Came here the other day with family and the food here is absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend the basque cheesecake after your meal! 10/10!!!

SHRIMP PESTO ALFREDO PENNE PASTA
Juliet G.

We came here the other night during a weekday and tried their DIY pasta special. The server recommend we try the pesto mixed with the alfredo, so we took his word and yup he wasn't messin around! That combination was fire. We ordered one with shrimp and penne, and the other with chicken and linguine. I also upgraded my adult beverage to a non-alcoholic drink, the raspberry no-jito to be specific ~ He offered to change up the fruit but I love raspberries so I ordered it as is. It actually contains zero proof spirits, so it does sort of taste like alcohol vs just some juice mixed with soda. It was actually refreshing so I'd be down to try the other flavors on the next visit. Service was super quick, friendly vibes all around, restroom was clean, and the restaurant noise levels were good enough for us to still have a convo. My only suggestion would be to grill those big ol shrimp at a higher temperature, the charred flavor would have really turned that pasta into an A plus. Other than that, we had a cool experience and we'll be back!

I was on a business trip and I came upon this place. Wonderful vibe and the food that exceeded my expectations. Wonderful value and a great way to meet Bakersfield.

Steak Frites & Chicken Pot Pie
Gabby G.

Been coming here for some years now, always enjoy the food (can you tell what I like). Steak frites & chicken parm are always my go to, their sausage bread & caesar salad are also some of my favorites, you really can't go wrong with anything. Would also recommend coming earlier to grab a booth & some food & drinks to hangout the rest of the night, it can get pretty busy some nights. Summer made me a bomb michi & I also love their palomas!

It was a pleasant surprise to see the changes made at Sandrini's. The last time I had been here was 12 years ago during my wild 20s when the thing to do was bar hop. We gathered here for a friends birthday dinner and we were immediately greeted by our Server Damian who went above and beyond to help us put a couple tables together for what we expected to be a large group. Though not everyone showed up, Damian was patient thru ought the night, checking in on us, getting our drink orders first and then our food. We each chose something different off the Menu. A variety of wings, cheese curds, garlic parm fries and chorizo sliders. Everything was so delicious! Perfect way to get these near 40yr. Olds started for a relived night out on the town! I will definitely be coming back to to try their other dishes and enjoy this place a bit more at a slower pace.

It's downstairs area which I think is really cool! It can get really loud if you're looking for that type of vibe. It wasn't too overwhelming if you're there a bit earlier. My waitress kept checking up on us, recommended drinks and cleaning up our table. The drinks are pretty strong The mashed potatoes were so good, had so much flavor. My chicken tikka was okay, it wasn't super spicy (just like she told me it wouldn't be) but it was a great version of it, I would've preferred more bread over rice.

Bomb Italian sausage bread must try

We used to come here a lot many years ago. It's We recently went there after a night of drinking to soak up some alcohol and heard the food was great. Let me tell you their food now is amazing. Specially after a night of drinking, it was a little awkward being in my 40s and in a place full of 20 somethings but it was just nice to see everybody having a good time no drama but if you want some good late night eats definitely come check this place out. Definitely try the Italian sausage bread so good.

He was very attentive, helpful, and gave us a nice dining experience. 5 star staff, for sure! We were celebrating 2 birthdays in our family, and everything went wonderfully. Our waiter was polite, gave birthday wishes to them, and the experience altogether with a party of 8 was lovely. The bread they brought out was warm and tasted delicious with butter. I also recommend trying the bread with some olive oil and red wine vinegar. It's super delicious! I had Alfredo pasta with the ricotta ravioli. I switched out the meat sauce (that comes with the ravioli) for the Alfredo sauce. My favorite part of this dish has to be the ravioli. It was a bit oily, but the flavors were great. I shared the chocolate cake with my husband, and we enjoyed it. While it was rich and sweet, it was a bit too sweet for us. However, with a glass of milk or even some coffee, it may help with the rich chocolate taste. I had an Arnold Palmer, and it was good. I may be a bit picky, but there are some lemonades at restaurants that I don't really enjoy (ie- the Minute Maid Lemonade) because of the after taste, which this Arnold Palmer had. However, the balance of the ice tea made up for it. On a Saturday night, the restaurant can be noisy and busy. However, we really enjoyed the ambiance of the location. Their decor, the stones on the wall (in the photo attached), the lighting, the chandeliers, etc were all very lovely and tied together the vibe of the restaurant. I definitely recommend if you're looking for some authentic Italian cuisine! Would come again for sure.

