Our first time visiting, we were immediately greeted and sat at a booth. Elijah was our waiter and his service was amazing. Very friendly, he gave several recommendations, and was very patient as we reviewed the menus. He checked in regularly. Now the food... we had the bacon on bacon, ordered by the bacon lover, (my husband) and he gave it a 10/10. I enjoyed it too! We had the vodka pasta and shared it, and that was amazing, the pasta was served al dente and was perfect. The chicken was grilled perfectly and tender. We left room for dessert and ordered the carrot cake. I'm a carrot cake snob so I was already setting myself up for disappointment, It did not disappoint. Very moist, the cream cheese icing was light and tasty. Every other bite had a surprising crunch. 10/10 Drinks- I had the hibiscus muse. Very tasty and refreshing. Here on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't busy which was nice. Our party included 7 people and our waitress was on point with service. Here are the dishes we ordered; 1. Spicy Potato Pearls appetizer. This dish was really good and it consisted of 8 spicy potato pearls, perfect for sharing. I would describe as seasoned mashed potatoes, rolled into a ball shape and coated with a panko and deep fried and topped with finely grated Parmesan cheese. It's served with a side of cilantro aioli and a lemon wedge I would definitely order this again. 8/10 2. Breaded chicken over Garlic Fettuccine Alfredo. The pasta had a nice garlic flavor and a rich creamy white Alfredo sauce. Chicken was cooked to perfection and flavorful. One of my favorites 10/10 NOTE: all pastas are made in-house 3. Cali Lasagna : Wagyu beef bolognese, pomodoro sauce, Parmesan and basil oil. Lasagna was piping hot and very good. It had dollops of ricotta cheese on top. 9/10 4. Fried Lasagna: chef special. OMG!! Centro Cali is in a great spot. We had an event downtown, during the week and knew this was where we wanted to eat. We all had something different that we wanted and the menu kept everyone happy. We ordered a pizza, burger, pasta and chicken sandwich. It all tasted amazing and everyone got exactly what they wanted. CCB has a knack for putting together just the right flavors. The triple b burger with a blueberry compote was just amazing. The service was a little slow getting to us. It wasn't a very busy night but it may have been too many people for the amount of staff. I'm not sure, but there was too much time between us being seated and getting our drinks and taking our order. The food definitely made up for it, but I hope there is a better rhythm developed for better service. There was a lot going on in the back room. I recently found out that CCB has an event space as well as a nice patio. That night there was a fun music bingo happening. I hope to check that out on another night. read more

The restaurant is nice and spacious. Great for families. There's a patio area where you can also eat and the kids can play cornhole. The food was absolutely delicious. I came with my entire family so we ordered a lot. The price of the food wasn't that bad either. Not pictured is the pepperoni pizza we ordered because the kids demolished it. The service was good. Our servers were very nice and we were greeted when we walked in. Although, it would've been more helpful to be checked on more often. We waited quite a bit of time to try to get another table added to our party and to refill our waters as we waited for our food. It's also VERY cold in there. I would recommend bringing a sweater for yourself and your kiddos. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family. read more

This was my first time trying out Centro Cali Brewing and it started off well. The vibe was chill and relaxed with live music playing. The service was friendly and welcoming. The food was pretty good for the most part the wings sauce could be better. So the reason the 2 start review was due to biting into what appeared to be a piece of a black grill stone that was in a burger that we ordered. Luckily I avoided any damage to my tooth but that kind killed my first experience here. Hopefully this place takes better precautions before serving their customers. read more

Happy hour from 4-6. Centro has drink and food specials that are not only delicious but budget-friendly. I had the croquettes and spicy potato pearls. Croquettes were crispy on the outside with a soft, pillowy center. The spicy potato pearls were a delight to eat. When you bite into it, a burst of flavor comes out. I was downtown and needed some lunch. Pub food sounded good, but I'm not really a drinker. That's when I thought of Central Cali brewing. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, and while that beer list looked amazing, I passed. The place is very comfortable. And the service is prompt and courteous. There are lots of TVs to follow just about any sports. My sandwich came on a bun with cabbage and cucumber. Chicken breast was tender and had just the right amount of spice. They also make these homemade French fries that are delicious. If you're downtown, hungry, and you especially like beer, you gotta give Centro Cali brewing a visit. read more

