It's a cool little place with a chill vibe on a Thursday afternoon, but dang the drink prices are crazy! I've told myself not and to go here and I go back.i recommend a neighboring bar. I ordered two double Kettle ones soda and paid 54.04 with tip. The prices are way too much. I would recommend to go elsewhere.

I went to Roosters last night and only had 1 High Noon and 1 Nutrl the bar tender did not show me my tab. l am glad I had a receipt texted to my phone. She charged me for three drinks. I checked my bank account this morning and saw that they charged me $128.00 total. I want a refund.

My friends and I have been frequenting Rooster's since the end of December, but it feels like so much longer. The amazing atmosphere, consistency of helpful and vibrant staff, great entertainment (up and coming local live bands and an epic DJ) and a lively crowd are hard to find here in Bakersfield, but Rooster's checks all the boxes. Being a young adult, it's hard to find a safe and fun place to consistently go out to without getting bored of it or feeling uncomfortable. Roosters has made SUCH a difference in the town, and I have never felt so care free while going out to a bar. The security staff can read into people before they can start any trouble, and they stand on business when it comes to taking action on handling unwanted situations. Being surrounded by the security team makes the area feel very comfy and easy to worry less about any harmful people. I appreciate the owners, staff, and community who make Rooster's the perfect place for a heck of a good time for anyone and everyone. Bring your best boot scootin' attire or your favorite night out fit and have a blast!

If I could put 1 star I would. Service and ambiance is bad. Not inclusive and smells bad.

Fun place for sure the only downside is the small dance floor that you have to cross to get to the restrooms.

I guess because it's a sports bar restaurant, and it's in Bakersfield. I got the shock of my life. It turned out, this was the best barbecue food I ever had. Not only that, but it's very affordable. I would say a bargain. I didn't have to spend 100+ dollars for 2 persons, like a lot of so called high quality barbecue restaurants. The briskets and ribs were amazing. Delicious, flavorful, and melts in your mouth. Sides were also delicious. The service was good too. You just go up and get your order. It took a little time, but the staff is helpful and friendly. I'll be back here again, the next time I'm in Bakersfield. Maybe I'll visit the Buck Owen's museum. Bakersfield is truly the Texas of California, although I've only been to El Paso, Texas.

It's a matchup that just can't get much better. I also feel safe parking a car here and not getting it broken into. Even so, I bring my backpack with my work laptops inside. The menu has my kids happy, there's a good variety for the adults. Not really into drinking on a road trip, but as bars go, looks like a great place to watch the game with your crew! The service is prompt, order at the counter and find a seat. It's nothing special, just a well orderd eatery with something for everyone. Except maybe vegan and vegetarian folks, you'll get by, but this spots heard towards carnivores.

We walked over and had an enjoyable experience. I would first note, they only had 5 of the brewery's own beers on tap. I didn't mind, as I enjoyed a blood orange witbier. I had the sliders with veggie sticks and they were delicious. I was excited to see something besides just chips offered for sides. The seating space is ample and the night we were there, there was music. I was actually pleasantly surprised the music wasn't super loud and echo-y and we could still enjoy conversation. I would recommend stopping by for a beer and some food!

When we made the reservation, no one told us that the restaurant operates as a self-service setup. We assumed, like most places that accept large reservations, that there would be some level of table service. Instead, the table was basically just a place for us to sit and eat. If we wanted drinks, we had to go up to the bar ourselves to order them. When it came time to eat, we had to leave the table again and go up to the front counter to place our food orders. No one came to the table to take orders, check on us, or even bring water. We ended up having to get water ourselves as well. What was most frustrating was at the end when I went to pay the bill and was told that an automatic 20% gratuity had been added because we were a large party. I completely understand adding gratuity when a staff is actively serving a large group taking orders, bringing drinks, refilling water, checking on the table, etc. But in this case there was essentially no service provided. Everything from ordering drinks, ordering food, and getting water was self-service. If the restaurant is going to run this way, that's fine but it should be clearly communicated when a large group makes a reservation, and automatic gratuity for "service" that didn't happen doesn't feel appropriate. We come to Bakersfield twice a year and after this experience, I don't think we will ever be back.