We loved it so much, not only did we dine there, we ordered a bunch of food to go and drove it home to heat up and eat the next day. The next day food was just as great as when we ate there. It just has wonderful dishes. Founder by Nick Uricchio, and his son Steve they opened Uricchio's Trattoria, clearly a family affair. Sadly, Nick died some time ago. He was the nicest guy and always had a smile on his face. His nick name was Papa Nick. He always said hello to the customers and was just a doll. Go in his honor. It is just as great as when Nick was there. Steve is usually there to greet you and he is wonderful. Uricchio's Trattoria offers a great selection of appetizers, soups (a must) and entrees to satisfy anyone. They have fresh seasonal dishes prepared with care from Executive Chef Raphael Hernandez who has been there forever I think. Parking is easy. Make a reservation, you want to do that. It gets crowded. We have been there without one before and loved sitting at the bar and eating. Anything with shrimp is great. All of their pastas are great. We loved their spaghetti and meat balls. Their vegetables are made right. They don't consider it something just to toss on your plate. They are al dente and so great. Their Linguini pasta with shrimp, scallops, clams and mussels in a tomato basil marinara sauce is my favorite and they have the best salads and desserts. It is a must stop in Bakersfield. The place is beautiful.

I called ahead the day before and made reservations for myself, my mom and dad, and my husband. We sat down and the place was empty on a Saturday, just a couple tables occupied. My mom ordered a Cesar salad and it was warm! We waited an hour and 15 minutes and our food never came out. No one came and gave us an update but we kept getting sent numerous appetizers "on the house". Sodas were watered down. Bread was mediocre. Finally after an hour and 15 minutes we got up and left. Whatever was happening in the kitchen was not a good sign! They appeared to be struggling despite being not busy at all. I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant, my husband and I had to get in n out on the grapevine for dinner. I was so embarrassed that I even recommended for my family and my husband to do a dinner at uricchios, much less RAVED about it. It's the perfect combination of lettuce, Prosciutto, onions, avocado, and cherry tomatoes in a delicious creamy basil salad dressing. Make sure and ask to have it chopped, and get a side order of pickled tongue to top it all off. It's a combination made in heaven. The Luigi sandwich is also another real favorite. Match it with a Peroni on tap, and just sit back and enjoy life. The patio out back is a great place to dine too. Every single person who works there is as nice as can be, and the deli next door is stocked with lots of fine foods and wine, and they have an excellent selection of various types of bleu cheese. Despite a largely empty dining room, we were seated at a table which was in the flow of traffic, so not a great first impression. Next, the menu is fairly limited. My permanent date had a hankering for fettuccine Alfredo, and there's no Alfredo sauce on the menu. To be fair, there are also no baked items on the menu, so good luck getting a lasagna or a pizza, and with the Budweiser lights on the walls, the place looks like it used to be a sports bar that's trying for upscale Italian. Staying with the food, the dishes were okay, not great, and for the cost of a main, it seems that restaurants are doing away with complimentary soup and salad to go with the main. My osso bucco ravioli was pretty mediocre. The filling was a paste with no actual texture, but the pasta was al dente. The marinara sauce was bright and tomato forward, but osso bucco really needs a gremolata butter sauce, and with six ravioli, a soup or a salad is really necessary for a satisfying meal. Mom's porcini sachetti were tasty, but the filling was a paste, so the texture of the mushrooms was lost. My permanent date had something called pasta brase, which features the kind of ubiquitous Bolognese sauce the restaurant seems to have pride in, but it comes with sliced sausage and bell peppers. The Bolognese wasn't bad, and neither was the sausage, but it was cut in a way that made it difficult to eat with the toppings. Finally, my offspring had the grilled chicken pasta, and penne wasn't the best choice. Overall, I got bumped a lot, the food was mediocre, the service was lackadaisical, and I don't think I'll be coming back.