Updated review We came on a Friday night and had no wait around 5:30. Our server was great, super attentive and helpful and warm. We made it in time for happy hour and ordered beers and 1 pizza that was on the happy hour menu. We liked both pizzas - the arugula and the Cali. The Cali was a little undercooked in the center and the cheese with sausage and honey was an interesting combo. I liked it slightly less than the prosciutto arugula. We went to Centro Cali Brewing and had so much fun. It was a Friday night 3/6/26 and the place was busy, but we were able to be seated pretty quick! The menu is awesome! We put in our drink orders and listened to the live DJ. This place is huge and very nice on the inside, I wasn't able to see the patio or the event space, but I've seen clips on Instagram and the place looks so cool also that the drinks and food is scratch made makes me want to try it all! The drinks were served and very good! We placed our food order and got the spicy potato balls, Cali burrata, Spinach Artichokes Pizza, and the Cali Pizza. OMG everything was soooo good! The spicy potato balls were surprisingly spicy to my husband but the sauce balanced it out and the combo was worth fighting the rest of the table over. The bathrooms were very nice and clean as well - it's a room with stalls and I didn't have to wait. The parking we got was street parking very near the front door - not sure if there was a lot or more available parking because it was dark when we got there, but we will be back FOR SURE to update! Well 2 days in a row for Centro Cali!!!! Went to a Yelp Event last night that was absolutely awesome. The owner was talking about one of his favorite pizzas so we had to go give it a try. The Capicola Fennel Pizza is now one of my favorite all time pizzas. The crust is absolutely the best of Bakersfield. The flavors of the capicola and the likeness of the fennel worked perfectly together. The clam chowder was good. Cooked similar to a pot pie was good but a little cumbersome. It was loaded in clams but to me needed to be a little thicker. Don't get me wrong, great flavor just to watery for me. The wing lollipops were spot on. Maybe just a little more color on them. First time here, it was surprising to see this little place just tucked into some unassuming side streets, but when you step inside it is much bigger than you imagine! I love the ambiance, it was clean and upscale. There's a back patio as well as a whole side room so there's plenty of seating. The food here is FRESH. And you can taste and smell that immediately. The crust on the pizza, the pasta (made in house), the salad, all just the perfect balance. I absolutely loved the Prosciutto Arugula pizza, and the Lemon Drop was perfect! It's a very laid back place but don't let that fool you, the menu and craft beer selection is very well thought out. From the homemade pizza dough and pasta (though they don't have any gluten free pasta or pizza dough... yet) to the artisan cocktails, you can't go wrong. I ordered the bacon on bacon.... pork belly topped with candied bacon and jalapeño. it was crispy, sweet goodness with just the right little kick. I also ordered the charcuterie board. It beautiful and thoughtfully put together, featuring creamy brie and a homemade blueberry compote that paired perfectly. It also featured some Salami, prosciutto, pickled veggies and garlic bread. For dessert, I had the tiramisu and mango sorbet. Both were the perfect ending .... So rich and satisfying with something light and refreshing to balance it out. Went on a double date with some friends and were welcomed with the same gracious welcoming as usual. Definitely ask to get a booth if it's available but seating is sometimes limited depending on how busy they are. We love the setting of Centro because of the simplistic elegance it brings with their decor and their overall setup. We started with the Bacon on Bacon and Potato Balls, which was great combo. Definitely drink the Potato Ball sauce. It's got a kick but it should be bottled and sold. I believe it's a simple cilantro Jalepeno sauce, maybe cut with avocado but it is devine. We then continued the evening with several types of drinks and the only downside to that was the overly sweet espresso martini. If you can, ask for it half sweet, almost like a coffee order. B uh the margaritas and seltzers were delicious as usual. Can't beat their 6% ABV White