They all looked fresh & hot.. our delicious lunch, was noodles, rice, hot chicken pieces, & kung pow chicken. If you like it spicy here you go...of course us oldies like it hot so we got these for my husband & I lunch. It was delicious food. My son also got the same options but added hot/spicy shrimp which of course I stuck my fork in & it was yummy. For our orders of #B (2) we received rice & chowmein with 2 sides each order with 2 medium drinks & our total with tax was at $29.00 which was good considering the amount of food we received.. we even had leftovers for later . Probably the best Chinese place in Bakersfield. The people who work here are so nice and while it isn't in the nicest area, it's very authentic and the flavor is phenomenal. stumbled upon this place by accident just picking up an order for Uber eats to deliver. AnyWho, I went in. I was hungry, and I took a look at their display. I seen the chow mein and it looked very appetizing. I deliver my order I came back for their chow mein while I was there. I ordered the chow mein white rice and mushroom chicken. Chow mein was good. The white rice was cooked well and the mushroom chicken was also very good. I put soy sauce and hot sauce on top. overall I'm happy. I feel well fed. The portions are good. It is very comparable in flavor to the well-known restaurant that I mentioned but with double the portions and at a better price. Parking is provided; staff is very nice and helpful. My frisbee team was in Bakersfield for southwest college regionals, and we were looking to get some grub after our games. luckily we found the best Chinese food in town, Feng Lin's. immediately we were greeted with utmost hospitality from the owner, who didn't mind a group of 20 college kids coming in at once. we spoke to her about why we were in Bakersfield, and she gave us free spring rolls and fortune cookies. my fortune cookie said "your next big idea is waiting for you". The next day, I got an email saying my research paper had been accepted for publication. I'm so glad for the time we spent and Feng Lin's. She even gave us all the leftover food upon closing down, and we ate it the next day at the end of the tournament. Came in tonight for a little fast food Chinese. The family and I have been here a few times before. When we came in tonight, there was a family of three dining in, a Person ordering for themselves, and another that walked in just after us. We ordered 2 "combo Bs" which come with the choice of fried or steamed rice and chow mein, plus 2 entree items. The entrees all appeared rather fresh, and the prep area and counter along the entrees were very clean. The employee helping us was a bit short with us as to want to get to the next Person ASAP. We added an order of wontons and a small egg flower soup. We paid $22 and some change for all that (with no drink), and they were out of egg flower soup. I thought we would only be waiting nothing more than 5 min, but ended up waiting nearly 15 min for it while the rest of the food got cold. The owner was there cleaning, and reassured us that our wait wouldnt be much longer. The place was clean, the food was very tasty and fresh, and the cost wasn't terrible. The wait time for the soup, and the fact that they charge for refills on drinks is enough to lose a couple stars. I mean, who charges for refills? read more

I usually hate going to these types of places (fast food styled Chinese food) because they leave me feeling like I paid for a heap of flavorless food. But not this place. Everything I've tried here is pretty tasty and fresh. Obviously they are not a gourmet restaurant so take that with a grain of salt. They even offer shrimp fried rice which is my go to takeout option. The pricing is on par for similar local places and one of the very few on the east side. I've never stayed to eat so I can't comment on that experience however I have ate at the ice cream shop a few doors down. The area seems a little shady but I've never had any problems and there are usually quite a few people in the area. If you're on the eastside and looking for quick Chinese, give this place a try. Used to be my go to spot for a craving. Went in at lunch time and ordered won ton soup and a side of orange chicken. I ate the chicken and started to eat the soup when a spoonful of broth came back with a small roach in it. I am very disappointed because I would tell everyone this place was great, but now I can no longer recommend it.
