This place is delicious, and the portions are sooo worth it! Now, we're going to try and stop by here more often on trips! The orange chicken, was me and my boyfriend's favorite! The thai tea was also really well made! Service was great, and the person helping us was so nice! Inside is pretty casual, if you're in no rush, it's a pretty decent sit down area with plenty of tables.

Always friendly and good is always fresh. I like that each combo includes a drink and portions never disappoints. I think they have the best noodles in town and I like that there is a rewards program.

Everything we tried here was delicious!! EVEN THE RICE!! Me and my family got the butter shrimp ( yummiez), orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, jalapeño chicken, general chicken, honey chicken, bbq pork (surprisingly good), veggie egg rolls, chow mein, and fried rice (the underdog ). Portions and price are good. This is our new spot for Chinese food. Sorry . Customer service is also outstanding. :) The place was busy but it was clean and the temperature was comfortable. What more can you ask for. We will definitely be back to try more items. I hope this place stays open forever...

Food is always good. Had to wait for it to be cooked. All trays empty. Staff was polite and helpful.

Solid choice! Here is the breakdown. 1) ambiance - Christmas decor is up and it's really nice and clean inside. My only critique would be the hip hop music inside. Not really my scene. 2) service - both times I've been the servers are very nice and friendly, which says a lot considering the first time I went was for a promotion and the place was packed crazy. 3) Food - nice flavors and food portion size for the price point. Standard Chinese fast food selection and the four entrees I've tried have all been good (general chicken, orange, mushroom, butter shrimp) the noodles here are the star. Very good! All in all, a good place to eat, I hope they do well and continue to impress for years to come.

Just went back to Happy Dragon after receiving comp coupons for food. Great food and service. Thank you for changing my mind about your restaurant and taking the time out to remedy my previous bad experience ! I will definitely be returning!

1st time visiting and not really impressed. Food is ok and they don't give a lot of portions like other places. Not all menu was in the buns either. I only liked the chow mein. Staff were friendly and we had fast service. I liked that the drinks came with your meal.

Cool lit up logo and sturdy chairs and tables.

A nice place to get a to-go order or to order at the counter and enjoy their relaxing music and comfortable seating. Their tasty entrees...Bowl, Box, or Chest come with a complimentary beverage.

I ordered the dragon bowl with orange chicken and chow mein. I loved the orange chicken. It's texture was perfect and it was the perfect amount of sweet. Mmmmm. I personally wasn't a fan of the chow mein, they had a flavor to me. My boyfriend Kail ordered the dragon bowl with teriyaki chicken and chow mein. He said they were pretty good. We also ordered the cream cheese wontons. We both agree they were very good and tasty. They prepared and got our food super quickly.

I was slightly underwhelmed with this food, but some of it was tasty. The noodles and rice were subpar, but the entrees were pretty flavorful. The butter shrimp and peppered steak were the highlights of the show. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this place if you wanted some decent Chinese food. I don't particularly like too many Chinese restaurants in Bakersfield, so I think that is saying something. Overall-- decent.

The pan fried dumplings were fine, although the filling was reddish colored with little spice. Added the dumpling sauce, reluctantly, because the containers did not look recently cleaned. My most favorite dish, House Special Shrimp, was way off. It looked and tasted like Sweet and Sour Shrimp. The vinegar taste was strong, overwhelming any taste but sweetness. It used to have a savory brown glaze, garlic and mild spiciness. This dish did not. We also had garlic chicken, which was probably the best dish we ordered. Our plate had a few pieces of thinly sliced chicken, but the majority of chicken we were served were 'bits.' Hard to tell the minced garlic from the chicken bits. The fresh onion and bell peppers were great, but cut too big and overwhelmed the chicken bits. Prices at restaurants have gone up, up, up! Now we're being charged for tea & white rice that had been included in every meal for the last 40+ years?!?! Last but not least!, the floors are dirty and there's dust everywhere. place is dusty & dirty. I don't recall it ever being this dirty. I was looking forward to the House Special Shrimp and a delicious Chinese meal. I was very disappointed

This time the son and I decided to dine in and the food was borderline spoiled, nothing tasted fresh and it wasn't hot, nor warm. Our food was borderline cold. The interior was dusty and in need of attention, especially the fake plants. Though spacious when we entered there wasn't a soul in the place, which was a red flag, but per usuh we brought people. I'm not sure if our food was so nasty because we ordered a lunch special and they reserve what's going bad for those orders because the other four families dining in didn't seem to be having the same experience. What saved this review from being a 1 star review and the only reason I didn't complain to the waitress about the quality of the food is because the only server was elderly and unable to pick up her feet and my very gracious son said to lig, so I did, but it appears if the couple who runs the restaurant doesn't get some help soon they may need to close their doors.
