Blue Table Thai Cuisine is a great little place in Bakersfield. We have eaten there, taken food home and taken it to a hotel. It just depends on what we are up to. This time we had it for pick up and drove it all the way home. It heated up perfectly. Parking is easy in the lot right in front and the place is cute, clean and comfortable. The service is just great. Be it on the phone for pick up or dinning there, you will get the best service, fast, friendly and kind. Their prices are fair for the great food the serve. We have been several times. We love their fried rice and their white rice. They have great egg rolls and noodle dishes that are just outstanding. Anything with shrimp in it is great. We love their chicken pot stickers and their yellow curry puff is a must try. Also get their salmon with the red curry sauce and their crispy garlic salmon. They also have a great rib eye dish. Have fun.
Blue Table Thai is a solid Bakersfield find when you're craving Thai takeout. We ordered the yellow curry with tofu, spicy basil tofu, and drunken noodles, and everything was delish, flavorful, comforting, and exactly what I wanted. But honestly? I LOVE LOVE their rice. It sounds funny to rave about rice, but this might be the best rice I've ever had. It's tender and fluffy, with each grain separate instead of clumped together or sticky in that heavy way. Just perfectly cooked and so good with the curry. Definitely a place I'd recommend to a friend when you want easy, tasty Thai food that hits the spot.
To start off, I was stuck between rating this place 3 or 4 stars so I would say 3.5 stars. Also, I did takeout, so can't comment too much on the restaurant itself or service. I ordered the pad thai with combination of meats and it was absolutely delicious. This single item on the menu is what will keep me going back. The potstickers with the sauce were amazing as well. We also got the drunken noodles with combination of meats which we were not a fan of. Will definitely not be ordering this again. We were also disappointed that we requested extra meat and were charged for it, but it didn't seem to have extra compared to the pad thai. Another thing that seemed odd to us was that when paying at the restaurant upon pickup, the screen did not have an option to click "no tip", so that we could leave a tip in cash. Just something to keep in mind.
Was craving something to eat with my roommate and we are always down for Thai food. She suggested this place and I am glad she did. The vibe is simple and nice. They are busy and get a lot of to-go orders. Our waitress was super attentive. I got the crispy fried tofu and the Pad Thai with tofu and everything was delicious. High key, everyone was super happy with their order. Definitely would return. Best Thai food I have had in Bakersfield thus far.
Food was absolutely delicious and serving size was plenty that we had leftovers for the afternoon. They are vegetarian, vegan friendly which I appreciate. All the food was delicious and made fresh. Staff was great and came to check to see if we needed anything and refilled our drinks. I appreciate that they had cups with lids for my little ones. Place appeared clean, and plenty of parking accessible.
I have been craving Thai food and decided to take the family for some. We ordered our usual, Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Pad See Ew. This time we added the crab fried rice and it was delicious. The kids got the boba and I got the Thai tea that I love so much. This place is one of our faves and we eat it often. Usually we order it to go but this time we wanted to be out and it was a great choice.
The food here was fresh and good , the service was very good , but I was the only one inside, I did enjoy the decorations on the inside. The food was fresh and hot , the sweet and sour was good, the wonton soup was also good and the tea was delicious. This spot is good , not over the top , if you're in the area it is a good choice, not sure I would drive across town to eat here .

I have never in my life had Thai food. This was such a wonderful first experience for me, from service to food this place is a must try. We are greeted with such genuine joy. Being my first time I ask lots of questions and our server was so happy to share information with us. The food was unbelievable, the freshness and care that goes into this food is like nothing I have ever experienced. Our server was so knowledgeable and friendly her recommendations were perfect for my palate. Ending with the mango sticky rice omg words cannot express how elegant and delicious the simple the dessert is. The ambiance was simple but perfect not loud and not messy. It is very clean and neat. I would recommend this place to everyone who is looking to try Thai food. I know I will be coming back often. Thank you Angela for the amazing hospitality l.
We stopped in for lunch today. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken and my wife ordered the drunken noodles with chicken. Both came out really quick! Both tasted wonderful! Lots of flavor with the right amiunt of spice! They do have multiple spice levels available. The pad Thai had lots of chicken and veggies. The onions and peppers for the drunken noodles were cooked perfectly! And they do offer take out. We will be back! Thank you Blue Table for a wonderful lunch.
My wife had ordered the Thai beef salad and crab fried rice from blue table Thai cuisine for takeout. Unfortunately, when I got home and started eating, I found a hair in the salad. That was really disappointing, since the flavors themselves were fresh and tasty. I know accidents happen, but it's harder to address when it's takeout and you've already brought the food home. A little more attention to kitchen hygiene and quality checks would go a long way in making sure customers have a good experience. I'd like to try this place again because the food shows potential, but I hope the staff takes steps to prevent something like this from happening in the future.
My friend and I had a lunch date here and had a tasty experience. She had never been here before so she was excited to try the green curry. I got the Broccoli in Oyster sauce with crispy tofu. We also had a small salad with our lunch with was very tasty. The server was so sweet and friendly, she took great care of us. The chef is amazing. My food was so good, I usually save some for later but couldn't leave my plate alone. Every bite was delicious, my mouth is watering just thinking about it again. This place is small but very clean, the service is fast and the food is absolutely delicious. We can't wait to come back and try a different dish. So many great options.
We started with the fried green beans, good but the tempera was a bit heavy. Spicy eggplant- my favorite Thai dish- so good, even without meat! I ask for medium spice and though it could be a bit spicier, it's still so delicious! The pineapple rice was a large serving! I lived the crunch the cashews added. Sticky rice with mango has to be one of the best desserts ever! So fresh and satisfying! The one serving was sweet and so quick! Food came out quickly too! Restaurant was clean and bright! read more

