Tonight my party of 11 came in for a birthday celebration, and the service we experienced was extremely disappointing. When we first sat down, I waited about 10 minutes for a server to come take my drink order. No one came, so I went to the bar myself. After showing my ID, one staff member told me I had to pay at the bar, so I took out my card to pay. Then another waitress told me I needed to pay at my table. This was already confusing and unprofessional, but I brushed it off. Later, four people in our group stepped outside to smoke a cigarette. The first couple of times, there was no issue. But on the last occasion, our waitress (I believe her name was Alessadria -- not sure if I spelled it correctly, she was young with red hair) followed them halfway outside, yelling for them to "wait, you have to pay." One of the ladies told her we weren't finished ordering and were just stepping outside for a cigarette. Instead of handling the situation respectfully, she said, "Well, come back," and walked away making additional comments. A few minutes later, she was looking through the window to check if they were still outside. I asked her directly if there was a problem, because I could have them come back in. She denied it was an issue, but admitted she was "making sure they weren't trying to leave." I explained that half of our party was still inside and even if someone did leave, I could cover the bill. Rather than resolving things, she continued to argue back and forth with me. The entire interaction felt hostile and unnecessary, and I can't help but feel that our group was being racially profiled. From the start, we were treated differently than other guests, and the constant surveillance and accusations made the experience very uncomfortable. I've ordered takeout from Rock & Wings many times in the past, but after this experience, I no longer feel welcome and will not be returning. read more

I came here on a weekday afternoon and wanted a quick snack before I hit the road. Most of the items on the menu seemed pretty big and I just wanted a snack. I decided to order the El Caifan Dog since it had jalapeños and seemed like a good choice. The El Caifan Dog came out and it definitely hit the spot! The hot dog was wrapped with bacon and the jalapeños gave it a spicy kick to it! It definitely hit the spot and got my stomach happy before hitting the road! The restaurant was not as busy and they were practicing COVID safety guidelines. There were a lot of TVs and it would be a great spot to watch a fight or a game. This particular visit everything went smoothly and I had no wait for seating and my food came somewhat quickly . I ordered from the happy hour menu the classic burger and a margarita . How amazing is a margarita for 5.95 ?!? The burger was cooked and seasoned well , the fries were delicious and crispy . The margarita for me was good as well I prefer the passion fruit or guava. Love the diversity with different genres of music played depending on the night, not to mention live bands that also perform on certain nights! Sometimes the best choice is the new kid on the block verses the neighborhood franchise chain. If your an 80's music lover and happen to be a foodie, look no more cus here's your spot. The decor is eye candy for a music lover. I especially liked the drum lighting and music icon tables. Unfortunately for us on this visit no 80's music was being played so it kind of took away from the music vibe I was expecting to experience from the decor. They do need some improvement with service. We had to waite a bit before we got some service and for our drink refills. I would suggest a little sample plate of hot wing sauces as a serving tool so the customer doesn't have to try to sit and wonder what to order. But let me jump into the food. The menu was put together nicely with the food description matching the theme of the resturant. We ordered 2 - 10 piece wings 1 - burger, 1 order of onion rings, & 3 flavored lemonade' s and everything was fresh and hot. The wings were something you can actually sink your teeth into and enjoy the meat off the bone. The burger best one we've had in a while. The presentation was fabulous, they are served on a wooden serving plater shaped like a guitar and the bun is stamped with their logo. When you come to rock & wings you don't think about getting a burger. Every time I come here I always get the wings. My friend brought me here and recommended the Chilanga Banda burger. I must say it's one of the best burgers I've had! The chorizo patty and the carmelized onions with jalopenos and cheese with black beans, yes black beans were great compliments the burger very well.