Peach & Kiwi Seltzer. We placed orders shortly after finishing our starters and went with three different pizzas, as well as the sole Chicken Alfredo. The pizzas did come with their spicy dill ranch, which should also be bottled and sold in house. Perfect amount of dill, with that perfect kick. If still go with their Four Cheese & Fig pizza, as one of my top pizzas. Overall our meal was outstanding. Great drinks, great food and outstanding company, couldn't have made the night any better. The service was also impeccable. Quick drink orders and allowing us to enjoy everything, while we casually enjoyed the evening. We will for sure be back, time and time again but we for sure need to try something other than just the outstanding pizzas. I loved the layout; the bar is super appealing and they have a large selection of beers but they also have a full bar, My favorite part was watching them make the wood-fire pizza! The hubs and I had one of those rare evening without the kids so we decided to make it a date night. We headed right to this gem that we've both been wanting to try out. It was about 7ish on a Friday night but the place didn't look packed. In fact I was told the wait would be about 30 minutes but when I went through the restaurant to use the restroom, there were plenty of empty tables around, including a bunch in the back room/area past the restrooms. Either way once I returned to the front of the restaurant, we waited about another 20-25 minutes to be seated. While we waited though, we managed to snag a menu and utilize the QR code to delve deeper into the cocktail menu. They offer so many drinks but don't describe to you what is in each one so it's a guessing game on what you'll get. The actual menu shows some of the drink options and what they entail though. I decided to try the Pistachio Crusted Salmon and the hubs went with the Spicy Diablo Shrimp Pasta. We also got the Burrata Salad and the Spicy Potato Pearls as appetizers. Well both loved the Burrata salad, I just wished they'd added more of the balsamic, next time I'll ask for some on the side. There was some seasoning on the pearls that I don't care for but the pesto dipping sauce was pretty good. I loved my salmon and whatever the creamy sauce was on the bottom was amazing! The hubs however was thoroughly irritated with his Spicy Diablo Shrimp meal. He said it tasted like Chef Boyardee sauce and looking at it, it did have the same coloring as the nostalgic "pasta." Came in for a YELP event. The business was generous to provide multiple options. It started with some really fresh pizzas. I love that they are willing to have bold and different options. Then they provided a Cesar salad with great bread. The Fettuccini Alfredo was next level garlic. My favorite pasta was a red sauce with a penne. We also tried a pesto style penne. Last was desserts and there were plenty to choose from. Our group was in the back party section and outside, this is a beautiful setting with hanging lights and a wall of barrels. Tried Centro Cali Brewing after hearing such great reviews. I liked the atmosphere and our waitress was nice. I really enjoyed the Cali pizza, even though I could not see or taste the hot honey. The added ricotta on the pizza was really good. The negative, the first two beers my husband tried to order they didn't have. In all our waitress said they were out of six beers on their menu. For an early dinner on a Saturday I was really disappointed. I liked the red beer I had but the IPA my husband ended up getting, he wasn't impressed. Said it tasted watered down. They have a kids menu, but it's not printed. My son had a burger and fries. I tried some of his fries and they were really good. It is worth noting they add a 3% charge to card purchases. They have it printed on the menu, but I tend to avoid places that have extra charges. Wasn't bad but it wasn't great. read more

I stopped by Centro Cali Brewing while in Bakersfield, expecting a standard brewery experience--beer and typical bar food--but this place completely blew me away. Not only was the beer selection solid, but the cocktail menu was surprisingly well-crafted. I was able to sample beers before choosing one. They were out of cubes one that had a pretty interesting description but I will get it another time! It's rare to find a brewery where the cocktails rival the beer, but they've clearly put thought into both. What truly set Centro Cali apart, though, was the food. I ordered the chef's special--a crusted salmon dish--and it was nothing short of top notch. