I came by this place during work on my lunch, Definitely a great choice it was so yummy and good pricing. I ordered the Chow Mein and Kung Poa chicken with Thai tea.

OK THIS PLACE IS LEGIT A REALLY TASTY CHINESSE FOOD. Now that I'm back in the area, I wanted to see if there was any new spots and this place came up and I'm so happy that I came by to try it. My new favorite Chinese spot in town now that's foresure. Located right off 24th street, it was very easy to find. As soon as you walking in, you can smell the amazing aroma of the food. Extensive options to build your plate. Very good menu in my opinion. The girl working the front is super friendly and very good at her job. Asked her what she would reccomend and she told me to check out the spicy garlic chicken. THAT CHICKEN IS A 10/10. So much flavor and cooked to perfection. I got all noodles with my entree and the noddles are hands down some of the best I've had in town. They also served a good Thai tea so make sure to pick one up if you're thirsty. For a plate this large for less then $8 bucks IS SO WORTH IT. Overall, if your looking for fast, delicious, and quality Chinese food then don't look any further. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Thanks Brother Express, till next time.

I had high hopes for Brothers Express, but the food was a major letdown. The orange chicken and garlic chicken were both incredibly chewy and completely lacked flavor, making them difficult to enjoy. The teriyaki chicken was just as disappointing, dry and tough, with a sauce that did nothing to help. The only highlight of the meal was the noodles. They were well-cooked and flavorful, and honestly the only reason this review isn't one star instead of two.

I travel 30 minutes to get this.. Rice isn't my fave but that chow mein is , customer service is awesome

It might not look like much from the outside, but this place is where it's at for quick, delicious Chinese food. Nothing fancy inside, but the employees up front are so kind! They will tackle a HUGE line of people with ease and kindness. The portions are plentiful. I wasn't able to eat half of my Combo B. Everything is very fresh and their noddles are so soft!

I asked for 2 of these cheap a** plates bc i was splitting a plate between 2 kids & the lady that works there with the tattoos all over her face said she could only give me one... i dont see what the issue was with giving me 2 plates

The portions you get are huge. One 2 combo is $9.15, the standard fried rice or chicken mein and then 2 entrees. There is a choice of about 8 to 10 entrees. Everything looks fresh. Ordered chow mein orange chicken and coconut shrimp. There is an uocharge for shrimp. Again the portions are ample. Chow mei. I think they used spaghetti noodles? Not bad. Orange chicken needed for orange flavo, but the breading was ligh, which I appreciated. The coconut shrimp was light like a tempura batter and sauced after you ordere, but I would want more flavor. Everything was ok. Great option over the panda. They have family meals also. And they have real Sriracha for 50 cents a cup and $10 a bottle (you know you know)

This is the "Bowl" option, Combo A. I ordered spicy chicken and half rice half chow mien.

The server, a Hispanic short female was rude and had seemingly no sense about how to behave with the customers. Will not come back here.

So much food! Great flavor and such a great price! You could feed your entire family for the price of two eating elsewhere.

The place is like your standard Chinese takeout restaurant, where you have premade dishes, ready to be served with white rice, fried rice, or chow mein noodles. The menu has standard items such as orange chicken, general, chicken, chicken, teriyaki, honey, walnut, shrimp, honey, chicken, mushroom chicken, and so. They also offer egg rolls, cream, cheese, wontons, and soup. What stands out about this place is that they offer a catering menu, unlike some of the other homegrown Chinese takeout places. The restaurant itself is very clean although had a strong smell of Fabuloso and the tables in the floors were a bit sticky. They have one singular bathroom and it was clean. The person who took my order was very nice, friendly, and professional. She was very eager to give me a taste of the entrées in case I wasn't sure what I wanted to eat and I thought that was very cool. I purchased a bowl with half fried rice and half chow mein, and one entrée. For my entrée chose the honey shrimp. my meal came with a fountain drink so that was good. The entrée is $9.99 however, because I got the shrimp, it was a little bit extra. I wish I had gone when the IG people were there doing their reel... Because my food didn't taste anything like how they described it. The honey shrimp was very tasty and the shrimp was cooked perfectly however, every now and then I would get a huge puffy piece. I was not impressed with the fried rice nor the chow mein. I was expecting it to have a wok-seared flavor, like how it was described by the couple doing the reel on IG. For me, it was very plain, in fact, at one point, I thought the chow mein noodles were spaghetti noodles. While the meal satisfied my hunger, since it was dinner time, I likely will not be going back... Sorry, peeps I still have not found good Chinese food in Bakersfield. I hope you have a different experience, and if you do, enjoy!

Spicy, stir-fried flat rice noodles with your choice of meat (we picked chicken and beef & pork are available for an additional fee) chili, garlic, basil, onion, bell pepper, carrot and tomato. You can pick your level of spicy and we went with spicy. 5/5 2. Crying Tiger $18.95, Thai style grilled beef. Served medium rare with spicy tamarind sauce. This was definitely my favorite. The meat was tender with a bit of fattiness, oh so good. 5/5 3. Thai Boat Noodle Soup $16.95, a savory herbal broth with pork rinds, beansprouts, Chinese broccoli, choice of noodles and choice of beef or pork, topped with fried garlic, green onion, and cilantro. I have food allergies, and they went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs, which I greatly appreciated. It's not always easy to find a restaurant that takes allergies seriously, and their willingness to help made the entire dining experience stress-free and enjoyable. The food was fresh, flavorful, and generously prepared. The lemon chicken was a standout dish--the chicken was tender and crispy, coated in a bright, tangy lemon sauce that was perfectly balanced between sweet and citrusy. I also really enjoyed the chow mein, which was packed with flavor and had a great texture with perfectly cooked noodles and vegetables. The chicken and vegetables dish was another favorite, featuring tender chicken and fresh, crisp vegetables in a light, savory sauce that let the ingredients shine. While the fried rice wasn't my personal favorite, the quality of the service more than made up for it. It's pretty simple, basic furnishings, nothing fancy at all. It looks like it can use some upting inside. But I was more focused on trying the food because I had heard that it was good. The staff that took our order was kind. The food menu gave options of different combinations. We chose combination a for both of our meals. I ordered double charmaine and the steamed vegetables. The other order was chow, main rice and orange chicken. We found a table and had a seat. And when we got our food, the first thing we noticed, was when we opened the takeout box container to eat, was an odor of something being overcooked like a kind of charred smell. After taking our first bite, it was noticeably that the chomain had like a burnt smell and taste. I don't know if this is the way they normally cook.Their noodle, or if they had actually overcooked it, and just was serving it? I tried putting soy sauce on it to try to see if that made it better. It did not. The Orange Chicken was just okay. The vegetables were okay, but I basically threw the entire container in the trash after eating a few of the vegetables. I did not tell the attendant anything about the taste of the food or our experience. I was just too mentally exhausted that day to post a complaint and try to figure out what else I could order. So sad to say everything I had heard about this place was completely wrong. The food is not good at all.And I will never return. So my suggestion is, if you want fast Chinese food, there's a place up the street that is way better. And skip this, its obvious whoever is preparing the food isnt really concerned about quality or flavor.
