They do get pretty busy during lunch, so we had a 20-minute wait for seating by the bar. They offer a great variety of oysters and shuck them as you order them. The lobster roll was my favorite. The lemon aioli was perfect with the fresh-tasting lobster. The shoestring fries were crispy and stacked mountain-high. The kale was also really tasty. The clam chowder had more bacon than clam, but the flavor was delightful.

Oysters - Had the WA oysters which were good, salty and briny. 2. Snapper Ceviche - Fresh, great mix of flavors from citrus to spice and herbs. Comes with crackers. 3. Lobster Roll - Ton of shoestring fries. Lots of lobster pieces on top. More herb flavor than other lobster rolls I've had but this is definitely on the top 5. 4. Crispy Red Snapper - Delicious, hot, came with grits and a tomato sauce which was full of flavor. Did not leave one drop left! 5. Flourless chocolate cake - Crumby, flavorful, sweet with the caramel. Has some pistachio nuts sprinkled on top as well. The ice cream is more water based than milk cream. 6. Broccolini side - Smoked flavor which was delicious! Overall, a good seafood dinner and recommend to stop by if you're craving seafood!

I came with my flight crew (just a couple of pilots in addition) and we just sat at the bar. I had the kale rotisserie chicken salad. The peanut dressing does have soy sauce so it is not gluten free, so they brought me a champagne vinaigrette instead. It was delicious. I got this during the cyclospora outbreak, because I'm a wild person now lol but they assured me they only get quality ingredients and super clean all veggies and fruit coming in. My pilots got the meatballs, creamed corn, and deviled eggs and they LOVED them.

The Smoked Trout Dip was really tame. I wish something about this dish other than the price set it apart from just canned tuna salad with crackers. The French Dip was pretty good. I appreciate they put the horse radish on the side, because I usually enjoy slapping on more. I wish it came with fries, but given how theyre charging for fries, this dish would've been like a steak dinner if they added the fries. The Fried Chicken Sandwich was the best tasting dish of the night. Crunchy fried chicken with some tasty cole slaw. This dish really stood out to us. The food and taste were pretty good, but the steep price tags were just steep for no reason. Its a bit extra, even for Aspen. The ambiance was fine, very tavern feel. But I didn't care too much for our inattentive waiter. Would I recommend this place? Very hesitantly. The food was decent, but be ready to pay for that Aspen tax.

We ordered the Caesar salad, which I understand is one of their signature dishes, and it did not disappoint -- fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The onion soup was perfect for the weather, warm, comforting, and very tasty. We also had the burger, which was excellent and very satisfying. We didn't order more only because we had already had snacks on the mountain, but honestly, everything we saw being served around us looked incredible. It's definitely a place I would love to come back to in order to try more dishes. Highly recommend for both the ambiance, the service, and the quality of the food.

Delicious and more lean than I thought (which is not a bad thing). 3. Asparagus - Nice touch that they split them lengthwise. Salt and pepper, sauce on the side as requested. Very good. 4. Bison burger - Big, oily, messy. Truffle fries are average but good flavor. The bacon in the burger is overpowering so had to remove and put on the side. Overall a nice steakhouse dinner, especially for a mountain town. Recommend to try!

Unfortunately, the food itself was pretty average, especially for Aspen prices. We tried the Fried Calamari, Spinach Gnocchi, and Sausage Rigatoni, and nothing really stood out. On the plus side, portions are generous, so sharing mains is definitely an option. Table bread is available for an extra charge, and service was friendly throughout. Overall, Campo works as an easygoing Italian dinner spot with a fun atmosphere and good company -- I'd just keep expectations modest when it comes to the food.
