Tonight my party of 11 came in for a birthday celebration, and the service we experienced was extremely disappointing. When we first sat down, I waited about 10 minutes for a server to come take my drink order. No one came, so I went to the bar myself. After showing my ID, one staff member told me I had to pay at the bar, so I took out my card to pay. Then another waitress told me I needed to pay at my table. This was already confusing and unprofessional, but I brushed it off. Later, four people in our group stepped outside to smoke a cigarette. The first couple of times, there was no issue. But on the last occasion, our waitress (I believe her name was Alessadria -- not sure if I spelled it correctly, she was young with red hair) followed them halfway outside, yelling for them to "wait, you have to pay." One of the ladies told her we weren't finished ordering and were just stepping outside for a cigarette. Instead of handling the situation respectfully, she said, "Well, come back," and walked away making additional comments. A few minutes later, she was looking through the window to check if they were still outside. I asked her directly if there was a problem, because I could have them come back in. She denied it was an issue, but admitted she was "making sure they weren't trying to leave." I explained that half of our party was still inside and even if someone did leave, I could cover the bill. Rather than resolving things, she continued to argue back and forth with me. The entire interaction felt hostile and unnecessary, and I can't help but feel that our group was being racially profiled. From the start, we were treated differently than other guests, and the constant surveillance and accusations made the experience very uncomfortable. I've ordered takeout from Rock & Wings many times in the past, but after this experience, I no longer feel welcome and will not be returning. read more

I came here on a weekday afternoon and wanted a quick snack before I hit the road. Most of the items on the menu seemed pretty big and I just wanted a snack. I decided to order the El Caifan Dog since it had jalapeños and seemed like a good choice. The El Caifan Dog came out and it definitely hit the spot! The hot dog was wrapped with bacon and the jalapeños gave it a spicy kick to it! It definitely hit the spot and got my stomach happy before hitting the road! My fiancé had some wings... he said they were good but nothing different then any other type of wings. I tried half of my mother in laws buffalo chicken wrap. The flavor was good but the buffalo sauce was too much for me so I only had a few bites. I tried some of the fries and they were decent. This review is for the Eastside location. But it also fits the White Lane location and their slow service on our last visit. We went to the Eastside Monday night and had their .95 cent wing special. I got a 10pc, wifey got a salad, my daughter got a 10 pc. And my son got a burger. 1 order of onion rings and 1 order of fries, 1 tall draft beer and 3 sodas. $101 later and $14 on iTunes credit, the service could be the deciding factor. Their bar had plenty of people sitting at it, so of course they're making money on drinks. There was maybe 15-20 other people scattered around dining area. Not too busy, but for one server she was all over the place. Or so we thought when we could see her talking to a supervisor or manager. Whom I asked for Tabasco sauce and he said let me check. But never brought it or even an answer of we don't got it. I did finish my wings and we took our leftovers with us. Actually we gave it to a homeless guy outside and he was thankful and began eating them as we were getting into our car. I will not be returning to the Eastside or White Lane location in the future. I must say it's one of the best burgers I've had! The chorizo patty and the carmelized onions with jalopenos and cheese with black beans, yes black beans were great compliments the burger very well.
