People do cocaine in the restrooms the bartender was really cool though. Good selection of drinks. But coke bars aren't the scene. Some of the staff was aware to this drug use. The older, blonde bartender with the fake breast was peeking into the male's restroom while a man did cocaine. Law enforcement did not appear to be notified. So after dinner at Mexicali, my Aunt wanted to stop in here and visit the bar tender...yeah it wasn't about drinking a lot more lol. Fun place, full bar as well as a great bartender. The crowd was friendly and the jukebox had some a wide variety of music. There was a dance floor so you could boogie if the alcohol reduced your inhibitions enough lol. And we did dance. Came here a random Tuesday night with some friends. They have a Taco Tuesday special. Its around eight bucks or so for 3 tacos and a beer. Some might say this is a bit much for a special. That you could just as easy get a taco for much cheaper elsewhere. You would be correct, but hear me out. These tacos are bomb. Now, these arent authentic tacos or anything. You are not going to flashback to wild nights in Tijuhana with these. But, I took a bite off of my friend's plate and bought one for myself soon after. I'm not even going to describe the greatness to you. Support your local businesses and see for yourself! Other points to make.: -The decor here is so cool. Velvet wallpaper with fairies and such. I adore it. -Bring cash. They have a minimum charge for credit card. I believe its $15 bucks? - I can't tell you anything about their drink selection. I was the designated driver and gave it to my friend. I'll make a point to try their selection next time. -if you sit next to the entrance, you can reach the Poke stops and fight the gym. We used to enjoy coming here on Sundays and Mondays. We love Tiny, but that blondish curly-haired guy is an arrogant jerk. He thinks he is funny, but he's offensive. He always seems inebriated and when I was using the bathroom he was in there sniffing a popper bottle. We started to go Jerry's Pizza and that same dude Fausto just got fired from there. A few observations. * The Silver Fox is ultra-dumpy and divey and has not changed in appearance since the 1950s. Trucker scene by day (my stepdad used to day drink here), wannabe emo-hipster by night. * The mid-sized city wannabe emo/hipster alternascene must converge here now, moving on from the Mint and Amestoy's a few years ago. * Since The Silver Fox is owner-operated cigarette smoking is allowed inside (CA state law loophole). * Terry, the 60-something owner, mixes some strong drinks and has cultivated quite the almost groupie-like following. * 2 Jim Beams and Coke = $6. Damn!!! * You will be carded at the bar if you're not a regular. And best of all... * Friday night karaoke meant Stevey had to sing "Superfreak" as the crowd roared in approval. read more

This is the best place to go for Taco Tuesday, hands down. I love tacos and I'm even willing to drive to LA or San Diego to ensure I get good tacos when I'm craving them because I usually don't have the best luck in town, so when a friend recommended I come here specifically for the tacos, I was a bit hesitant.
