Love the new location. Haven't been here since the move. Way more elegant than the old place. I really didn't like the "check yourself in" process. Takes away the initial human touch first experience. The menu was extensive. So many things I could not decide. We ordered a pu pu platter so we could try a little bit of everything. Hubby was undecided over the Volcano and Maui Fried Rice. I had a long list of things I wanted to try. I settled on string beans and chicken. He decided on Maui Fried Rice and a guava lemonade (I think. Could have been Mango iced tea). Everything on the Pu Pu Plater was good. I tasted everything and would order everything again. I came with a party of 8 on a weekday for lunch. The interior was very colorful and welcoming. The food took a while to come out. But the portion sizes were quite large, especially for the pho. Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Maui Pho Fusion BBQ Grill. I have eaten here before but it was my husband and daughter's first time. We arrived and were seated quickly. Our server took our drink order right away, which was a nice start. My daughter and I shared the pupu platter along with an order of vegetable chow mein, and my husband ordered the Szechuan tofu. Everything tasted great, and the portion sizes were very generous, definitely enough to share. The flavors were on point and the food came out hot and fresh. My husband commented on the crisp texture of the tofu, which doesn't always happen when eating tofu. The wait staff was a little slow at times, but overall it didn't take away from the quality of the food or the experience. We ordered the pu pu platter, which had a lot of variety--skewers, potstickers, rangoons, and more. It was definitely enough food for two people, and we even had leftovers. We also ordered an extra order of chicken skewers that were made differently or had a different sauce, and those were way better than the ones on the platter. My kids ordered the chili wontons, and those were amazing--hands down a favorite at the table. Overall, all the food was good. The main downside was the service timing. Everything came out at different times, which wasn't ideal, and it seemed like there wasn't one dedicated server for the entire place. Every table was full, and it felt pretty hectic. Delicious pho noodle soup in a huge bowl! It's larger than large. It's missing a star because the soup broth is not piping hot. I will go back, but before I order I need to make sure the soup broth is hot before hand. Otherwise, if they reheat the soup with the noodle in it, the noodle may get soggy. Also, I wasn't even sure who our waiter/waitress was. One girl took our drinks, another took our order and another brought our food. We also never got checked on while eating, so we waited and waited and then I had to ask an employee who walked by for our check bc we had been sitting there waiting for a while. I even took my dessert home bc I was tired of sitting there for almost 2 hours. So, the service was not great 1/5. The food was good probably a 3.5/5, only thing I can complain about was my orange chicken, it seemed like they gave me the crumbs so it was all tiny crunchy pieces w sauce and then 1 HUGE chunk of chicken.., the tiramisu was ok, the mascarpone was weirdly thick in some areas, and well, to top it all of I don't think what we paid was worth it at all. We paid almost $80 for just us two... $80 is kind of crazy for a combo plate and an iced tea.. that's steak and mash potato money not rice, chicken and noodle money.. so we will not be returning. read more

Maui Pho is a case of confused identify; or fusion, as some may call it. This is my first time eating at Maui pho at the new location. There are some new items on the menu but a lot of the menu is the same. I got kalua pork special, it was pretty good but the brisket eggroll was . Sweet and sour chicken was really good and it had pieces of watermelon in it that put it over the top. My dad and I went on a Thursday and unfortunately caught the lunchtime rush. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. You can minimize your wait time by using the Yelp app to put your name on the waitlist before showing up at the restaurant. This is such a convenient tool. I have eaten here before and my experience has always been great. I ordered the Bún Bowl (a lunch special $12.99; I made it a combo meat so it was an additional $5.00). The meats were salt and pepper shrimp, lemongrass chicken and Hawaiian rib. The shrimp was fried in a batter of lemon/pepper it was really good. The chicken had a nice subtle flavor of lemongrass which I liked. The Hawaiian rib was grilled to perfection and so tender. One of my favorites. The bowl also had one egg roll that was cut in half and served with their delicious sweet and sour sauce. The bottom of the bowl had cold Vietnamese noodles and shredded romaine lettuce, sliced cucumbers and topped with fried noodles (for some crunch), sprigs of fresh cilantro and Thai basil. On the side was Nướ chấm dressing. Nước chấm is a staple Vietnamese dipping sauce, a versatile condiment with a balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors, typically made from fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, water, garlic, and chili. It's used with many dishes like spring rolls, noodle bowls, and grilled meats, acting as a dipping sauce, dressing, or marinade. The key to a good nước chấm is balancing these core tastes. Everything in this bowl complements each ingredient nicely. Top everything with chopped peanuts. This dish does not disappoint. This lunch special come with your choice of egg flower or hot and sour soup. I ordered the egg flower soup. It was served hot and it was delicious. We also ordered a side of Volcano Rice. This is a signature dish and in my opinion, it was ok but not something I would come back for. Volcano Fried Rice consists of shrimp , chicken, Chinese sausage, scrambled egg and veggies. Not sure why is called volcano rice tho. My dad ordered the three combo plate. He ordered sweet and sour chicken and pork and kung pao chicken. He ordered half steamed rice and half chow mein. He loved his dish. I also ordered the guava lemonade which I was told was made fresh in-house. This drink was overly sweet and would not order again. On a previous visit I ordered their Vietnamese coffee and was very disappointed with my drink. Extremely sweet and not made correctly. I do not recommend it. The staff was extremely busy due to the lunchtime rush but they were friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was clean and as people left, dishes were promptly removed and tables cleaned. Yep - was here on Wednesday and just had to bring my boyfriend to this wonderful new venue of Maui Pho to show him how wonderful this restaurant is! McKenzie, the Yelp Ambassador extraordinaire asked me in May what my favorite Asian restaurant was, and the choice was clear (like other Elites say) - Maui Pho I told her! In fact Maui Pho just happened to cater a luau that I had at my home last month! This is really a business with a heart. Robin, another elite said it best, "You can feel the love they have emanating throughout the entire restaurant." Indeed, I adore, as many in this community the amazing owner Lynn and her daughter Shuroni. They are so warm, kind... In fact I snapped a few pics of them to send to my friend to make her jealous, and she replied, "LOVE THEM!" lol. Today, a Sunday, the restaurant is super busy! Good for them! 4.5 stars My dad and stepmom came to visit, and we stopped by Maui Pho and wow, everything was delicious! My stepmom makes pho often, so she's picky, but the broth here was so good I didn't even need hoisin or Sriracha just basil and cilantro and it was perfect. We tried the Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup, Shrimp Pho, and Beef Combo Pho. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and comforting. Have come here a handful of times, has been great, however this instance a few hiccups. First, the beef in the beef pho was so chewy and stringy, I started choking on it. Figured small enough issue I'll just pull the meat out and keep eating. Getting ready to go, packing up food and come across a silk worm in our food. On our visit we had the special salt and pepper pork chops. This plate came with 5 pieces of pork chops with soup, egg rolls and rice and chowmein. The serving was just right and probably could have been split by 2 people. I had the hot and spicy shrimp. This was so delicious. It also came with an egg roll. Thai tea is good. Only issue is I said I wanted utensils included when I ordered online, get in my car and nothing. Shall I just shove my face in the container and eat it like a cat? Also their pad Thai tastes like literally nothing. It has zero pad Thai flavors... zero oyster sauce... no peanuts or lime on the side. Not worth it at all. Super spicy with no sweetness. It's as if they just added random spices to make the pad Thai coloring to the noodles. And fyi nobody puts regular onions or bell peppers in this dish, only green onions.
