Rock and Roll themed restaurant with a nice decor, fast service, and a lively atmosphere. Plenty of TV's on the walls so you can watch whatever sports event is showing. The wings were flavorful and the fries were crispy. The buffalo chicken wrap was perfectly made and my favorite thing that I tried.

There's music playing over the speakers and games always playing on the big screens. Service was good our waitress was on top of things and without hovering. Food has always been on point, they cook their wings lightly crispy but still juicy. The toots are always a hit!

Great experience today at Rock & Wings! Wings are huge & crispy, great choice of sauces, $1.00 tacos are delicious & fries are hot & crispy! Service and ambiance were both excellent and nice and cool inside! Great escape from the heat! Going back soon!!

I was kind of skeptical about this place at first, boy I was wrong. The food was so tasty! I had the 661 Korn Salad with steak. SOOOOO good. I couldn't even finish it. Good size portions. Definitely shareable! Can't remember what type of burger my husband got but it had jalapeños on it. Loved it! Live music! WHAT?! It to many places in Bakersfied do that anymore. Great band. Great atmosphere!

I came here on a weekday afternoon and wanted a quick snack before I hit the road. Most of the items on the menu seemed pretty big and I just wanted a snack. I decided to order the El Caifan Dog since it had jalapeños and seemed like a good choice. The El Caifan Dog came out and it definitely hit the spot! The hot dog was wrapped with bacon and the jalapeños gave it a spicy kick to it! It definitely hit the spot and got my stomach happy before hitting the road! The restaurant was not as busy and they were practicing COVID safety guidelines. There were a lot of TVs and it would be a great spot to watch a fight or a game. I would definitely like to try the other menu items when I am back in town!

The ambiance was awesome--big screen TVs everywhere, a spacious open layout, and a fun vibe that makes it perfect for any event or casual hangout. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and I kept seeing the chefs checking on the food ensuring the guest were pleased. Right away I knew chefs take real pride in the way they make and plate the food. They've got a great variety on the menu, but I went with the fish tacos and sweet potato fries, both were tasty and full of flavor! I was so impressed by the way they plated the fish tacos not only were the fish tacos loaded with all the goodies, but on the side, they had included delicious rice with lots and butter and lime, as well as pickles purple onion. For drinks, we tried the bartender's special, a rum cocktail that was seriously a party in glass SO good! My mom had the classic Moscow Mule that was crisp and refreshing honestly, you can never go wrong with a Moscow Mule All around, a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back soon!

But that's to one of the biggest kids menus I've seen, I was able to talk my son into some real restaurant food and not fast food for lunch. It was not busy at all. The hostess was really friendly and so was our waiter. We were immediately sat and given waters. I went with the poke salad and it was so good! Very filling and a lot bigger than it seems in the photo. The amount of tuna was great, they definitely did not short me on my dish. My son got the kids cheese pizza and he was very impressed by the stringiness of the cheese. It also came with a decent amount of fries and fruit. He also loved the dragon fruit lemonade. There is no one there to greet you and the staff that is on shift just stands there talking to each other. Not once during the visit did anyone say anything to me. I went in wanting to inquire about birthday parties/events and no one was there to help. I sat in the dining area for a while to get a bite to eat and no one came up. Waited there for a while looking at the menu and nothing. There was no one to be found. The two staff members who were there who I assume were management just stood in the prize section practically laying on the counter talking to each other. I walked up to them and none of them even acknowledged I was there. Later the female walks up to me I explain to her what I needed and she passes me to the male who I assume is her boss (bald guy). He says "What do you need" no "hi how are you" or nothing. I then revert back to not wanting to do anything there at all and just tell him something else and he rolls his eyes fixes what I needed and practically throws the card back at me. In comparison to my first visit a couple months ago this one definitely disappointed me. I didn't even want to sit down and eat or book an event anymore. Guess I'll take my money elsewhere. Never seen this type of behavior from employees much less someone I think was part of management. Wish I could get a refund on the card I had already bought because I don't think I'll be back.

Nobody plans to spend an evening in Bakersfield. You pass through it on the way to somewhere else…read more-- Mammoth, the Sequoias, the long flat grind up the 99 to Sacramento -- and if you stop at all, it's for gas or a bathroom or because your BMW's brakes have decided, somewhere around the Grapevine, that they'd rather not. Thank you, Weatherford BMW of Berkeley, for the near-death experience and, inadvertently, for one of the best nights out I've had in years. Stranded and waiting on repairs, we checked into The Padre, the only hotel in Bakersfield that feels like someone with a subscription to Dwell had a hand in it, and set out walking through a downtown that time has treated with more kindness than reputation suggests. There's a Woolworth's luncheonette still hanging on. There are old brick facades and wide sidewalks and the particular quiet of a Central Valley evening when the heat finally breaks. And then, on 18th Street, there is Tiki-Ko, and suddenly you are no longer in Bakersfield at all. You are, instead, inside someone's magnificent obsession. Tiki-Ko is a proper tiki bar -- not a tiki-themed cocktail lounge, not a place that bought some bamboo at a craft store and called it atmosphere, but a genuine, committed, floor-to-ceiling shrine to mid-century Polynesian fantasy. The carvings are real. The lighting is correct -- which is to say, barely there. The mugs are serious. There are pufferfish lamps and carved totems and the whole glorious taxonomy of tiki ephemera, accented here and there with a skate-culture edge that keeps it from feeling like a museum. It's reverent without being precious. The drinks are the real thing. Mai Tais built with actual orgeat. Zombies that earn the name. The bartenders make them with the kind of care and enthusiasm that tells you this isn't a gig -- it's a calling. They want you to be here. They want to talk about rum. They want you to try the Painkiller. In a city that most Angelenos regard as a punch line, somebody built a world-class cocktail bar and filled it with joy, and the regulars clearly know it. You will not plan a trip to Bakersfield. But if you find yourself there -- by mechanical failure, by accident, by the peculiar mercy of a bad brake job -- walk downtown. Find the tiki bar. Order a second round. Stay longer than you intended. Bakersfield has been underestimated, and Tiki-Ko is the proof.