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully plated. My 7-year-old had the butter pasta, and his review might say it all: "It reminds me of the homemade pasta I had in Italy." You can't fake that kind of praise. Service was also spot on--friendly, attentive, but never overbearing. Centro Cali is now officially on my list every time I'm in Bakersfield. I was looking forward to a good lunch after a hike. For some reason, a brewery post-hike always sounds like a good idea. At around 3 PM, there was plenty of seating and it was not busy at all. Took awhile for someone to take our orders but still all good. Had the bacon on bacon for starter and it was absolutely amazing! I could have had rice with it and it would be the best dish I have ever eaten. However, our main dish, the spicy diablo shrimp pasta was a bit of a letdown. I expected the shrimps spicy, sure. I can handle spice but all the way down to the shrimps, the sauce, noodles - everything was so spicy hot, you cannot really appreciate the flavor. Visited Centro Cali Brewing on a date night with my husband. Located downtown in a large building (parking is limited). Hostess & waitress greeted my husband and I immediately and we started our drink order. I ordered a cucumber margarita and my husband ordered an IPA beer (apologies forgot the name). The cucumber margarita was perfectly balanced and extremely tasty. My husband enjoyed his beer which was made in house. We ordered lollipop wings (Buffalo sauce). The wings came with a garlic spicy ranch type sauce that I could not get enough of! Definitely recommend the lollipop wings as an appetizer. Next we ordered a meat lovers pizza to share. The meat lovers pizza was loaded with pepperoni and sausage, Fresno Chili's, and bacon jam. The bacon jam on the pizza took this pizza to the next level! Last, we ordered the tiramisu for dessert. I finally got an opportunity to pop into Centro Cali Brewing and it was delicious. The place is fairly new and is a restaurant and a sports bar. The acoustics are not that great so the place is really loud and it didn't help that I had a buddy sitting next to me in a separate booth who was talking to someone across the bar and burping loudly from all the beers he was drinking. (Gross!!) Besides that the places clean and spacious, they have a room in the back that can accommodate an office party or a large gathering of individuals. Parking is not that great there are a few spots in their lot one of them being a handicap parking space so you will have to find parking on the street on a busy night. I ordered the chocolate martini, the burrata salad with arugula, the vodka and rigatoni, and the carrot cake. The salad was fresh and super delicious. It had a splash of balsamic glaze salt, pepper, and droplets of basil oil... It was so delightful. I could eat it as my meal next time with a steak or chicken. It came with two pieces of pizza bread, which was delicious. The chocolate martini was delicious, it did not contain any milk cream or any other dairy product. I had never had one like it before, and I was pleasantly surprised. I almost like it better than the ones with dairy. The vodka and rigatoni was so delicious. I wish I could have finished the entire plate. If you plan to go there, I recommend sharing because the portions are big enough to share, especially if you're hungry and that way you can try other things from the menu. The pasta was cooked al dente , and the vodka sauce was rich, flavorful, and a tad spicy. The bowl came with finally shredded fresh Parmesan cheese, which melted and turned into a creamy gooey sauce when I mixed it all together. I definitely recommend this plate if you're looking for comfort, food, and something that is filling. The carrot cake is very delicious. It is delicate, but also rich and tasted a lot like how my mom makes it with a hint of salt. The salt was either in the frosting or in the cake itself, but when I took that first bite, it reminded me of my mother's carrot cake. This is definitely one of the best carrot cakes. I've tasted in Bakersfield and if you're going to have dessert and you like nuts and carrots and yummy frosting, I highly recommend this dessert. The garnish for the carrot cake was whipped cream, roasted or toasted almonds with a drizzle of hot chocolate. Next time I order this cake, I will ask them to hold the chocolate drizzle as I didn't think that it went well with the combination of flavors. The walnuts, however, were nice and big and crunchy. Overall, this place is great, and I can't wait to go back and try their other food. They had a variety of pizzas some with figs, artichokes, and potato, so I am very interested in going back to try one of their pizzas. Enjoy! read more

We came in with no reservation and that wasn't a problem. Service was pretty quick, and they seemed excited for what they were doing. They did not yet have every drink choice, but we were both happy with the coffee stout (That's not what I ordered, but that stout was a highlight!) The food was pretty good.
