Stopped here for lunch. They had a nice coupon on their website for a special three topping. I love this pizza California style, toppings all the way to the edge with that cracker crust my favorite style of pizza and me and Ed's does a fantastic job with it.they put plenty of toppings and lots of cheese. What a great pizza an 8.1 and I like to mention the use of the plastic pizza saver in the middle always is nice when you're taking it home. read more

I'm from Northern California, where Me-N-Eds originated and so I'm used to coming here for great food. I love this location in particular because the staff are always great, and it's the closest to my house. When I find myself in the City in the Hills, I'm probably going to grab pizza! I love it!!! The spot is cute and looks pretty darn clean! The youngins are hard working, and learning new skills. Which as as a teacher I can totally appreciate a business that gives them an opportunity! The pizza is very cheese with lots of topping and it's very tasty. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I called in an order on the phone was told it will be 30 min wait time. When I arrived 30 min later the pizza wasn't ready no problem I thought it will be a few more minutes. People came in ordered food and got there's before I got mine . It took over an hour I've me waiting in the store after I called in my order. With no explication no trying to make this right. This is insane for a Tuesday at 10am. Do better me and Ed's! read more

This place has turned into a real pigsty!!! I witnessed one of their workers who came in during rush hour holding car keys, walking into his work space and immediately began touching the pizza toppings, and the pizza dough without washing his hands or preparing for his shift. I also noticed that their prepping station is very unkempt and unsanitary looking. There was trash and food droppings everywhere on the floor, and not one worker seemed to mind walking all over the thrash. It is a real hazard for anyone working under those conditions let alone the environment in which they're preparing food for their customers!!! Hopefully they don't get anyone sick!! I hope they can fix their issues soon but I won't be returning to this place again. read more

Food was good service was good, with only two men working the cashier and making the pizzas. I'm still trying to get used to inflation so the meal for 2 was pretty pricey. it's a new restaurant so everything's clean and modern great way in the east side where we need more restaurants. read more

I saw that the Me-n-Eds Pizza was finally open on the East side, so I ordered a pie for delivery. Their online ordering system is a little clunky but it worked. The young man who brought it was friendly and courteous. I had ordered the Tuscan Harvest with a few extra toppings. WOW! They don't skimp on the ingredients! I was excited to see Me-n-Ed's opening near us. Their website was helpful, but I had to open my email to find out when the pizza would be ready. It took a few minutes standing at the "Pick Up" sign to be acknowledged by anyone on staff, but I chalked that up to the fact they had just recently opened. Unfortunately, my family was disappointed with both the potato wedges, which were soggy, and the pizza, which was not nearly as good as that served by the other local restaurants we visit. I hope they succeed. The place looked immaculate and busy, and they had seating inside and out. Maybe we just are not used to the type of pizza they serve. Best of luck to you all. read more

I absolutely love this pizza place ... For a min they were struggling on the dough but once they got the ingredients right, it it's super delicious... They have fresh ingredients and a wide variety of them too... I recommend you call ahead to have it ready when you arrive. It is so conveniently close to our neighborhood I LOVE IT! People are generally kind and considerate... BUT there is very poor quality control on the pizza products. Sauce and cheese do not extend to 1/4 inch from the edge if the pie ski skins and toppings are "piled" in the center of the pie and not spread out from the middle of the product. read more

First of all my family have been huge fans of me and Ed's for a long time. It's even a tradition we have in Christmas Eve. I was super excited when they announced this location. I have been consistently let down by the quality control but only at this location. I was extremely let down tonight with my order. I will start off by saying the two poor kids that were left to work there by themselves the night before Thanksgiving were doing the best they could and were extremely nice. They just couldn't keep up. My online order wasn't ready that was placed an hour earlier. There were about 10 people waiting to be helped and the phone was ringing off the hook. Then when the order was ready they forgot an item and I told them it was ok and not to make it. I felt so bad for the kids working. People were being rude to them and it was not their fault. Ownership needs to step up big time! It's always understaffed in there. Quality is not up to a normal me and Ed's and if you expect us to pay double price for a pizza then the quality needs to be there. Unfortunately I don't think this place is going to last that long unless ownership starts running the business like it should be run. Ohh and the website absolutely sucks but I'm guessing that's something that needs to be addressed by corporate. read more

We dine here a few times a month, usually spend $50+ each time. Pizza is ok, kids love wedges and wings (always under cooked). Now, according to the short fat lady with glasses, you don't even get a ranch or other suave with your wedges or wings? Cost me another $5 to bring that along. Then they have the audacity to ask for a tip. Well, you just lost what was a loyal local customer. We have a birthday party in 2 weeks we planned to buy 20 pizzas for, we will take that business to. I expected the high quality of all my past memories of my visits to the west side locations in Bakersfield. This was very disappointing. The classic combination pizza was over cooked and was overloaded with canned mushrooms ( yuck!) , the chicken wings were okay, but the wedges were actually the best part of the meal. I couldn't tell if the Me-n-Ed's franchise changed the quality of the food or the staff is just learning how to cook. I don't think I will be back. read more

I waited 90min just to get the worst food experience of my life. I order a lunch special #6 and they had no idea what the item included, I had to tell them. I also order hot wings, which were room temperature almost cold. We got the wings first which was weird, since chicken usually takes longer to heat through than bread and cheese. But apparently the rest of our order must have gotten lost. I went to the counter to check on my order and they said it was completed already. I pointed at my empty table and said well I didn't receive it. They proceeded to argue with each other until they decided to redo my order. Finally when the pizza got to my table....they made it wrong. When I mentioned this, the kid said well the ticket said cheese only. So that means the employee that took the order got it wrong from the start. Oh my, I was just in shock. They didn't even offer to fix it. the absolute incompetence and complete disregard for customer service in this place is astounding. Ordered a medium combination and some wings and was told it would be a 40 minute wait. after about 50 minutes I asked about my order and the employee looked confused and walked around looking for it and came back saying it was not ready. after waiting a hour and fifteen minutes I approached the employee again, who then said they did not know where my order was and offered no solution while just staring at me. I asked for my money back and another customer walked up with the same exact issue. I told the employee what happened and she said it was ok. I told her it was not ok and asked another employee how they could lose my order and also asked for his name. he told me his name was Miguel and the other employee told him he did not have to tell me his name. Miguel then told me they were busy and he had to help other employees and offered no solution for the extreme waste of my time. that place is terrible and has absolutely no regard for its customers. read more
