The food was inedible. We ordered orange chicken, spicy kung pao beef, fried rice, and pan fried house special chow mein. The chow mein smelled like throw up as soon as we opened the container, and tasted the same. It was immediately thrown out. The orange chicken was yellow, bland, and drier than the turkey on Christmas Vacation. The Spicy Kung Pao Beef had zero flavor besides "spicy". The meat itself looked like it was boiled - pale and tough as leather. The fried rice would have been perfect for day old stir fry - not for a fresh meal. It saddens Me to write this review. I've enjoyed China Garden for years, via delivery, but this last visit was very disappointing. This time the son and I decided to dine in and the food was borderline spoiled, nothing tasted fresh and it wasn't hot, nor warm. Our food was borderline cold. The interior was dusty and in need of attention, especially the fake plants. Though spacious when we entered there wasn't a soul in the place, which was a red flag, but per usuh we brought people. I'm not sure if our food was so nasty because we ordered a lunch special and they reserve what's going bad for those orders because the other four families dining in didn't seem to be having the same experience. What saved this review from being a 1 star review and the only reason I didn't complain to the waitress about the quality of the food is because the only server was elderly and unable to pick up her feet and my very gracious son said to lig, so I did, but it appears if the couple who runs the restaurant doesn't get some help soon they may need to close their doors. read more

We tried China Garden for the first time tonight, and it will be the last. We ordered egg rolls, chicken chow mien, sweet & sour pork, and orange chicken. The chow mien was the only thing that tasted good. The egg rolls had a very funky taste, my husband thought there might be shrimp in it, but there was no mention of that on their menu. The breading on the sweet & sour pork was soggy and I'm not sure it was even tempura. Nothing really tasted that great. Delivery was fast and the food was hot when it arrived. It was -$50 for our meal, but after taxes, fees, delivery, and a tip, it was ~$70, and for that price I expected much better food. Very disappointing. read more

Owners of the strip mall refused to help their occupants deal with said critters. Occupants have taken matters into their own hands to keep things managed. So.... They're open! I've been coming here for the past few days. Their food is delicious. But things change when I came in today to pick up my order. Y'all know I love my chili oil. I checked my order and she only gave me one. I asked for 4 more, and she said it's a "dollar" each. Mind you these chili oil come in a small container. SMALL container and it's a dollar!? The owner, Yoya, has seen my siblings and I grow up and she and her employees have always treated us with respect and courtesy! My favorites are the Garlic Chicken, Sliced Chicken with Broccoli, Kung Pao Three Delights, and the Chicken Chow Mein! OMG!!! These are all just so amazing! I also LOVE their sizzling rice soup and is seriously one of the best soups in town. In fact, if I'm sick, I will get this to help me feel better! It's a sizable restaurant so you can eat comfortably without having to be shoulder to shoulder with strangers. The buffet itself has solid options and the staff do a superb job maintaining the restaurant as it was very clean, and they are on top of things as it persons to refills!