I was craving some Thai food, so we thought of swinging by Blue Table for a delicious Thai dinner. When you walk inside the host stand is positioned at the back of the restaurant. We waited for a little bit for them to clear off a table and were seated quickly. It's a simple layout inside. They have enough seating to nicely fill the space. And a TV hung up that was playing The Super Mario Galaxy Movie at the time, which was fun to have on. The service at this restaurant was fantastic! Our server was very attentive, sweet, and made sure to check in on us at different points during our meal. The great thing about the meal is that it's family style! We ordered the yellow curry and the pineapple fried rice. When the meal came out, they handed us separate plates for each of us to serve the portion we wanted. I only experienced a couple of negatives when it came to the food and that was: 1. The yellow curry was so delicious and had a nice coco-nutty flavor, but it felt like a few too many potatoes and not enough chicken. 2. The pineapple fried rice lacked pineapple. I love a few pineapple chunks in my fried rice but this had more of the pineapple flavoring and none of the actual fruit. Now, these aren't as much negatives as they are dish preferences. Everything still tasted solid and we left with our Thai food craving satisfied! Btw, make sure when you visit not to sleep on their dessert. The dessert is the best part! I absolutely love their sweet sticky rice with coconut ice cream. They add peanuts on top of it and it's incredible. Definitely go and check them out! read more
This was our first visit to Blue Table. I wanted to try the Pad See Ew. It's my standard dish I order whenever I go to a Thai restaurant. At my favorite place in Lancaster, I order the combination and it comes with chicken, beef and shrimp for $20. The place I go to in Tehachapi charges $2.50 extra to get shrimp added to it. This place charges $5 for shrimp, so it would've been a $25 meal. So I just ordered the beef, and it was good. I would definitely eat here again. My husband ordered a shrimp dish. It was really good. Customer service was great. He kept my ice tea filled, and I go through a lot of it! We definitely look forward to our next visit. 7/25/26 read more

they have the most amazing thai food in all of bakersfield. i recommend thai tea and pot stickers 100%. the customer service is beautiful and they will cater my wedding. i love blue table please go here every day. read more

I've done pickup at this place and both times have been positive experiences. In an attempt to broaden my horizons this year I'm branching out with curries. The green curry is exceptionally good, but let me tell you, the coconut rice is AMAZING! read more

Very generous portions! And delish. Very hot - perfect for a cold winter day! Had the fried tofu and yellow curry. Very tasty! Their medium-level spice was quite mild to this ex-Angeleno. Could only eat half of my meal, so will enjoy my seconds tomorrow. Although the food and service were great, Blue Table lost one star for the basic, takeout Ambiance - a few plants and softer lighting would make it more inviting as a dining room. read more
I finally tried Blue Table Thai Cuisine... the place is in a shopping center that I frequent and every time I would pull into the parking lot I would say to myself, "I got to go try that place!" I arrived at the restaurant around 4:45 PM and there was plenty of seating. The restaurant is smaller on the inside than what it looks like on the outside. There are a total of eight tables in different sizes throughout the restaurant. Shortly after the restaurant got a steady stream of pick up orders, and a few other couples come in to dine in. The majority of their orders were to go and they packaged them in a branded reusable tote bag. The restaurant does not have much of a counter, it is very small, and for one person. Behind the wall however, there is a whole station and kitchen that is busy. The place is very clean and has two bathrooms for customers. After I was seated, I was offered the menu. The menu has a wide range of Thai dishes, from appetizers to salads, and hot pot to other Thai specialties. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken in medium spice, and jasmine tea. The Jasmine tea was very delicious, I wish I had taken a picture of the teabag tag so I could buy it for home. The chicken yellow curry was tasty and a tad spicy, which was perfect for me. The curry had chicken, potatoes, and onions. (Note, if you have had yellow curry and other Thai places, it usually comes with carrots also.) The dish is a good portion and comes with a side of rice. If you are not too hungry, the dish can be shared-- I had plenty of leftovers! What I really enjoyed about the dish was that it was flavorful and had a good amount of shredded chicken breast in it compared to other places that give you three or four cubes of chicken. My favorite part was pouring the broth, which was creamy, over the rice. I am definitely going back to try some of their other dishes. They have a few noodle dishes I would like to try. Amazing aroma as soon as you walk in the restraunt makes your mouth water. The place is small quaint but very clean and the minimalist design which I love. The food choices on their menu are vast and the server was very friendly and helpful I was able to get some good recommendations Everything is fresh and delicious.
