Family-owned, authentic, no-frills Thai restaurant. Stopped by this spot on the way back from Northern California to Southern California and may have found one of the best Thai places I've ever been to. The staff is very sweet and attentive! You can tell the charm of the place by the family's story on the menu and the grad-party decorations by the door. The recipes prioritize spice and protein. And not sure how to explain this, but you can taste each ingredient by how they cooked the dish. Usually I find that everything has one general flavor. A sweet place to stop if you're looking for something unassuming, true to form. Just pure delicious food, no flashy dining experience.

Kin Thai is a hidden gem. It's located off Brimhall in an old Snow Shack space. We were greeted by the sweetest lady. She gave us menus and then we ordered at the counter and water is self serve. My family enjoyed the chicken satay, drunken noodle and Pad Thai dishes. Every dish was served fresh, hot and was great. The staff (a multigenerational family) was kind, friendly, and very appreciative of enjoying their food.

Great " MOM AND POPS " Thai place ! It's a wonderful restaurant for a tasty meal. I had the Mango Sticky Rice ( spring & summer only ) I also enjoyed two plates , the Pad Thai and the Pad See Ew . I definitely will come back again and try more favorites. The service was amazing and the workers really make this food with care , you can tell .

Soft opening! I guess they are waiting for a sign to be approved by the city to have their grand opening. Ive been waiting for this place to open so Im glad my friend posted that it was open and said it was delicious. I ordered the chicken panang curry, it comes with white rice and the chicken pad thai with thai ice tea. Loved the pad thai. I highly recommend recommend. The panang curry was good too. Not too spicy like the last time I had parang and the thai tea wasn't overly sweet and I loved the ice that was in it! I think I would come back. The prices are great and it was plenty of food for 2 people.

What a wonderful surprise! Was recommended by a friend and had a great experience, the staff was very friendly when I walked in the door. I ordered the yellow curry with pork and a tai iced tea to go the meal was packaged well with very generous portions, I really enjoyed the curry it was more savory than most yellow curry's and the tai tea was on the sweet side but paired perfectly. Spice level was good more on the mild side but I'm sure they can make it as spicy as you'd like. Definitely check out this hidden gem!

Noticed this new Thai restaurant, so I went in to grab some lunch to go, I was greeted by the family that owns the restaurant, and they went over their soft lunch menu with me and I ordered a few things. Definitely 10 out of 10 delicious! I highly recommend this place! I will definitely be a regular Customer here.

If you are craving great, authentic Thai food, give Bangkok Street Food a try. The restaurant is not big, maybe roughly 12 tables. Service is great and waitstaff check up on you periodically. Spicy, stir-fried flat rice noodles with your choice of meat (we picked chicken and beef & pork are available for an additional fee) chili, garlic, basil, onion, bell pepper, carrot and tomato. You can pick your level of spicy and we went with spicy. 5/5 2. Crying Tiger $18.95, Thai style grilled beef. Served medium rare with spicy tamarind sauce. This was definitely my favorite. The meat was tender with a bit of fattiness, oh so good. 5/5 3. Thai Boat Noodle Soup $16.95, a savory herbal broth with pork rinds, beansprouts, Chinese broccoli, choice of noodles and choice of beef or pork, topped with fried garlic, green onion, and cilantro. The broth was a bit on the saltier side for me. But overall a great, savory soup. 4/5 I look forward to additional visits because there are so many more dishes that I want to try.

And a TV hung up that was playing The Super Mario Galaxy Movie at the time, which was fun to have on. The service at this restaurant was fantastic! Our server was very attentive, sweet, and made sure to check in on us at different points during our meal. The great thing about the meal is that it's family style! We ordered the yellow curry and the pineapple fried rice. When the meal came out, they handed us separate plates for each of us to serve the portion we wanted. I only experienced a couple of negatives when it came to the food and that was: 1. The yellow curry was so delicious and had a nice coco-nutty flavor, but it felt like a few too many potatoes and not enough chicken. 2. The pineapple fried rice lacked pineapple. I love a few pineapple chunks in my fried rice but this had more of the pineapple flavoring and none of the actual fruit. Now, these aren't as much negatives as they are dish preferences. Everything still tasted solid and we left with our Thai food craving satisfied! Btw, make sure when you visit not to sleep on their dessert. The dessert is the best part! I absolutely love their sweet sticky rice with coconut ice cream. They add peanuts on top of it and it's incredible. Definitely go and check them out!

Well, let's just say I've had better potstickers from the grocery store's frozen section than this place... They were incredibly small and flavorless. If this is what is recommended, the steamed version must be inedible. Thankfully the Chicken Pad Thai actually had some flavor, but nothing to recommend to anymore. There is certainly better out there... This alone is definitely not a reason to go back. To make matters worse, it was pretty expensive... $31 for a plate and appetizer? No, just no. My favorite place at home for a huge plate and the same appetizer is $22, and my city is more expensive to live in. Heck, even amazing hole-in-the-wall Asian restaurants in Los Angeles (you know, one of the most expensive places to live) is cheaper than this place. And if this matters to anyone, the restaurant and restrooms are pretty beat up and dingy. It's not a comfortable or welcoming environment. The restaurant is located on California and Stockdale in a nonchalant retail center and kind of tucked in the back. There is plenty of parking and it is safe as there are a ton of lights around. When I walked in the place was a little busy with a few families wrapping up their dinners. They have a few booths, one long community table in the middle of the restaurant and then they have a large booth that can probably accommodate 4 to 5 adult adults. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. And my server was kind enough to explain the level of spiciness for each curry and how they are prepared. There is a sign at the check-in encounter that states they do not use MSG in their restaurant... So I'm sure this is a major plus for people that are sensitive to MSG. I ordered the eggrolls from the appetizer menu, a Thai iced tea with Boba, and the chicken curry, which is a yellow, mild curry, and that came with a side of rice. The Thai iced tea was delicious. Unlike other places, I've had it. It was not too sweet, just sweet enough. The Boba was tender and chewy and was also sweetened so whoever made it knew what they were doing. The eggrolls came out and were served with a side of what I will call cucumber relish. The cucumber relish was delicious and so refreshing. It contained finally sliced cucumber, as well as minced red onion, and some sort of sauce, and a little bit of sweetness. It definitely complimented the egg rolls. The eggrolls are vegetarian egg rolls. They do contain glass noodles. While they were delicious and fresh, I found them to be a little bit bland. The vegetables inside the egg roll could use a little seasoning and they could have been cooked a little bit longer to get the vegetables to steam a little bit longer. While I like my vegetables firm, I definitely don't like them raw, especially inside an egg roll. The chicken curry was also very tasty. And while it is the milder of the curries, it had a little punch. That is OK by me because I like spicy things. The curry broth or sauce was very flavorful and creamy. The chicken was also delicious. It was diced or sliced white meat, it looks like they use chicken breast, and you could tell that it was seasoned and potentially boiled in a seasoned broth. So everything blended together and was flavorful. The chicken curry also had some potato... I personally would like more potato and maybe some carrots. The white rice was also good... It was pretty standard and customary however they could add a little bit more. While looking at the menu, I noticed that they had lunch specials and they were very good deals. I recommend this place either for lunch or for dinner... I am definitely going back to try some of the other dishes. My meal was so good. I ordered pineapple fried rice to go. And of course, I had to taste it when I got home. It was tasty but could use a little more seasoning. Since it's been overnight in my fridge already, I am hoping that the flavors had an opportunity to blend together and I'm looking forward to enjoying it for lunch later today. Enjoy! Ps. I posted a picture of one of my to-go containers... they are great quality and leak proof, which is a major plus when you have to take saucy food home.
