided, somewhere around the Grapevine, that they'd rather not. Thank you, Weatherford BMW of Berkeley, for the near-death experience and, inadvertently, for one of the best nights out I've had in years. Stranded and waiting on repairs, we checked into The Padre, the only hotel in Bakersfield that feels like someone with a subscription to Dwell had a hand in it, and set out walking through a downtown that time has treated with more kindness than reputation suggests. There's a Woolworth's luncheonette still hanging on. There are old brick facades and wide sidewalks and the particular quiet of a Central Valley evening when the heat finally breaks. And then, on 18th Street, there is Tiki-Ko, and suddenly you are no longer in Bakersfield at all. You are, instead, inside someone's magnificent obsession. Tiki-Ko is a proper tiki bar -- not a tiki-themed cocktail lounge, not a place that bought some bamboo at a craft store and called it atmosphere, but a genuine, committed, floor-to-ceiling shrine to mid-century Polynesian fantasy. The carvings are real. The lighting is correct -- which is to say, barely there. The mugs are serious. There are pufferfish lamps and carved totems and the whole glorious taxonomy of tiki ephemera, accented here and there with a skate-culture edge that keeps it from feeling like a museum. It's reverent without being precious. The drinks are the real thing. Mai Tais built with actual orgeat. Zombies that earn the name. The bartenders make them with the kind of care and enthusiasm that tells you this isn't a gig -- it's a calling. They want you to be here. They want to talk about rum. They want you to try the Painkiller. In a city that most Angelenos regard as a punch line, somebody built a world-class cocktail bar and filled it with joy, and the regulars clearly know it. You will not plan a trip to Bakersfield. But if you find yourself there -- by mechanical failure, by accident, by the peculiar mercy of a bad brake job -- walk downtown. Find the tiki bar. Order a second round. Stay longer than you intended. Bakersfield has been underestimated, and Tiki-Ko is the proof.

Little hidden gems. Lighting is dark with bits color and neon popping through. The Bar Top curves around the bar- there are two booths that seat 5-6 and two short tables next to them- one seats 4- the other will comfortably seat two. There are a few bench style seating areas at the front with some short coffee tables. Think- skater tiki bar. The drinks were good- small menu if you're not sure what you want or are new to tiki. Both sides of the menu are the same menu. There are some nice mocktail options as well- you don't see that often. The service for me is mixed- it wasn't busy- steady but not busy- 1/4 full. I ordered two drinks to start for our table- (no cocktail servers here/not unusual for a small Tiki bar) I asked for a soda water- the bartender looked at me without a word- popped open a can of soda water and walked away. When he walked back by, I asked for a glass of ice- he said nothing and I got an eye-roll huff. I almost left. I don't think providing a glass with ice to pour your canned room temp soda water in, is too wacky an idea to be perturbed by the request. The female who took the order was friendly, smiled and was professional. We got a third cocktail- the Mai Tai. The grumpy bartender was friendlier this time. So, that helped. Maybe he felt overwhelmed and I threw off his groove by asking for water- then a glass... either way- being annoyed wasn't cool. The music.... Wasn't Tiki- it threw off the "Tiki Vibe" and made it feel typical small local bar that serves only Tiki drinks with some Tiki decor. It didn't take you to the land of Tiki- disappointed. Drinks were good.

4/5 Stars - Great Food, Amazing Service, and Fantastic Entertainment…read moreMy wife and I visited Valle - Flavors of Mexico for the first time, and overall, we had a very enjoyable evening. The live entertainment was amazing--slightly loud at times, but the band had great vocals and played exceptionally well, creating a fun atmosphere. We started with, chips and salsa which were absolutely different in a good way next we had the Ribeye Sliders. You get three of them, which is practically the cost of a meal by itself, and they were very tasty. A great way to start the dinner. The onions on these were good, but they weren't grilled to my liking. I was expecting caramelized onions, and they were more like pickled white onions. Because of that, I'd give the sliders 4/5 stars. For our entrées, we ordered the Enchiladas de Mole and the Enchiladas de Camarón. My wife had the mole, and I had the shrimp (cameron) enchiladas. Both dishes were very flavorful and delicious. The only issue we had was that the mole sauce and the green sauce on the enchiladas were chilled or not even warm to the touch. Because of that, both dishes receive 4/5 stars. For my drink, I ordered the Isla, which tasted like a very strong piña colada. It was incredibly well made and easily a 5/5 stars. The highlight of the evening, however, was our server, Stacia. She was absolutely wonderful. When we received the check, we kindly mentioned that the only issue we had all night was the temperature of the enchilada sauces. We didn't bring it up earlier because we weren't sure if that was how the dishes were intended to be served, and honestly, it wasn't a deal breaker. Stacia was genuinely concerned that we had an issue and seemed surprised that we hadn't mentioned it sooner. I explained that I usually only complain if the food is horrible or if we've had an overall bad experience. Because of her concern and kindness, we were offered us dessert. I explained that I didn't really want anything because the meal wasn't bad--just not what I expected. Nevertheless, we were presented with the Citrus Cheesecake, and it turned out to be a very good cheesecake just the right amount and an good ending to the night. Truthfully, because of the one issue with the sauces, I probably would have still given this place 4 stars, but I likely wouldn't have returned. However, because of Stacia's courtesy, professionalism, and genuine care, we will definitely be back for another experience, and I look forward to hopefully updating this review in the future, with Stacia as our Server.
